BlackBerry smartphone Touchscreen respond slowly

Hi, I have a Blackberry Torch and I found the touchscreen began to react slowly. I sometimes locking and unlocking the screen before it will respond to all. Does anyone have advice?

You probably need to just free up memory.  Remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it.

    You said we had the problem in responding to text Messages, well I'll try: when someone sends you a Message and when you open it you will see a bar below, if you want to reply to this message just type in this Bar and press the button Menu (icon blackberry) how has your trackpad moved top down you can see the send option Just click, or in short, after writing just press the Enter key to send the message.

    And if you are composing a new text message, click the message text icon click the Menu key and with your trackpad click Composer. the text Message then the Message screen at the top where it is written as. (Here you have enter the name or the Contact to whom you want to send the message) Then write your message in the bar and send it as above mentioned.

    To confirm the message has been sent or not, click on the text message icon on your home screen, then you can see all the names or the contacts of all messages that you have received or sent, to confirm the press on all contact that you send message and if its been sent then it will be marked as the right top.

    We had the Torch 9800 for over a year and now it will not respond to any screen keys. I can make a phone call by pressing the Green Telephone button and then the pavement rises and works, just nothing works on the screen of the app when they are affected.     I have a bb 8310 curve, but for some reason any I'm more able to respond to an e-mail message.  I can send and receive, but when I try to reply to the message there is no option in the menu for 'SEND '.  I use v4.4.4.170 I reset severl times without success and this problem has just recently and I have not updated all the software.

    Any suggestions?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones loading very slowly via USB power supply laptop

    When I use the wall charger, my fine storm costs.

    But if I connect it with the sync cable to my laptop - laptop is turned on with the BB Desktop software running (and I can confirm that I have a backup of the BB Desktop software then the drivers seem to work), the storm is charging is very very very slowly or not at all.

    Is it supposed to load OK via USB to the laptop power?  How can I go on troubleshooting this?

    Your question is not a problem, but normal and the answer "why" is simple. Wall charger puts out simply more power that the USB port on your laptop needs to (or can). In general, any single USB port is 100-150mA (and can be lower if your running on batteries and the system is allowed to control the ports), while the wall charger is to switch off a little more (700mA)... constantly.

    Not to mention that when connected to the laptop there is communication that passes between the device and the computer, especially if you use the Desktop Manager, which makes peripheral 'work' and try to reload at the same time. Sometimes the ' workload ' can be greater than the rate of charge, so why he does not pay at all.

    IMHO, load your device with the supplied charger. Only use your computer to charge your device in case of emergency. If you insist on charging the system with your laptop... Plug in your laptop computer, close the Desktop Manager and Device Manager and it should load a bit faster.

As I suppose, at this time there the phone detects it as multi touch and so I can't support what either.     If someone sends me an email and I hit the reply button, I'm allowed to type my response, but the only choice I have when I want to send, "Save draft" or DELETE.  When I read the FAQ, it indicated that I must go to the individual name who sent me email, hit dial and then send.   Before resetting and updated my BB software, I could answer without problem.  Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?   Chuck

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

    If your device is not responding Mode safe then had to force the detection of your device by using desktop software preconfigured to load the operating system even once and you will lose your data in this process, I hope you have your past Backup.So, please follow the Knowledge Base to recover your device.

    Since you just upgraded it, please try to remove instead and then reinstalling BBM fresh and clean. Make sure you first backup (locally) your contacts:

I remember a device where I had to wait for the touchscreen to become active, hold down the ESCAPE key for about 50% of the loading bar, release, then press and hold again close to 80% to 90%.     If you don't want to keep trying, your only recourse will be more drastic... I hope you have a good backup, as it is unlikely that you will be able to get one now.
