BlackBerry Smartphones first vs password synchronization

Hi, a problem during the first synchronization bbInformations / BB9800 torch. the password is recognized and accepted by the BB, but the same password entered for the BBS terminal is denied. I have 10 attempts, fortunately I can start over again by typing the password on the end it.
If there is something?, I'm interested. Thank you

The usual case in a situation like yours is the user is not actually enter characters they thought that they were entering.  Maybe they forgot the press the SHIFT or number key or little matter, and they think that a character is a number when it's a letter, or whatever.  And no matter the device because they make the same mistake and enter the correct password, even if it is not what they think it is.

Then they try and enter the password on the computer, what they think, that they are entered on the degice, except that it is different.

  • Sync gmail contacts OK blackBerry Smartphones, but can not synchronize Emails

    Dear Blackberry community!

I recently changed my contract mobile and kept my professional Blackberry Curve 9300.

I managed to configure gmail and synchronize contacts & the order of the day, but I can't seem to synchronize emails.

It seems to me that the old configuration blocking private Email-addresses is still active, but I don't know where and how to change.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Cheers, Inken

Hello and welcome to the community!

Of what you say, I read that you had BES enabled on your BB, you have separated from the company/what BES now, but your BB was not properly cleaned of it's political, that continues to limit the things. To remedy this, you perform a specific wiping of your BB as follows:

    1. First of all, review the link of my auto-sig about backups... this process will completely clean your BB and you have to start over.
    2. Once ready, follow this KB to clean your BB of the it policy:
      • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
    3. When / if you restore, DO NOT do a full restore, restore only those databases that are essential, especially to avoid those who have something to do with the company, BES, political, etc.. If you fail at this stage and all restore, you simply put it on your BB policy and be right where you started.

    Good luck!

  • Synchronization of calendar to blackBerry Smartphones. first of all to synchronize all elements, then the date range, then all the items; all previous deleted items

I work IT at my company.  My colleague got a blackberry storm.  We hung up and synced Outlook 2007 for the Blackberry.  Everything went correctly.

Initially, we had the synchronization schedule "all items". But after watching the parameters, we decided to only synchronize a range of dates.  We sync'd, but we didn't know that the blackberry removes anything outside the range of dates.  Rather than just update everything that falls in the range of dates.

For us he returned to "all items".  The Blackberry now tells Outlook to delete all the entries outside the range of dates.

HELP I'M SCREWED!  My colleague schedule is all messed up.  Can recover it software Blackberry, all these deleted items?

Or should I go to my backup and recover all its information?  I can do it, but that requires a lot more work.

If there is another position that helps out, please please direct me to it.  I'll keep looking...

    Scott

Well.  It becomes a problem. But first my solution:

I went to a backup and restore of the mailbox.  Appointments in the calendar have been copied in the calendar and sync whalla, it's done.

If this topic is made, however the problem is not.  The storm Blackebery was still deleting old appointments.  Then I learned about '' go go = Forever. ''

    We'll see how it goes.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Newbie question Outlook synchronization...

I know, I know you crackberry Masters must make fun of my basic question, but it drives me crazy.

I want to curve. I'll use it for personal and business email accounts. Work email is through MS Exchange. I can access my email using Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Our server does not have this fancy/expensive Blackberry Enterprise Software Solution.

Can I still sync my email to my Blackberry Wireless and untethered work? What are the downsides to not have the fancy software / expensive?

You'll be always my friend, if you can answer this fundamental question in simple terms.

    Hi anrobb!

You will be able to receive your email wireless without the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution (BES). You can use the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) to deliver your email. There are two ways this can be accomplished:

1-direct integration of your account Outlook Web Access (OWA). Here, you must create an BIS account and enter your information to OWA, such as the web address of the OWA server, your email address, mailbox name and password. BIS will use this information to analyze your mailbox for new messages at a time interval determined (basically every 15 minutes) and send it to all new mail he sees to your BlackBerry.

    2. create a hosted mailbox and set up a redirection rule. Most (if not all) carriers offer only a free hosted BlackBerry e-mail address when you have a BlackBerry plan. For example, a customer of Verizon could create an email [email protected]. E-mail messages that are sent to these hosted email addresses are pushed to the device, so they come almost in real time. Once you have set up, hosted email address you (or your IT staff) define a redirection rule in your mail server to forward a copy of all new messages to the hosted e-mail address. The next step would be to connect to your BIS account and modify the reply-to field to be your professional email address. This it will bring up that the emails sent from your BlackBerry come from your work email.

A difference in the use of the use of BIS on BES is that you cannot synchronize wireless your address book, calendar, notes and them tasks with BIS - you will need to connect to a computer. BES offers many other features as well, but I won't get it here.

    See you soon!

  • The Blackberry blackBerry Smartphones Reset account password

    Hello

I try to access my blackberry to App World account.  However, I can't remember my password or answer to the secret question.  is there another way to reset my password.

    Thanks in advance

It must be remembered the BlackBerryID password or secret answer to the question. Without either, you're stuck.
    Your choice is:
-Use a different e-mail account to create a new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to all apps purchased using the 'forgotten' first BlackBerryID, or)
-Find the initial email you have been sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID and there are a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on this, delete the account and then you can use that same e-mail to create a new account.
    Good luck.

  • Problem blackBerry Smartphones - validation of password hotmail

I was send and receive electronic mail hotmail to my 8310 smoothly last year, up until yesterday, I changed my password by e-mail.  I changed my password before, but this is the first time there was a problem.

Since yesterday, I could not access my account, and any attempt to validate through 'email settings' grew the "incorrect email address or password: Please check your email address and the password." The information provided is incorrect. "message.

I even changed my password again to see if the new password has been the problem, but no joy.

Can anyone help?  I browsed the forum and searched online every day, but none of the solutions I found working and my hotmail account was related to sync BlackBerry!

I managed to solve the problem, so I'm adding this to everybody in the same boat.

It seems that the main problem was that my hotmail password has been more than 11 characters - since it's the only thing I changed on the advice of technical support for hotmail.

Here is the email they sent me.  I didn't need to use all of this information.  Just enter my email address and the new (shorter) password hotmail, usename (my hotmail address) and as the server pop3.live.com.  The server seemed to be my main problem, but used with the shorter password, it worked fine.  After registering successfully, I got a message "ACTION REQUIRED: leave Messages on the server", but since I'm on hotmail on my PC and not through any third-party client IE. Outlook, I just ignore the message and mail very well received.

    Thanks to those who responded!

A blackberry allows the user to enter a password to 11 characters, so if the password is longer than 11 characters the blackberry doesn't let you connect to your e-mail, msn or messenger

    • On the BlackBerry Internet Service web site, on the page web settings, click e-mail accounts.
    • Under e-mail address, click on change.
    • In response to the field, enter an e-mail address.
    • Click Save.
    • Type the password of the e-mail address.
    • If necessary, click OK until the e-mail accounts is displayed.
    • Mail entering pop3.email.msn.com TO pop3.live.com
    • Mail out OF smtp.email.msn.com TO smtp.live.com
    • Uncheck the box "Connect with secure password"
    • The tab advanced,
    • Change the port number for the incoming (POP3) mail from 110 to 995
    • Check the two boxes indicating "this server requires a secure connection (SSL)".

  • BlackBerry smartphone keyboard forgot password! Help!

I recently bought a blackberry curve pink 9360 and I forgot my keyguard password! I'm sure I typed my password in correcly, but it won't work! If someone could tell me how get more trials of password, that would be great! I'm on my last test and I don't want all of my pictures deleted! I have my Olympic photos there, and eventually, I couldn't get rid of them! I don't think I have a problem, if nothing else had to be wiped! If someone could tell me what exactly is wiped on it if my last password attempt fails and wonder if if my micro sd card is also deleted. is it possible to receive my password via blackberry somehow! my phone is assured if that makes a difference! could someone explain it so I can understand it, because I do not understand some other peoples posts! Thank you!!

There is no way to reset or break a forgotten password.

If the photos are stored on the Micro SD move card before you run. Once you enter the incorrect password to return once more the phone will be be wiped by default back as if you bought only - you should be able to put the SD card in and your photos will be safe.

REF the password, if you have numbers in there make sure you press the ALT key - IE. If you have a password 1234 you should be by pressing Alt + 1, Alt + 2, Alt + 3, Alt + 4 - most people forget to press the ALT key, so in fact their password is Alt + 1, E, R, S

  • 9300 user - set up email - blackBerry Smartphones baffled - incorrect password error

I hope someone here can shed some light ofn this because I spent 3 weeks trying to solve and I'm still stuck after literally hours on the phone to the network provider and explore every possible potential cause.

About three weeks ago, I upgraded my Curve 9300 BB at 9380.  I copied settings using desktop software preconfigured and transferred to my new camera.  Applications reinstalled fine and I put five e-mail accounts, including 3 (business email) offered in a hosting account with Media Temple.  These all work very well and still do.

My old phone had to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and set all settings at default and follow the procedure for a new SIM card.  When we tried to put in place the enamel on the old device (9300) wouldn't giving the error message Impossible to verify the account contact email provider.  I am the administrator of the e-mail accounts so I know that the settings are correct., network provider resets all settings for email etc and account details BIS etc are all correct.  The e-mail account works through outlook and is accessible via webmail, and we tried changing password and even deleted and created a new e-mail account, but always the same problem - error message telling the user or incorrect password.

I hope that it was a problem with the settings of the old appliance (9300) we could identify and address but it seems not to be that now when I try to put in place a new e-mail account on my new camera (9380) I get the same problem!  User password error - when data are 100% correct and on a device that I have successfully implemented the same type of email account!

I'm completely puzzled and if anyone has or knows a similar problem and has information about this, or has managed to solve, I would like to hear that I've explored everything I can think of network hosts and email.

You must call your provider to find out if the 9300 is properly registered on their network and on behalf of SIM card in the device. They need to confirm the good BlackBerry data Plan on this account, it is not unusual for them wrongly not do or provide incorrect data plan.
