  Hi, I am currently reciving two notifications in my 'messages' folder when reciving an email.

  When I delete the duplicate message notifcation, it just says: 'delete'... and the first notifcation is said "on the mailbox & Pocket" or "on the handheld.

  When I try to call a number, my bb automatically dials + 5255 and then the number I have in my address book... Where can I change this setting for the phone dials only the number which is recorded in my address book? Without the codes...

  Press the menu button green OPTIONS - SMART DIALING check country code, I have mine set to unknown (I call abroad.) Yours is probably set to the + 5255.

  My 9330 has developed a new show.  When I make a call, the screen remains blue and the keyboard no longer works.  Voice call allows the call pass but I can't remove/save a message.  I did the hard reset and tried an update, or helped.  any ideas?

  1 have you done a recent backup of your Blackberry using the BlackBerry Desktop Software?

  2. If you pictures are stored on the card, you will be not should not lose them. Do you know?

  I recently got a BlackBerry Curve 8530. After having to speak on this subject 15 minutes on the phone started having hot, wifi is discontinued and theres no dowloads on it what so ever.   Here are a few tests that you can run to determine things...

  I recommend that you try to start in Safe Mode, which will remove the automatic enforcement of all 3rd party applications function and the module:

  • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens. You can also run these tests in normal mode and safe.
