• BlackBerry Z10 can I create a Blackberry ID using the same email address, but with a different password?

  I use 2 phones and I am ready to create a new blackberry on the 2nd ID, but it requires an email address and I don't have that one email address that I use for everything. I want to know if it is possible to create a new BBID with the same e-mail address but different password. The main thing is I want both phones to be active and fully functional, but I don't have a single address email and I prefer not to create another email address, because I love all of my emails in one place rather then having 2 email addresses. I don't want any phone be disabled. I do not fear one of the BBM is turned off, as long as at least one works. Both phones are a Blackberry Curve 9320 and a Blackberry z10, which is one waiting to be activated.

  No this is not possible, the e-mail address you used your BBID, is associated with the device that you use it on. It is also the BBID username. And cannot be used on another device, no matter that there is a different password.

  I suggest that you create a new e-mail account, just for the sole purpose of using it as a BBID.

  Hi, I recently bought a new Blackberry Z10 camera. I started setting up. I wanted to create a Blackberry user ID if I entered an email address that I use frequently. I got an error message stating that the e-mail address is already in use. I thought that I never used a Blackberry ID/product/service forward. I couldn't understand why this email address was used, then after you have re-entered it a few times I decided to try using another email address that I use as often. I put the BBID using another email address, however I have not confirmed it yet. A few hours later, I realized why Blackberry gave me an error message on the first email address, I tried to use. On two or three years I created BBM on my Iphone with a Blackberry ID for text messaging. I used a couple of times and didn't use it thereafter. The next day I went in my email account to see the email confirmation for the BBID I put in place a few days ago. Rather than confirm the BBID, I saw an option: If you did not create or do not recognize this account, remove this BlackBerry ID. Which is what I did. I deleted it. Because I didn't use this BBID. Then I tried to connect the Z10 with the BBID, I created three years ago (before logon on the phone I have to reset my password on the site Web of Blackberry). I could not log in with the old BBID, I created while all the information is correct (I can log on to the Web from Blackberry site, see my profile and settings). The phone tell me the username and password is wrong when I click on the button check that it is just for the opening session with my information screen. The problem is that the phone keeps the profile settings and e-mail address since when I put in place a few days ago and I can't get rid of it, because it is associated with the phone. I read on the forum somewhere, that, in order to get rid of a BBID who is on the phone, I would need to do a reset and community support of Blackberry. Not sure if this is true. The issue is when I try to do that, I have to enter the password that I deleted so I'm stuck BBID. Don't know what to do. I'm all new to Blackberry and would appreciate any support you could give me to solve this issue.

  Indeed, this information is true. The only way to remove the association between a device and a BBID must WIPE the device. But... you've discovered...

  This means that the device must execute the last branch 10.3.2.xxxx of the operating system, which includes the anti-theft function required by the Government, which requires that before a device is deleted, the anti-theft function BBProtect be first to be defeated before the wipe. Without this step, after the wipe, the same BBID is required (to prevent a thief using the device at all).

  During the drive, I have a kit hands free bluetooth (speaker jabra) and I have the audio output taken mini plugged into my car for audio (stereo / music).

  The Blackberry music gateway solves this problem (kind of) works better... when the two jabra or any other headset device is connected and the music gateway is connected it muffles call correctly and works correctly...

  The new problem is introduced only if you have a headset (bluetooth or hands-free headset) that also supports music services. (The two compete to connect to theses services)

  I suggest buying a hands-free device that does not support music services (only a helmet) and then you should not meet for the problem below

  Regarding the error you get now, you must reload your OS.

  Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

  Carefully note the requirement in the HelpBlog I provided you above... you must use the exact same BBID as was on the device when you score as stolen.

  Be aware of the risks of 10.3.2 however... There are two things to worry about. First of all, be 100% sure that you know your BBID identifiers... If you do not, you may make your useless device to anyone, including yourself. Second, once you move to 10.3.2, you cannot fall back to 10.3.1 or earlier, by any medium (for example, even the unofficial AutoLoaders can not overcome this restriction anti-secours).

  Just taken delivery of my new Z10. My current phone is a 9800 which I intend to continue to use occasionally. IE working on site or on the go on vacation where it has the potential to be broken or stolen. I've seen things of variuos saying that the new phone will have a new BBID associated with it and other information on the sites of blackberries saying that you can use the same BBID on multiple devices.

  Can anyone confirm that I need to do when setting up my new phone and any problems that arise to use an ID on a BB10 and BB6 OS phone?

  I am also aware that BB want to use BIS on the BB10 platform so that has on my 9800 I lose when I switch to the Z10, if I had to use the same Sim Card in the old phone?

  The main disadvantage is that your BBMessenger should be used on a device or another, not both at the same time... email and apps are ok.

  This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.

• BlackBerry Z10 icons disappear

  As soon as I open a folder once, remove the icons bottom three (telephone, search and camera). They appear only after a reboot again.

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs. If but it does not help, then please try again increase the stage 4 time to 2 hours and possibly longer than 4-5 hours waiting.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

  my blackberry z10 is shut down automatically and it opens when I press the power button, sometimes it is tuning out and tuning on automatically it's ancestral 1 - 2 times load at the same time. I also have factory reset it, the problem is always the same. then you can tell me what should I do?

  Fold a small piece of paper and place it along the top of the battery (at the top, opposite the end with the contacts). See the image below where are the Red arrows.

  Try a few days and see if restarts persists.

  On my old blackberry, I was able to set up a different number of vibration for my different e-mail account so I would know right away, who represent the email was on.  Is it possible to do the same thing on the Z10?

• BlackBerry Z10 impossible access contacts or messages and the non-existent hub

  I got a Z10 now and during the installation I noticed that if I clicked on the "contacts" or "text messages'icons are not." I thought when I transferred all the data from my old divide that would correct itself, but it does not.

  None of my contacts or forwarded messages, and I Redid the transfer twice. My call log was transferred, but all entries are number only, no names. And I can't seem to be able to add these numbers to my contacts. I can't even enter the contacts and enter all my previous Info manually.

  I have no hub blackberry either and I asked the people who are in the same room to send me messages but I don't get them. I tried to reboot the device several times but nothing moves. I seem to be able to BBM surveys send, but not receive them.

  Seems that the only thing I can do is to make and receive calls and use the internet browser.

  Can any ideas on how I fix? I will go back to the store I had the phone of the future, but really looking for some information at this time if possible.

  Have you made software updates on your BlackBerry Z10? If this is not the case, there may be one available. You can do the update through the BlackBerry Link with your device, or by going to settings > software updates on the device itself.

• BlackBerry Z10 memory only 1 GB

  I had problems with my Blackberry Z10 STL100 3. The software 10.3.1.1779 and OS 10.3.1.2576.

  Problems include apps does not (open, minimize and then goes blank)-temporarily resolve only after I reload. I was able to get my hands on a second Z10 Blackberry with the same model as mine. I note that while my phone has a memory of 1 GB the other has a 2 GB - I think that is my problem. Is there anything I can do to increase my memory? And why my phone would have only 1 GB when I check my usage I have that 83.7 MB of free space, and this is not adequate to use my phone. FYI - in recent times II gave to the plant, has deleted all the apps that were not included in the re - install etc. That did not help.

  Yes, and I think that those who were supposed to be returned to the BlackBerry. Probably a little late for that now!
