Bought new Moto360 hangs on the update.

Not happy, this is what happened today:

-Unboxed my new bike 360

-It started to download update.

-J' downloaded android app on my Nexus 5 wear

-seems to have synchronized well enough.

-360 restarted motorcycle stopped at 30% and displays a picture of the android robot green on the back with his chest open and a red exclamation point! above it...

-After some time, 360 motorcycle restarts and sits at a loading animation, and says 'just a minute... "forever...

continues to do little matter what I try.

Have yet to see the cards and screensavers, because you cannot find past this part.

What should I do to fix this?

Some advice I found on another site

Now after yesterday and saw many still go through it today, I thought it would be a good idea to send out a message of PUBLIC interest about how to solve these problems.

LOADING PROBLEMS

When you set up the 360, there seems to be some kind of service that runs in the background that eats battery life quickly. If you have not yet completed the putting up of your watch, you will see that even when it is docked your watch will lose the battery charge. It's normal, your watch is not defective. To fix - turn off your watch and let, it loads about 80 percent while only off (preferably 100%). Then finish the installation process. Once you can see your watachface your 360 will start loading as usual.

Note: for me the Watch has always tried to restart. Keep an eye on it and keep turning backwards as if it turns on it will start to drain again

'JUST A MINUTE' OR 'WITHOUT INTERNET' QUESTIONS

There is a firmware update that the watch needs to install before being fully functional. To install this it needs a lot of battery power (some say 80%, I got mine to work 60% last night). If you do not have enough battery for this update run, you will be able to set your language and link your phone, but chances are that you will be stuck in a circle of green rotation with 'Just a Minute' on the screen. If you let it run long enough it displayed an error 'No Internet'. Follow the support questions and let it load everything off until it gets to a point where the update will install. Then you should be good!

Note - once he gets enough power, if it still does not work you probably need to reset your watch. I've done a few times

WATCH DOES NOT RESET

This one is a little off the walls, but it is something that I also met. When you go to reset your watch (press and hold the power button until settings appears, and then choose 'Reset') a screen will appear asking you to confirm the reset. If your watch is anything like mine, when you press to confirm the reset, nothing happens. You can type as many times as you want and it just sits there. In this case, just wait. Even if it is not an answer immediately or indicate that it worked, your watch should restart in a few seconds(10ish?). When he comes back up you will see the circles to carry Android during the reset process. Then it will restart and you will be on the screen Set Language.

I hope this helps some of you who have the same problems as me. I almost went to Best Buy to return/exchange the watch thinking it was broken when really it could be fixed here at home. Two more things here that I found when you work with a support technique moto:

  1. App is stuck on 'just a minute...' On your phone, go to settings--> Apps--> stop the strength to carry Android, clear data (might have to do it twice) clear the cache



  • Battery keeps dying before put you in place, even if you it reboot: take Android and click on the button to disconnect your 360 motorcycle. Who's going to say on the phone to stop trying to connect.



  • Enable the developer menu: menu-> about market-> Build-> tap as x 10

  • I would also add that if the deletion of your data and disconnect do not help, I found this goin

      When you play many I experience a complete system failure after a game for a variable period.  I suspect that the problem might relate to the next available software updates and a quick occurring asking if I want to load/install the update.  I think that my PC is set to interrupt the game, when occurs a such prompt and I suspect that some games cannot manage this interruption and cause the crash.  Problem is that I can not find where swith this parameter to stop or INTERRUPT a game session when an update is available.  Update from Dell Support Center are an example of these software updates.  Any comments on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

      Yes - you probably aren't going to find any setting specifically says: "I play a game, let me alone.»

      I've been a player for 20 years and did not have the updates stop playing once (and some of them were worthy of the experiences of game marathon. 'ha').  Of course - about my gaming PC I always put updates to the manual because I know if I leave auto on (at least) most of the time Windows updates, it could decide to update and restart at any time (without some other parameters).

      What I mean is that I think that looking in the right place, for the most part, to solve the problem you are experiencing.  Please follow the advice and at least update your video drivers (which is one of the largest components of the more modern games) and you can make the audio card motherboard chipset drivers while you're there.

      "Dell" stuff - it is not necessary.  Really.

      I have an IRR that has a checkbox column. Checking the box either includes or excludes this specific row when the page is sent.

      I add a 'global' checkbox in the column header of the IRR report for this column. It controls, checks all the boxes in this column to SORT. Unchecking the contrary fact. The "global" checkbox is a toggle power switch of the checkboxes in the SORT.

      So far so good. Works as expected.

      However, during the updating of the IRR (due to changes of order sorting, additional filters added, etc.), it redraws the region of apexir_DATA_PANEL - and with it, he repaints the table headers too. And this removes the "global" checkbox in the column header. (a page refresh is necessary to return to the "global" checkbox)

      I want to do is add a function call to the Manager of refreshment of the IRR - the last call to the handler is the custom function that adds the "global" checkbox in the column header. Something like:

      Just by the way, there are several things that can trigger this message.  If your system clock is not synchronized with the server, it can.  If you have modified a theme files, it can also trigger this alert.

    • New-VM hangs over the background task

      I am writing a script to automate some vm deployment and am having some problems with a background task.  If I run the code below, the new - vm command hangs and does not always complete the task.  I have to manually kill the jobs to get them to stop.  The next set of code below which is exactly the same thing, but not in a separate post and it works fine.  I am running the script on a windows 7, Powershell 3.0, esx server 5.1, 5.5 powercli.       Have you ever tried adding the line Add-PSSnapin the scriptblock in the 2nd script.

      Another problem could be that the script sends messages of 'warning', and these may cause crashes in tasks in the background as well.

      Try to set $WarningPreference = "SilentlyContinue".

      Have you tried updating to Fast Dial, version 4.2.1 or later? He must substitute the new integrated tab page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fast-dial-5721/ (Note: I have not tested myself)

      If you use a similar module, which is not the same "Fast Dial", what is it?

      I use Dreamweaver CC 2014 on the Mavericks operating system for mac. Dreamweaver tries to update a cache of the site for one of my sites, but then he paused for a few minutes and then crashes. I thought it could be a corrupted file cache so I deleted the MacFileCache -* file .dat in the Dreamweaver configuration folder, but it didn't work. I tried again and got the same result.

      My apologies for your trouble. Can you try to disable your cache in the settings of the site.

      Open the configuration of Site in the files Panel. Go to the advanced settings > local news. Uncheck the box "Enable Cache".

      This should hopefully solve your problem. Let us know.

      I use an old Mac 10.4.11 running tour. Firefox will not support this operating system after a while. Is not something I can install the new Mac OS (10.5) on this machine. There is some talk about installing Linux OS but takes me to the page Wikipedia of confusion.

    • Could get a new router block printing? We had a lot of problems with the computer in the last week and a half. Bought new router and now the printer does not print. :-(

      (1) we went to DirecTV. Then the same day, our internet computer is down. I asked our current provider, Suddenlink, to let them know we had them to another - but we wanted to keep for the internet.

      (2) called DirecTV to investigate why our internet went down at the same time they installed? They said that they did nothing to cause that. We waited 5 days to make out and also install the third TV that was promised. The second tech gave things a lookover and said, once again, that there is nothing unusual during their passage to cause the problem.

      (3) called Suddenlink. They said it was the router. Called the people of Netgear. They said that the router was too old. We needed to pay an exorbitant sum for support and when I told him I'd rather just buy a new router and get free technical support for 90 days... and I personally do not have the credit cards in that time. (it's my mother s equip and I wonder it for the computer) when the guy told me that he could help and hung up on us, even though I was pleading for him to wait until I put my mother on the phone. (I'm in my 40s... not a kid).

      (4) Suddenlink called a few days later, when we got a new router (netgear brand NO!) Installed and I noticed that the 'ready' light was not 'on' on the modem. Their technology has said that he would check and call us in a few minutes. He did not.

      (5) the next day I called Suddenlink AGAIN. This time, I got a really nice customer service agent. She said she would send someone to check on it. It turns out that they had disconnected when I had called to pass only the TV.

      (6) in any case, we are finally online... only now... I can't the printer to work. :-(  This has worked before.  Could it be caused by the different router? I don't know about these things. I didn't even know what it was until someone at Radio Shack has explained to me. (I was not about to buy one at Wal-Mart - these poor people). The printer is a Canon Pixma MX340. We love him. The only thing is that it is difficult to clear the tasks or to reset. The only way to really do that is to simply pull the plug, unfortunately and restart the computer. But hey, it's a great printer, better than HP.

      We are under vista. The router is a Linksys wifi (which we have) N300 model E900.

      My laptop recently posted a message saying that he would automatically restart in 15 minutes to install a Windows Update.  After 15 minutes, it restarts and a screen will appear that says "Configuring Windows updates.  Do not turn off your computer. "He started to install, then stalled to the point 13%.  I rebooted several times, and it keeps the timing at this point.  I can't go past this screen for something else, so I have no use of the computer right now.  Y at - it a fix for this problem?  Thank you.

      This problem may be caused for the following reasons:

      Conflicts of hardware/software.

      System files are corrupt.

      When you perform the System Restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

      When running at Refresh: the applications that came with your PC or you installed on Windows Store will be reinstalled, but all the apps you have installed other Web sites and DVD is deleted. Windows puts a list of applications on your desktop after you refresh your PC.

      This just started to happen with the last update CC. I have a dozen of programs that require an update.  No mater what we I click, Windows crashes after a few minutes. Locking of the solid. Need to reboot. Nothing in the error logs. It happens every time. Tried to remove and install the CC Office, no help.
