  Hello.. I used the blackberry torch 9800 and was very happy with it but all of a sudden I don't know what happened on the screen of my phone, it turned out black... I switchd it ND out e battery even when turned on it it started to work but after a while the screen is still blank: nd remove battery now is not useful olso... what will I do please help...   You are able to test with another battery? If this does not help, and if you have access to a computer, I recommend to backup your data using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software and perform a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software in order to avoid any problem of software that can be the cause of the black screen.   Three options come to mind.

  First thing first, depending on where you touch your device while driving may be illegal

   

  1. If you have a device password, enable the option lock your screen when you press the power button in your security settings. After doing this, check the screen wakes up at is set to lock screen Notifications instead of unlocking. When complted, pressing the wil key to display the time.
  2. Activate the reverie and your device is connected to your car charger for show clock and recent news
  3. If you do not use a device password, add a clock to your home screen widget, then press the power button to operate the unit, or double, tap the screen.

  What version of operating system you have on your device, is it OS5 or OS6, you need to uninstall some applications if you're under OS6 for Bold 9700 doesn't have enough memory to run the OS 6. Also have you activated Memory Cleaner on your device?  Check Options > Security > Memory Cleaner, if it is enabled then disable it, because it also cause freezing and clock.

  This option is not there in BlackBerry. We have to live with it. However, you can get some 3rd party applications to do the trick for you.

  I need a third-party application to open these documents. I downloaded Mobipocket Reader on my PC, the program recognized a downloaded a player for BB. I have imported the Word documents and can now read on the BB. Yayee!

  Have you checked your network. Is this picture is really uploaded under your current display picture. Are other contacts of yours, the visualization of your previous display picture or something else.

  on my BlackBerry Curve 9320 normally I have a very good WiFi connection because my router is directly beside me. For two days, I have the problem that, when I'm on Wifi, it does not run any connection (not even the browser); on the mobile network, everything works fine.   Remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it. Then restart your wireless router.

  Recently my Torch 9800 has decided to show only 1/3 of the screen when I check messages or SMS. Is there a toolbar of the message locked in place 2/3 of the way to the top of the screen and nothing but white underneath.   Finally after a long dispute repair my flashlight, I decided to buy the 9320 curve, which I eventually did. Essentially, the bb is installed with BBM version 6.2. When I change my Dp it not turned to day, nor that I can view my DP friends. I heard that BBM 6.2 was such a problem, so is anyway to fix this or need to download the old version?

  problem solved. A reboot and my photos are starting to get the update. Some photo of my friends are not displayed. Maybe if they change the RFP then it will begin to update. In any case been solved

  Hi everyone - had my storm for about a week without problems, and then sddenly for some reason, the only view I can get to my e-mail applications is vertical.  When I turn the horizontal storm, nothing happens.  What is really strange is that I can get the horizontal display with all my other apps - but not with the e-mail.  Maybe somehow lock the vertical display in place?  I hate it.
