BlackBerry Z10 Saving received e-mail messages on POP3

Is that someone who knows how I can keep all messages received from a POP 3 account on the device after their removal on the server?

I would appreciate an answer, because I think it's an important issue for those who want direct access to the emails received, even after their removal on the server.

Thank you!

Hello

I don't have any built-in accounts like POP (no need for such a configuration old more), but even before BB10, email POP accounts would reconcile deleted items on the server until the BB (remove from the BB). Via BIS, could be defeated this function... but now there is no more BIS... it's all about the ActiveSync device now, and if you don't see a setting in your account settings for this account which would allow you to control it, then it is not available.

There was a lot of discussion on many issues related to email delivery, retention and capacity ' Delete on '... it is understood here that BB is currently looking into these features and might well apply some of them in future versions of OS. But, when they cannot be firmly served.

For now, you must live within the restriction that the device and the server are intended to be one replica of the other, reconcile any changes made on one of the other.

Good luck!

This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones has stopped receiving e-mail messages

I have a Blackberry Curve 8300 and my ISP is earthlink.net. Everything works fine until today, when I stopped to receive e-mails on my Blackberry. I just checked, and I can send messages very well, of course, but do not receive them.

Hmmm... I suggest a number of things. First of all, a restart:

With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.

If that fails, then try to send your service books:

  • BlackBerry Z10 impossible access contacts or messages and the non-existent hub

I got a Z10 now and during the installation I noticed that if I clicked on the "contacts" or "text messages'icons are not." I thought when I transferred all the data from my old divide that would correct itself, but it does not.

None of my contacts or forwarded messages, and I Redid the transfer twice. My call log was transferred, but all entries are number only, no names. And I can't seem to be able to add these numbers to my contacts. I can't even enter the contacts and enter all my previous Info manually.

I have no hub blackberry either and I asked the people who are in the same room to send me messages but I don't get them. I tried to reboot the device several times but nothing moves. I seem to be able to BBM surveys send, but not receive them.

Seems that the only thing I can do is to make and receive calls and use the internet browser.

Can any ideas on how I fix? I will go back to the store I had the phone of the future, but really looking for some information at this time if possible.

    Thank you.

Hi G and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums!

Have you made software updates on your BlackBerry Z10? If this is not the case, there may be one available. You can do the update through the BlackBerry Link with your device, or by going to settings > software updates on the device itself.

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones filtered junk e-mail message alert tone

    Hello

I wonder if someone is able to solve a problem I have.

I downloaded Antair spam filter so that I'm not bothered by unwanted emails. The problem I find is that my Blackberry still sounds the alert message tone, even if incoming spam is filtered. It goes against the object that I'm always bothered by spam and I have to check if the e-mail is legitimate.

Is it possible to not have the alert tone if the message is spam?

    Thank you very much

    Photobloke

Currently, the order of action is:

    1. someone sends an email to you
    2. your email provider receives e-mail
    3. your email provider treats the junk e-mail filtering and deleting
    4. BIS sees that there is an email
    5. BIS delivers email on your device
    6. your device receives email and treats the notification
    7. Antair detects you have received an email and spam filtering and the removal of the process

so no, it is not possible for you both:

    • receive a notification when Antair considers that it is not spam
    • receives notification when Antair believes that it is a spam
  • BlackBerry Z10 problem receiving SMS from some people

I don't receive SMS from my friend and my mother. I live in Central Europe and use Vodafone. My mother and a friend living in England and use Orange. I do not receive their SMS for me, but they receive mine. My wife also has Vodafone, but she receives the text Message from my mother. I get the other England SMS with no problems. Each operator claims the fault must be on the other side, but I don't think that one is to blame, because my wife receives TEXT messages on his phone Samsung with the same operator as I. I think that the problem must be my Z10 BB, but I can't find the question. I read on a forum that I have to do a security sweep, which I did, but it did not help. Anyone know what could be the problem and how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

Give what you describe coupled with the actions you have already taken, I could deduce that the problem is not your device, but one of the carriers concerned. As such, you would have to persist with them.

However, another way to test would be to put your SIM in another device and see if you can receive SMS messages. If so, then you might want to deepen if your device has a COMPUTER policy on board... If not, it is possible that interferes with this feature. But, if this is the case and that you're on BES, then nothing you can do, but in order to talk to your BES admins. If you are not on BES and this is the case, then you will need to do a reset to ResetToFactory via the LINK.

  • BlackBerry smartphones automatically receive e-mails - never ceased to function

My BB has ceased to receive emails automatically.   I need to disable the connection and restart to see the "arrows" and receive e-mails.  Very frustrating.  I get emails on my computer and as I say, they stopped coming to my BB automatically on their own.  I'm not a business client - do not have a company server or THIS Department.  I'm on my own.

I have no idea why this is happening. Maybe I've changed or has changed a setting somewhere, but I have no idea and can't find an answer to this anywhere.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Several things could happen... If you have changed the settings in ENCORE? If this isn't the case, then try these things:

    (1) with market, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    (2) registry of the THS:

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (3) refer the Service directories:

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

If, after 15 minutes or so e-mails still do not come (remember to send yourself a test so there will really be a 'new' email), then delete and re-create the BIS conduit for this e-mail account would be your next step.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I receive the same message twice on my BB

I have a blackberry tour 9630 with Verizon wireless.  I use this for work and it is linked with microsoft outlook 2007 to receive e-mails from work.  When I responded to an email on my work computer I receive the original e-mail a second time on my blackberry.  I know that the problem is not specific model blackberry, as it happens with others from my friends who have a different model blackberry that I do.  The problem may be something in microsoft outlook, I have no idea.  Someone has suggestions to no longer receive emails duplicate?  Thank you!

If you have co-workers with the same problem and using different devices, maybe that's a problem aside server. The best way to check is the following:

    1. open one of the duplicate emails

    2. press and hold down the ALT key and type "V I E W.

    3. scroll up and see you with a REFID field. (Copy this number)

    4. open another email in double.

    5. press and hold down the ALT key and type "V I E W.

    6. scroll up and see you with a REFID field. (Copy this number)

If the numbers are different, it will be a server problem. What happens, is when you reply to an e-mail, the server changes the ID for that email.

    I hope this helps.

  • I can't send or receive e-mail messages via Outlook Express.

I looked at some of the answers to other peoples questions and they do not help me.  I talked to my e-mail service provider and they tell me that the problem is in Outlook Express.  I want to solve this problem because I prefer to use Outlook Express to access and send e-mail messages.

You specify what you have tried or what the problems are or what answers you looked to your situation.  None of us is clairvoyant, so some details would have us understand your situation.

Search the antivirus interference with your e-mail account (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) disable any analysis of e-mail software antivirus and then remove your e-mail account, close and reopen OE and then add your e-mail account back again.  Also, check if you have the possibility, that the webmail access works very well to make sure that you have the right user name and password and that email servers are not problems.

If this is not helping, so be specific in what concerns what isn't working and what error messages you download.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send or receive e-mail messages

Cannot receive or send emails on blackberry - message reads "eception exception DSSMA (5): 2 invalid state.

OK the email on laptop - how I grind

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Copied spam my address book so that I wasn't using email

I use Windows XP and Outlook Express 6.  Recently, while I was on the Net, but not by e-mail, spam has been received and sent himself to a lot of people in my address book under my own name and e-mail address.  He led "this kit changed my life", and it seems to research at various forums of discussion it has been around for several months, always with various English misspelled and poorly punctuated texts with without capital letters and a hyperlink to sites with names of different people.  I changed my e-mail address and password in a day, but my contacts has often received several versions of spam in the coming days.  My computer has been professionally checked and has no infection, and I thought that I was sufficiently protected by AVG Internet Security 2012 and my ISP (BT).  I hope that my new email address is more difficult to discover by chance, but is it possible that I can avoid this kind of thing does not happen?  For the moment, I completely emptied my address book and print on screenprints, which is a nuisance, but at least there is nothing to hack.  It is obvious that the text was spam when I opened then Outlook Express, because there were several notices referring to obsolete addresses NDR spam itself, I have the above would be deleted immediately if I had known, he had come, because it was so obvious, being on a scheme to get rich quickly and terrible English and sender's name was a pretty ridiculous (which I forgot in my haste of) delete spam).

  • Windows Live Mail not send or receive e-mail messages from a Hotmail account

I hope that this has not been answered previously, I searched the site for answers, but nothing helped.

    Quick description of the problem:

As a result of an impending change of internet service provider & lose the long date E-mail address associated with the supplier, thought that it is appropriate to create a Hotmail account to avoid losing another email address in the future.

Windows Live Mail 2012 is not playing ball, but when you add the Hotmail account details that have been set up, I get an error message which is: -.

Can't send or receive messages for the Hotmail account (NRaccts).

    Server error: 3219
    Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x8DE00005

I use Windows 7 Professional & have not had any problems before with Windows live mail.

I note that a new Hotmail folder has been configured in Windows Live Mail & when I click on I see a message that says that "Windows live mail is synchronize the accounts.»  Check back in a few minutes"However this updates never & when I press send/receive I get the above error message.

Would appreciate any assistance with this question please.

    Thank you

I assume you have an hotmail/outlook/live email address.

Microsoft migrates all users to a different format.  WLM can be used, but may not be used in 'delta-sync '.  It must be used via IMAP.

You must have the latest version of WLM

You must remove the current account (after the registration of your data) and reinstall using IMAP

    IMAP for PC

    Server of incoming IMAP mail

    IMAP - mail.outlook.com
Server port for incoming IMAP mail: 993; Encryption: SSL

    Outgoing mail SMTP server

    SMTP - mail.outlook.com
Outgoing SMTP mail server port: 587; Encryption: SSL (TLS)

    Server requires authentication (THE)

    For more information go here

    IMAP for MAC

Outlook.com does support IMAP and SMTP.

    Incoming server:
    IMAP: imap - mail.outlook.com
    Port: 993
    Encrypted connection: SSL
    Outgoing server:
    SMTP: smtp - mail.outlook.com
    Port: 25 or 587
    Encrypted connection: TLS
    Username: your username
    Password: your password
This does not work on mac os x mail unless you disable the pop in your first outlook.com account. If you have mac os x mail and you do not disable the pop in your outlook.com account first, mail will be automatically set up pop and smtp.

What is the wastebasket on the Z10 for? Erased messages do not seem to go either?

I was confirmed by Blackberry, there will be a software update to register to leave a message on the server. BlackBerry cannot give any date, but only that it is in development.
