Qosmio G10-137: blue screen after re-install using Recovery CD
Hi all
just got my qosmio G10-137 earlier this week after being under repair since the beginning of the month of January! Guys made the repair found no better then install the Dutch version of the operating system. I don't like this, then I took out my recovery CD and began the recovery. Everything works fine and I am asked to remove the media and reboot my PC.
This beautiful laptop to start early and... Blue screen of death. Restarts, wonder how to restart... count up to normal reboot... BSOD... restarts, wonder how... I choose "Safe Mode"... BSOD... I choose the mode safe mode with prompt... the system.ini file is missing!
It seems that the recovery CD is bogus.
If someone has encountered this? Does anyone have any resolution?
Kind regards

Hello
It s very strange because the recovery CD was tested and install several times. It should work without any problems.
I put t know where you come from, but the service partner should install the Windows operating system in the same language. In this case, if you bought the device in Dutch the recovery CD and the OS are in the Dutch language.
Please note that you must use the same recovery CD that came with the device. Another recovery CD will not work.
What you can do is to test the unit with an original CD of Microsoft Windows. It would be very interesting to know if the blue screen appears with the original Windows. -

I have my computer on now with all updates but these three... (kb970653) (KB972036) (kb973879)
What should I do now? Where can I report this to Windows? or when I know that it is safe to download new updates?
Person is not one of the three that actually caused the problem? (im not really want to try an any of them again... lol)

my system is the 3000 N200 0769 - BDG (T5250, Intel X 3100) with 4 GB of RAM and Windows XP Professional. I know that this laptop is not designed for games, but it should not crash, if I want to play something.
So far, I tried HL2 and Trackmania Nations Forever. Both games run under low or good enough way of details, but I get a blue screen after a few minutes.
I installed the latest graphics drivers from Intel and all my other drivers are up to date. BIOS version: 68ET26WW
I have not yet met problems with other programs. Thanks for help

Get windows error blue screen after installation Service
I'm getting error " PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA_ (nischifk.sys)" blue screen after installing the VISION acquisition software in my OS Windows 10.
I tried to install GO twice and got the same error.
Awating for your valuable review
Hi piZviZ,
Sorry to hear about installation problems going TO that appeal to you. I guess you use going TO February 2014 or slightly earlier - can you confirm? There was a problem with one of the components, NEITHER FlexRIO going to understand which caused this exact problem on systems with a UEFI BIOS. We have since fixed the problem. If that were the problem, here are a few options:
(1) install GO without Support IMAQ i/o for all cards of the R series (1473R, 8237R, etc.). This means that the affected FlexRIO component will not be installed.
(2) update to a newer version of GO - I think that going TO August 2014 f1 shoots in the FlexRIO patched component that could solve the problem. If you choose to upgrade, I would recommend just upgrading to the last GO, if you are capable of: going TO August 2015 f1
(3) keep the version of going TO you and patch the component FlexRIO: How can I get a blue screen after installation OR FlexRIO 13.1?, NI FlexRIO 13.2.0 Patch détails
I recommend just update to the latest going TO if possible.
Kind regards

Blue screen after installation KB2393802 / KB890830
Windows 7 Ultimate
I received today a handful of updates. He finished in a blue screen after reboot. Only with the restoration of the point system that I was able to start in the normal way of restoration. I installed every update one by one and was able to isolate the problem. Each of these two updates (KB2393802/KB890830) which brings back me to the blue screen. I also tried to download and install these updates manually, but had no success.
My impression is also that other side to this problem if you for example search KB2393802 on google.
Is it a known Microsoft issue and if there is a fix available for this?
Any hint is appreciated.
Cheers, mikeych
Hello. Has been able to solve the problem. Update some hardware (e.g. video) drivers and the system once again stable. No more appeart to blue screen after installing the MS updates again.

Hello
Certainly Support Dell help you change things anymore they can claim it was something

http://support.Dell.com/Dell forums
http://en.community.Dell.com/forums/My thoughts are that it is a driver problem. Try to update your drivers, and then stop the updated driver in Windows Updates.
-----------------------------------------
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.
Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. Can anyone help?
Hi Jaycee,
Blue screen errors can occur if a problem causes Windows 7 to stop or restart unexpectedly. You might see a message that says: "Windows was arrested to avoid damaging your computer."
These errors can be caused by hardware and software issues, and it can be difficult to solve the problem. The following methods and tools can often help get Windows running again.
I suggest you remove all external devices except the keyboard and mouse and check if it helps.
Please follow the methods and the update below us on the State of the question.
Resolve stop (blue screen) error in Windows 7:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-GB/Windows7/resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7
Note: When you restore the system to a previous state, programs and updates installed later will be deleted.
Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.
Warning: Before performing a reinstallation of Windows 7, should be prepared for the worst scenarios that led to your existing data on your computer being deleted. These data include data personal, settings, information about the hardware and software drivers. In case of a worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall all the programs. Make sure that you back up personal data to disks or other external storage devices before you reinstall the operating system.
You can also download the last dump file so that we are able to help you. C:\windows\Minidump
You can use Windows Explorer and copy the dump files to your desktop or your personal documents folder. Then download them to your Sky Drive folder.
If you are not able to find the dump file, and then check if it has been activated. To so proceed as follows:
a. click Start, point to settingsand then click on Panel.
b. double-click on System.
c. click on the Advanced tab and then click settings under start-up and recovery.
d. in the Write debugging information list, click on image partial memory (64 KB).
For reference:
Send a copy of your dump file in a shared file on your disc of sky with a link here.

8530p blue screen after the awakening of the mode standby.
Hello.
Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit. (EDITED)
A user has a problem as his computer blue screens after he was awakened to "sleep" mode and the other thing is this problem is intermittent.
The error message I saw said that it was a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP error message is 0x0000007A and the second parameter was 0xC000009D.
According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559211 (v = vs. 85) .aspx this type of error indicates - "0xC000009D or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED, indicates defective wiring or in bulk, termination or that the controller does not see the hard drive."
Hard disk, I ran the tests integrated in the BIOS, online tool check the system of HP for laptop PC (http://h20239.www2.hp.com/techcenter/HP_SystemCheck/hp_syscheck.htm) and same Seagates own Seatool because there is a Seagate drive in the machine. All these tests said nothing about a problem with the hard drive.
The online tool, said there is no update available on the BIOS drivers.
I even had the user to remove the hard drive and put it back to make sure he wasn't a wire loose, bad connection or something like that.
I phoned helpdesk of HP where I live and I told him this and he said that it is most likely a software problem.
So so I need help to find out what software might be behind this error.
I can't provide shocks either, given the error and blue screen also says "dump of physical memory failed with status 0xC0000010.".
So is it a known software that could be the cause of these problems?
EDIT: As pointed out by erico, I forgot the information about this operating system. That's why I added this information at the top of my first post.
Sorry I have not responded earlier.
It seems that the problem is solved since the user had no blue screens for over a week now.
The solution was quite simple: reinstall on a new hard drive, even if each test drive, I ran on the subject, said the old drive was ok. This includes BIOS integrated HP and test online, chkdsk in Windows 7 and Seagate tool own Seatool.
Best regards
Ljungan.

Blue screen when you install Windows XP on Touchsmart tx2z with pre-installed Windows 7
I use the Tablet for a month or two, and I found Win 7 not this practice. I then tried to install XP (I used a SP3 disk at startup of the system), but the computer shows blue screen after loading some files and would not start the installation program.
