BlueScreen 0x09F BSOD during hibernation
Hello world
I am constantly a BSOD when entering the hibernation. There seems to be some kind of driver issue, but I'm not able to identify that one is causing failure.
I downloaded the Minidumpfile here:

W500 freezes during hibernation and standby
I have a W500 with XP Pro. Not so long ago, it started to freeze during hibernation and the day before.
Any ideas? Thank you!
I made a number of updates and I suspect it is the Bluetooth driver that does not allow to happen.
It seems to be ok now.
Thank you all for the replies!

During Hibernation battery drain
Battery of my PC laptop Lenovo X61s (Vista Business) drains approximately 5-8% during hibernation (about 8 hours).
Lenovo has confirmed the battery drain and sent me a patch. However, he has not recently, after some Vista/Lenovo updates.
When I bought the PC, the battery drain did not. The problem appeared after some Vista/Lenovo updates. The only workarounds are:
1. remove the battery for a brief second and reattach.
2. remove the AC adapter before hibernation.
3. use Shutdown instead of Hibernation.
4. do not install updates/patches after complete reinstallation of Vista. The battery drain issue seems to affect other Lenovo, Dell and other brands as models. I think the problem has to do with Vista and all the patches. Does anyone have a solution?
Hi all
battery drain can be caused by a number of reasons. Most of them is meant to be like this (ability to Wake-on-lan, wake-up regular tasks, hybrid sleep, etc.). Others are "bugs", they are not supposed to use the power during hibernation. Trying to eliminate battery drain, ALL possible factors must be addressed, otherwise drain may still be the case.
If there is no flow during hibernation on battery power or hibernation and briefly put (and re-insertion) the battery later, the High Definition Audio Controller is most likely the culprit. Applying the fix mentioned above should solve the problem.
If there are brains, then you must look in all other possible causes first. The High Definition Audio Controller can still be selected feeding when hibernation while that looted and do not remove the battery by the suite, but you will be only once all other causes have been eliminated (and at least one will be the case). In rare cases, a bad battery will be the reason.
Please see the following thread and those related to it in order to check most of the other causes of energy during hibernation:

Blue screen error during hibernation
Hey all. I've looked through the forums and cannot find a solution to what I saw. I have a home network that consists of my main office directly connected to my internet cable and two laptop computers HP connected by wifi. My House has some dead spots, so I also have a wifi extender to cover the areas. This configuration worked wonderfully for a few years. A few days ago, I had my modem/router set to level of my ISP (Rogers cable - I live in the Canada). Since this new modem/router has been installed two laptops connected via wifi constantly crushing when they go in the hibernation. To clarify, two laptops put in standby mode after 15 minutes, then hibernate after 30 minutes. During the previous day, everything works normally, however, when the minute 30 mark hits they both make this little thing where they light up for about 20 seconds to prepare mode put into hibernation, and then they will switch off. Since the new modem/router has been installed when they light for 20 seconds to prepare for hibernation they freeze... two of them. They remain in a frozen for about 10 minutes, then they are back the Blue error screen. After reboot, I get the standard "your computer shut down unexpectedly" check for solutions box. The solution calls for not knowing what the problem is exactly, but it has something to do with wireless networks. Don't know what it could be that the ONLY thing that has changed in my house is the new and improved modem/router I got. After looking through the forums I've done several options as: checked several times, the sfc/scannow memory, full system virus scans and rootkit scanning, update drivers, etc... All checked like normal, functional and up-to-date. At this point, I'm puzzled as to what it could be. Again this happens BOTH my laptops wireless only when they are preparing to go into hibernation and connected (sleep works very well). All the solutions and I've done analyses were performed on two laptops without success. I'm including the error I get:

The other laptop appears essentially the same error. I will reiterate that I made several of the solutions suggested in other forums without success, and the ONLY thing that was changed at all is the new modem/router. Please any suggestions, help or solutions would be greatly appreciated.PS I know that I can simply turn off hibernation and solve the problem... I am trying to solve the problem, so I can keep hibernate on and have everything works perfectly as before.Good news indeed.

Satellite M60-164 - BSOD during the windows loading screen
On startup, I get the blue screen of death during the windows loading screen.
I don't have a recovery cd, only a cd of OS (windows xp SP1a), which shows the option to repair but prompts then insert the recovery cd, how and where can I get one of these!
No matter what help get a restore for Toshiba Satellite M60-164 Pro cd would be much appreciated!
I think I know why you get a BSOD.
You said that you have installed the Win XP SP1a.You must Win XP SP2!
If you wish, you can create a CD Win XP SP2 clean! How? It's very easy. You need the tool freeware nLite (google for it and how to use it).
Using the nLite application you could create a new XP CD and could include SP2 in this CD. You can then use this disk to start!
By the way; The Toshiba recovery disc can be ordered from the ASP

BSOD during the game, BCCode: a
Hi guys,.
So a few weeks ago my girlfriend spilled a glass of water that flooded my PC. I immediately turned off at the wall, let it dry for a few days and then turned back on. Everything seemed to work very well, surprise!
... Until I tried the game. I don't play much, but I enjoy the flight and especially X-Plane simulators. I played for about 5 minutes, it was fine, then it would cause a BSOD. I tried to reinstall, and then instead of causing BSOD, the game would just crash (still not ideal!).
I then tried to play Kerbal space program, and after awhile, he made the BSOD too. I thought it was my graphics card which was perhaps damaged (it would make sense, because it is where most of the water would be landed in the accident). So I swapped it out today for a brand new MSI NVidia GTX 960 games 2G (replacing my ASUS NVidia GTX 750 Ti).
I now try to X-Plane to replay, and I'm getting BSOD again.
As I said, water damage do not seem to affect any other aspect of the performance of the PC. Everything else seems to work perfectly, as before. All hard drives are always fully accessible, I have noticed no decrease in performance of the processor, all interfaces on the motherboard (USB, Ethernet, etc.) are still functional.

Tecra M9-136 - BSOD during Vista SP2 update
Tecra M9-136 asked this morning to upgrade to the Vista SP2 and in the process the BSOD 0x0000007E arrived. Restarted in Mode safe and continuous Setup and then finally reported that the update failed - and came back to SP1. It took most of the morning.
It will start in Safe Mode, but on a start normal, Vista SP1 gets through fingerprint recognition and then fails with the same BSOD (there is regarding the display of the desktop).
The laptop has BIOS 1.80 level. I tried in safe mode to install 1.90 but he told me that the battery has insufficient charge and the AC adapter is not attached. Both wrong.
Stuck - need advice. Could this be a hard failure? Can't see how I can update whatever it is if it's a soft fault.
Thank youHave you tried to make back the OS to an earlier time before the SP2 installation started?
You can do it in safe mode. -
Error on blue screen (BSOD) during and after the installation of Windows 7
I had to reinstall Windows 7 using the recovery partition. When installing I kept getting blue screen errors and even now I still get the BSOD a few minutes. I have no problem in safe mode.
My laptop is a Satellite C650D - 12 c. I tried to update the BIOS, but I can't do it in safe mode. What should I do next?
Saved on the HARD drive recovery image is tested so everything should be OK with recovery image installation.
What you can try is to use the Microsoft installation disc to see if the same thing will happen again. If Yes, I'm afraid, you need professional help with this Portable Mr. probably guaranteed so the service guy should check this.
You created the recovery DVDs?
BTW: I think that the update of the BIOS is not solution. Recovery facility must operate with this original version of BIOS. -
Satellite L350 - BSOD during the recovery and missing "BOOTMGR"
Hello
I have a Satellite L350, Vista Home premium SP1, (had it for about 4months)Yesterday I received an error black screen on my laptop it says to reboot, so I did, then just, my laptop wouldn't stat more, I have no idea why?
So I put in my computer come with recovery disks laptop just reinstall every thing as if I just got it out of the box and I followed the instructions that the Recovery Wizard disk Toshiba says, and as his 'adaptation of the files', I get say Blue error screen "a problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL".
And tell to reboot or what ever and just keep it.
(Info tech: STOP: 0x000000D1 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x8D246FD7)
(usbccgp.sys - address 8D246FD7 base at 8D23E000, Datestamp 47919053)Then I reboot my system and a black screen comes up saying "BOOTMGR missing".
So now, I have nothing that works, I retried the disks but same error with blue screen.
I also tried to make the atmosphere safe and decent here, nothing works.
I m needs help! Thanks for reading, sorry for so much reading to do
The reason why laptop doesn t start (error bootmgr) while the installation is stopped with a BSOD. If you need to reinstall the laptop again.
It looks like a USB problem because I found this in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/945436/en-usIf you have connected the external USB devices to the laptop, remove them.
In the worst case, there is something wrong with the USB ports or controller and the motherboard must be exchanged. -

But when I try to change the display, extended (or any display mode double) to a single screen (laptop)... I get a blue screenHe said something nvidia... but it's not very useful
someone knows more?
Hello!
The Microsoft Knowledge Base, I found an article about this BSOD:
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;827663In addition, I think it might be the hardware problem, in my opinion the RAM.
Test the RAM with Memtest86: [www.memtest86.com]Maybe reinstall Windows to solve the problem.
