BlackBerry Z10 Contacts not MS Exchange Active Sync synchronize

I have set up my work account and receive e-mails and calendar updated as well. However, my contacts have not been downloaded. I have set the emails, contacts and calendar to sync with this account. It is based on a corporate system of gmail. Any suggestions?

If this is not the case, how can I transfer my contacts from my old bold 9900 to the new z10 until such a time that I can sync with my company bes through active sync server.

    Hello everyone, its my first post so if this is in the wrong section, or this problem has already been resolved, kindly link me to the correct message.

    I have my blackberry z10 not too long, probably 2 months, and as a first step, the battery was not serious. A full charge is 100%. There was 1 opportunity where I used it until the battery was completely hard and off the unit its own.

    He warned me 10% left and stops immediately after that. Now I'll have the problem of it not charging up to 100%. He shows me the icon of "lightning" up to about 75% where it stops and shows me the '=' sign as in fully charged or not charging.

    LEAVE it plugged into the wall charger (not USB > PC charger) for half an hour.

    With the charger plugged, remove the battey a minute then reinsert it.

    This will often reset the battery on the device reading to the actual battery charge.

    I fight for the list of my contacts in the Contacts app for all my accounts. I'm new to BB OS10 terminology, so please be patient with me - I try my best to explain my problem in detail.

    * contacts does not show for the email on gmail/Google account:

    First time I put in place, he read contacts perfectly (I know, BB got the Google contacts, because this is the only way that they could be received).     I'm stuck. I don't see any contact under "e-mail", LinkedIn, and Facebook in the Contacts application. The only possible solution I see now is reboot my BB and start with putting in place. That's not much, but I want to save me a wrong, if there were an easy solution to this.

    It seems to me something is not connected, as your Gmail account is not configured to synchronize contacts.

    As perhaps they did once, but no more.

    I would say that you go to settings > accounts and delete your gmail account, restart the device and add this account again. You should see (and this varies with different variants of Gmail accounts) the ability to sync the contacts (and calendar).

    But lighten your local contacts to reproduce the gmail contacts, you'll also need clear all local contacts again, I hope it will work this time. Settings > accounts > tap the three points more > clear local Contacts.

    I have a user who has two calendars that they manage, their staff and a timetable for its students. I need to find a way to get the two accounts on the phone. At the moment when to add synchronization active account on the device, indicates only the default calendar. I tried to create another Exchange of account and adding it to the phone. This adds the emails and contacts (that do not exist on the student schedule), but does not add the calendar. If someone has had a bit of luck, or have any suggestions? My only other option at this point I think is to publish the calendar of the student to a WebDAV server, and then set a Gmail to sync and then add this calendar as its default gmail calendar.

    For those having problems with the first synchronization of time schedules, I had this problem with one of my users. What I did to solve the problem, it was open the Outlook Web Access users page and go to Options--> Mobile Devices--> and remove just Android.

    Once this is done, remove the account from the accounts of the phone section, and then add again. I think that a lot of people get popped up by mobile devices in Outlook Web Access option.

    Touchdown are strictly an Android app phone. There is no required installation at server end.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Contacts in the process of disappearance

    I don't know what is happening, but I noticed recently that many of my contacts are not found. It is really strange because some of these contacts are calling on a regular basis.

    Try going into settings > accounts and disable sync Contacts. Save the settings. Give it a few minutes and then turn it back on Contacts sync. See if they have all the sync back.

    If this still does not work then I suggest posting in the thread of Microsoft I posted. Again, this is not a problem of BlackBerry.

    I'm trying to set up my e-mail account on a Z10 using Exchange ActiveSync. Setting up the same account on a Samsung Galaxy S3 works perfectly well.

    When I use the normal installation procedure, I enter my e-mail address and password and get back this:

    Expected, delimiter: line 1 122 (122 char) column

    If I pass by "Advanced", the error message is the same, except for the number 194 instead of 122.

    The account in question is an Office 365 E3, and I would avoid using BBCS (if it works even with OS 10 devices; there are conflicting reports on the net).

    I asked the carrier, I got the phone, and they said they couldn't help because it wasn't their e-mail account. I asked Microsoft and they told me they couldn't help because it was a problem of BlackBerry. I asked BlackBerry, and they have not yet responded.

    Can anyone help?

    (By the way, why is there an error message from a JSON reader in the standard library of Python concerned with creating a Exchange account? Because that's when the message comes. Microsoft is not known for their enthusiastic embrace of JSON, they love with XML).

    Problem solved. I consider the problem with security and limit myself to the waves of suggestions, but since that alone would suffice to guess the problem, why bother?

    The error occurred because my password contained double a quotation mark character. Somewhere in the account of the Z10 configuration procedure, something assembles a JSON structure, among other things, the password entered by the user. This password is placed in a quoted string, but the quotes inside it are not escaped. When the structure is passed to the next step, it is not parsed, and the error occurs.

    I wonder why I seem to be the first user to have this problem.

    TL; Dr: have no quote characters in your password.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Contacts unsaved?

    I did a complete backup of my Z10 using the BB link.

    Restored from my backup to link aid and now two thirds of my contacts have disappeared.

    I wonder if the full backup, I've done was not able to capture all my contacts I tried restore several times, often to restart my Mac and my Z10. I reinstalled BB connection on my Mac but still no dice.

    Nevermind, syncing with my mac contacts recovered the missing contacts.

    Why the link is so terrible? I will devote energy to reorganize completely a perfectly functional and calendar friendly user looks like a loss compared to the attachment link.

    Apart form do not back up my contacts effectively it also causes multiple duplicates of some contacts. There is a contact I have 18 times. I mean honestly...

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not reconcile messages when Sync

    I can't get my brand new Blackberry Curve 8330 and Outlook to reconcile messages when I sync.  Everything else (tasks, calendar, Contacts, etc) synchronize but not my e-mail messages.  As a test, I used my Blackberry to send an e-mail to test one of my e-mail addresses to another.  I received the message on my Blackberry and removed.  When I got home I connected my Blackberry on my computer and synchronized, but the message was always in my Outlook Inbox (in other words, that it had not been deleted), and there was no message sent in the sent box.

    Setting my Blackberry e-mail indicates Wireless reconcile as 'On '.  The problem is maybe that my home office is in a dead zone.  But if my Blackberry is connected to my computer, why should this serious?

    When I go to Desktop Manager and click Synchornize, "Balancing the Messages" box does not seem to be verified, but the program won't let me check it out.  Can someone help me?

    You will receive a verification email. Then go to email settings and send service directories.
    Some models like the Curve 8330 and Pearl require connecting carriers BIS site
    via a PC. You will receive an email by account. a test to see if the problem is resolved.

  • BlackBerry Z10 cannot connect to Exchange via Activesync

    I was happy enough getting my hands on the new BB 10 but I was unable to connect to our Enterprise Server Exchange ActiveSync.  We have had absolutely no problems with the iPhones.

    I was however able to get another employee connected.  When I try to connect using the same parameters as the employee who can connect, I get the error, "there was an unexpected error and the operation has been cancelled".  I created in Exchange to the Test account and am able to connect through this user.

    I was on our 5 BES with my old camera but just removed and still does not work (grasp at straws). Any ideas what would be different in my Exchange account which does not allow my user to work?

    Found the problem and fixed. I can now connect.  I had to check the box "Include the inharitable of the parent of this object permissions" in Active Directory.  It has now been verified.
