  The device OS version is normally irrelevant at the time to choose a version of the desktop software - although I usually like to use a DTM version that is at least as recent as the device OS version. The main factor for the choice of a DTM version is based on the integration of the Organizer you want. If you want to sync to your desktop PIM, you must use a DTM version that is compatible with this PIM. See this KB:

  Your choice next is language - or only in English or multilingual.

  Your next choice is Media Manager or not.

  Once you have made these choices, you can refine the exact file to download. On the download page of choice, there are a lot of other selections... These are all USB driver-packages only, in several languages. You can ignore those that the full package of DTM includes all the drivers you need.

Site occupied rim. etc. It might be easier to just DL the update of your carrier package and then install it on top of the DTM... then DTM will update your BB the next time that you attach.   I have a dell optiplex 760 running windows xp 32-bit.  I just reimagee this machine.  When I go to windows updates all of them fail to download.  I've renamed the distribution of software in C:\Windows folder, but that did not help.  Any suggestions?
