Slow of blackBerry Smartphones running BB when to call or something to do.

Hello. When I try to do something, while the phone is in standby, it's "transformation" (the circular with the single arrow icon go in a clockwise direction) for a very long time from 30 "to 1 min. When the phone is ready, I checked, but not all the apps I left pending. Do you know what is the cause. It is embarrassing when I rush to call.

Your device can be face constraints of memory. Check the status of the available memory on your. Go to Options-> status.

Equipped with a traction battery device reset could solve the problem.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not make a call, but can receive calls

Hello! I BBCurve9380 and somehow it just stopped making the calls, but I can still receive. I don't know if it's on the changed settings but on what I read in other forums, it's on the it policy. I checked mine and it says BBFS1 [GTALKAP1] and WLM 2.1 [WLMAP01]. I've updated all my apps and my computer can read my phone just fine. When I try to make a call, it automatically disconnects. Any help would be appreciated.

In fact, you have a lot more work to do, in light of your acquisition method. Reference:

    • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

For step 3 stages of seller, you should replace it and it will remove unit COMPUTER policy:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

However, later, when you restore, DO NOT do a full restore. On the contrary, do only a selective restore of only those databases that you absolutely need (e.g., contacts, calendar, messages) and specifically avoid restore databases that have nothing to do with HIM, political, business or other similar things. If you restore those, you'll just be right back where you are now, as a full restore will conscientiously COMPUTER policy again on your device.

Note Please that I really have no idea if doing this will restore your ability to make calls... 100% of the information I have comes from what you have posted here. I'm guessing that the policy could be the cause of your problems, but I can't know that. No matter, since there is an IT strategy on board and you are not on BES, then you definitely want to get that deleted. But regarding if that will restore your ability to make calls, I have no way to predict the future... If something is the cause of this specific problem, then we'll have to deal with this - AFTER you remove the it policy so that we can be sure it does not hinder anything else.

    Good luck!

  • Speaker blackBerry Smartphones starts automatically on certain calls

For the reasons that I can't explain, the speaker turns on automatically when my wife calls for about 5 seconds and then returns to the normal mode.  I have absolutely no idea how this 'feature' has been enabled.

I can't find this option in the profiles/edit function.  I have an exception for my wife - and I am sure that the speaker phone option must be associated with this exception... but I know not where/how to turn off.

My phone is running V4.6.1.83, the Platform 3.0.0.41, Curve 8350i

    Thank you

    Welcome to the kjbrand forums

I don't know if you tried, but when your phone starts to 'Act' always try a battery pull first:
    1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
    2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
    3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

There should be no reason why the phone should go to the speaker on its own, and it sounds like a software problem. I hope that suits him!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to make / take calls on my BB Torch 9800

    Hi all

I am facing a weird problem with my phone today. I'm unable to make any calls or take calls on my phone.

When I call someone the call is connected to the other person but on speaker phone only and the person does not hear me.

When someone tries to call me, I am unable to take the call. I tried everything I can think but cannot take the call. Even hands-free is not helping here.

All other functions are fine. all keys work correctly. I am facing problem and take calls. Kindly help me out here. what I'll do.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones are unable to schedule call BB9700 OS-6

Since the upgrade to OS - 6 I can't find how to access the calendar while performing a call probably something simple... So simple I can't

Yes, it's something very simple. While you are on a call, press the menu key (the blackberry logo), scroll and select Home scree. then you get the calendar

  • My phone blackBerry Smartphones has a lock of business or something?

I bought a Blackberry 8830 we HAVE on ebay and they can't push the books of service to me because of some lock on the phone that a company put on? Is there a way THAT RIM can help me with this so I can use the Internet and e-mail and other applications on my phone?

Ouch... the pain of buying used. Here is a KB with some information for you:

KB05099 Steps to take before selling it, or after buying a used BlackBerry smartphone

Unfortunately, in your case, is that part of it... you need to remove the it policy which is latent on the device. Here are some procedures that may (or may not) work:

In all cases - wait that your BB will liquidate as fees and clean. This means that if you ever put anything on it, it will be lost.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

  • Problems of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones: Run Time Error when MS Outlook is applied

I just got the Curve 8330 and recorded the telephone and e-mail. I had an older Blackberry and my outlook 2003 address book and calendar synced perfectly using Desktop Manager. I installed the latest version supplied on cd-rom with the curve and the installation was successful. I then tried to set up sync and tried to apply the synchronization with ms outlook and that's when the problem occurred.

    1. I opened the Desktop Manager and clicked on sync.

2 click on the albums configuration tab

    3. I then clicked on configure synchronization.

    4 selected address book

    5. the next page listed available desktop applications and I chose MS Outlook

    6 then I select the two-way synchronization

    7. after clicking Next, I get this ERROR of EXECUTION: section of the Application is not based on files.

I tried to uninstall the Office Director and reinstalled from the blackberry website. Still, I got the same message. Then I found the link below and concluded that there are ducts that connect the Outlook for Office Manager and for some reason, there is an error that is there. I did not quite understand how to solve the problem of the information provided on the troubleshooting link. I could not add the link that has been interrupted or lost by installing the new Manger of office. The link I found is below and I was wondering if there was a way to manually bind the office and Outlook. Please provide a way that novice computer person can implement.

  • BlackBerry 8530 BlackBerry Smartphones gets hot when it comes to this topic.

I recently got a BlackBerry Curve 8530. After having to speak on this subject 15 minutes on the phone started having hot, wifi is discontinued and theres no dowloads on it what so ever. This could be a problem serious or - is this normal for this type of phone? My old Curve 8330 never got that way. Please answer this question then I can decide to send the phone in for a replacement.

    Hello

Here are a few tests that you can run to determine things...

I recommend that you try to start in Safe Mode, which will remove the automatic enforcement of all 3rd party applications function and the module:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens. You can also run these tests in normal mode and safe.

Good luck and let us know!
