BluRay HDMI'd to the TV, TV audio digital-to-analog converter: no audio signal to the receiver

I have a BluRay BDP-3100 connected to the TV via HDMI.

I can hear audio (DVD, Netflix, etc.) very well just the TV speakers.

Have TV audio out audio output digital (optical) > (RCA) digital audio converter > receiver for playing on the sound system.

I get no audio through stereo receiver, DVD or Netflix, only a heartbeat noise. Funny thing is that I can hear YouTube with this configuration only.

All the other audio (cable, Xbox) works very well with TV audio out through receiver converter.

HEY Santa, thank you.

Steve

Try to go to the Audio settings of the Blu - ray player. Replace the Digital Audio output PCM and BD Mix Audio setting to Off.

1. Press button on the supplied remote control.

2. go in settings (toolbox icon) by pressing the left arrow button.

3. press the down arrow button and select Audio settings.

4. Select the Digital Audio output and set it to PCM.

5. Select the Audio BD mixture setting and place it on the off position.

No idea what is the problem? By selecting "Output HDMI" audio output by default seems to be a Solver for everyone, but it's the only option that is not left in me, so frustrating... :|

    Hello

To be honest I often use HDMI connection on my laptop but I never had any problems with this connection. Everything is working properly and even I checked again all works well!

Anyway, in your case, I'll try reinstalling the audio driver. You can find it on the Toshiba site.

If you use the HDMI connection, connect the cable first. Then turn on your TV or your amplifier and finally the laptop.
    Check it!

I have an NVIDIA HDMI output connected to audio receiver 7.1 Onkyo TX - NR. 818.  It is defined as the default output.  When connected, it works well.  When I turn off the receiver, the output goes to "not connected" and scene of my returns instantly becomes the default.  When the monitor is switched on again, the HDMI out remains "not connected" and audio is directed to the monitor.  If I unplug the pc HDMI cable and reconnect it, the HDMI from the receiver instantly responsive as default device.  How can I stop her from doing this change, whenever I have turn off the receiver?

  • No audio signal through HDMI (dv9700t CTO)

HP Pavilion dv9700t CTO Entertainment Notebook PC / Windows Vista 64-bit

I put the audio device by default for the device "Realtek Digital Output. I have no sound.

I've updated the audio drivers on the HP support site. Still no sound via HDMI. (the microphone quality was reduced at the point of being worthless)

I have updated the drivers with drivers from the site Web of Realtek. Still no sound via HDMI. (I found micro feature)

The box of bolt that I'm trying to connect to indicates that there is no audio signal passed him from this source (my laptop). I even tried to connect directly to the tv. Which doesn't work anymore.

Its almost as if there was no link between the audio and HDMI port.

I have dv9758ca and I have the same problem. No sound with the yamaha receiver. I sound with my LG TV and I tried with an Onkiyo recevier and it worked.

Once I had the sound on the yamaha (was a flook). the image was running on the TV and the screen of the computer (which is not normal) at the same time. then I concluded that the problem is the HDCP protection. the yamaha recevier is HDCP.

I've still did not know what the solution is, I just wanted to share my experience

  • Satellite L550 - 11 k - HDMI + VGA at the same time?

    Hello

I have laptop Satellite L550 - 11 k and I was wondering if I can have external work hung up on the VGA and HDMI monitor working (or just audio to hdmi) port at the same time.
I tried and don't have a chance making it work together.
I use Ubuntu 10.04 as an operating system, and I think that this is not a problem with the operating system.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

Hmm, I think that's not possible.
You will need to choose the video of our choice and it can be down by pressing Fn + F5
To my knowledge you can choose either the display internal + VGA or display internal + HDMI but it of not possible to choose VGA + HDMI.

In order to connect two monitors to your laptop, you will need an additional feature as Dynadock W20. This support Dynadock DVI port and you can use an HDMI to DVI to connect a monitor.

  • Loss of the HDMI sound after the monitor stop

    System:

HP laptop computer dv9330ca on Vista 64-bit. NVidea GE Force 7600 and Conexant audio.

I have hooked the lappy HDMI cable to the TV (Toshiba 32DT2U or 32C110U, not sure) and had no sound.  Define sound from digital output (SPDIF) in Control Panel - still no sound.  Video drivers updated - make us it sound.  Update audio drivers - sound disappeared. Audio restoration pilot - still no sound. Re-install video drivers - make us it sound.  Reboot - we still have sound!  The Toshiba power on and turn it on again - no noise :( Re-install video drivers - still no sound :(

I rebooted after all the steps mentioned above.  I am aware of "the digital sound setting" in Control Panel, but it's not helping more.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

    * UPDATE *.

I thought if I have no sound HDMI anyway, I might as well re - install the latest video driver again...

HDMI sound came back after restart >.

I'm sure I have will lose it again, probably when I stopped - the system, but I thought that I'll let you know - cordially

    Thanks again for your time.

  • to RBG - PC HDMI connection to the TV, but do get do not signal

I'm trying to connect my HP Pavilion DV2 to my LG 32 '' TV with HDMI cables RBG - PC, but I get no signal on the TV. What can I do?

Photo quality issues: Use a cable HDMI 5 meters (16 feet) long or less. Long distances can cause a degradation of the signal and the possible loss of quality audio and video. For longer distances, use a high grade cable (category 2) or a signal amplifier.
Image: Make sure that the source of input on the display device is set to the right connection HDMI used - especially when your monitor or your TV has more than one HDMI connector. For example, if your TV is connected to a DVD player with HDMI 2, make sure that the DVD player is configured to use the HDMI in its menu and make sure that the TV input source is set to HDMI 2.
Audio: Make sure that the HDMI audio is enabled in the digital camera of the source and the audio connection is connected to the audio output connector correct DTV.
If you are using a DVI-HDMI adapter, you need to connect audio cables separated from the device that sends the audio and video signal in any other device capable of audio playback (maybe it's the TV or monitor is also used to display a video if the device has loudspeakers and separate audio inputs).
If you try to send audio via HDMI to a PC, make sure that any built-in audio in the BIOS is set to Auto and make sure audio HDMI is selected for the main audio output of the operating system (for example, Windows Audio properties in the control panel).

I want to detect and use the video entering via the HDMI port on the computer. I was told the HDMI port was not set, but I can't seem to find the signal or the video.  Any suggestions?

As Tom SC replied, you must contact the company that manufactured your computer.  In general, the ports HDMI on most computers is an out-bound port, send video / digital audio output.

You should probably use a video capture card that can capture from HDMI source,

  • Converts the audio signals of the mydaq in discrete values

    Hi guys!

I'm currently building a project that accepts mydaq audio signals. I wanted to analog signals it have descrete peak values. Is this possible? I intend to use the discrete peak values and sum their place by using a registry change instead of the peaks. I think it is easier.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you very much!

Yes, the Ridge detector shows you where are the tops.  Now use a loop FOR autoindex on where are the tops for the level in those places.  Now you have a table to the top.  You can then use add table items to add them together.

  • HDMI disappears when the TV is off or another entry is used

I just started using a new HTPC with Vista Home Premium and a card mother Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2H. The TV is a large screen LCD from Sony with 3 HDMI, AV several and other inputs. If the HTPC is running and connected via HDMI to the TV, I turn on the TV to another entry or turn it off, the PC stops the HDMI output and I can't go back except by turning off the PC with the power switch, which, of course, is not closed Vista properly and is ugly. Anyone got any ideas on the parameters that could fix this problem?

    Hello KumbiaKid,

Thank you for posting.  Is the HDMI connection to your PC on the motherboard or on a video card.  It seems that your problem is driver related, and is a way to refine it to see if the HDMI connection on the graphics card or motherboard.  If she a video card, then an updated driver may solve the problem.  Ati and Nvidia offer updates driver with release notes that show the difficulties and problems known to each version of the driver.

Please, try to check and let me know if I can offer more help.
