BR - 350 aerial cable

With the antennas we need to a 50 Ohm cable, right? And how if I use a cable 75 Ohm? or 300 ohms? Can it cause?

Kind regards

Omar

If you use a different impedance cable and / or the antenna, you have what is officially called a difference of impedance.

When you have a difference of impedance, you create a point of reflection on the system; part of the energy is returned originally.

According to the strength and the nature of the incompatibility and design and the nature of the source, you have, at least, reduces performance due to reflection. You would probably also significant performance reduced because the cable has too many loss (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz lose a lot of energy, even in the right cable).

Severe incompatibility can cause Cauterization of the issuer and literally heating cable (all that energy has to go somewhere!).

SO, the story: at the very least, poor performance at virtually no performance (variable with the situation), worst case, you kill the issuer / kill the AP and have to buy a new radio or AP (depending on type).

Good luck

I don't know if you know how it works exactly, but if you do not have enough knowledge about all this I recommend you consult your dealer and ask him the same question. I'm sure he'll explain how it works exactly.

  • S5200-903 Bluetooth Installation PA3121U-1BTM

    Hello world
I have an a S5200-903 where I want to install a Bluetooth PA3121U-1BTM map, which he said must fit into this computer. My problem is I don't know where it should be placed - and I guess I need an aerial cable - someone has an idea how to install this card into the S5200.
Thank you very much in advance for your answers.

    Hello

I found the info that any satellite 5200-902 comes with the BT module. Because of this, I'm not sure if other portable series 5200 have BT antenna inside. Before you buy this module, be sure that you can use it at 100%. Toshiba service in your country partner has information you need.

Otherwise you can use the little stick USB BT. It is very simple to use.

  • Upgrade of Qosmio F30/695LS (the slot with a weird module hard problem)

So I try to upgrade my laptop, its starting to show his age in this world or the very rapid evolution out. I want to add two 1 GB RAM cards. I read somewhere that 2 GB is memory max does anyone know if it is in terms of upgrade only or including 512 who comes standard? The cards must also be 200 pin DDR2 SO-DIMM, but I don't know how fast that is capable of confronting the laptop, I can put 800 MHz in there? Now, I had read that the manual except that it's like the laptop in Japanese! I'm also trying to add a second hard drive, there is a second location, but... There's something seriously weird sitting in there! Here are some pictures to help identify it:

For me, it seems to be a kind of a dummy module, but like I said I don't know noty - whatever it is, it causes a lot of problems - it can not be removed from the underside of the laptop, which means I have to open all and pull it out of the bottom of the keyboard (if that is even possible?) and I don't want to not pull something important on accidentally! Thus, any information would be very useful!

    Hello
If you want to upgrade the RAM for Qosmio F30, then you can use SO DIMM DDR2 533 Mhz PC2-4200

MODULES MUST BE ORDER AND INSTALLED in PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.

so, you can order the 2 GB kit (2 x 1 GB).

You must remove the old module 512 of your laptop, you can also see the speed written.

and on the strange object sitting in the slot of the HARD drive, I think it's a kind of wireless or Bluetooth card because there is an aerial cable attached to it, you can try to unplug the card and turn on your laptop and see if there are wireless devices or Bluetooth removed from the system.

also try to find what is written inside this card, a reference number or Description and post it to us.

This laptop sold in Japan only and that the specification is different from that which is sold in europe.

  • WIFI WLan on my L10 - 108

    Hello

I just bought a 108 L10 laptop, but want to put in a Mini - PCI WLAN card. The problem is: I do not see the antenna cables in the mini-PCI slot. A few questions:

-Which Mini-PCI card to use? Each brand is possible?

-What should I check when buying one?

-Can I build it myself in an aerial cable (s)? (there are Mini-PCI cards on the market with cables)

-Otherwise, I can use a Mini-PCI card without when I use it in the neighborhood of the WIFI router?

    Thanks in advance!

    Emile

    Hello, Emile

As much as I know your device isn't ready for Mini - PCI WLAN card. In my opinion the best solution for you is the PCMCIA wireless card. Installation is very easy, and after configuration, you can drag the data to the neighborhood. ;)

  • Qosmio G30 - video input using WinDVD Creator and WinDVR 5 problems

    Hi all
My G30 (PQL32L) supplied with Windows MCE. It has preinstalled WinDVD Creator 2 and personally I install WinDVR 5 (application of part 3 came with my Plextor ConvertX PX-TV402U PVR).

    Problems:
1 WinDVD Creator 2: failed to set the TV system. I plugged my video source via the video cable (yellow, white, red) provided and connected to the AV-in port. I chose TV on the HARD drive for the new project. Default WinDVD defined as NTSC but my TV system is PAL. Therefore, input video quality is blurry and cut in two. Once I changed the setting in the software of PAL, the video screen turned black and no response. I have no problem with Qosmio Player with the same configuration of the connection.

2 5 WinDVR: Application can not start correctly (hang and cannot complete the program) I to my Plextor ConvertX PX-TV402U PVR TV source, then connect it via USB2.0 for G30. My ConvertX works in my office, but failed with the G30. The application cannot start properly and hung. No response yet I'm trying to complete the program, but the screen was always there. When I try to stop my G30 then Windows MCE hung at the "Closing Windows" screen. I have to stop by pressing the button. ConvertX being operation USB cable, it is not achievable in Qosmio.

Can someone help to solve these or give advice?

    Fine thanks
    Samuel

    Hello

I copied the film on my camcorder for Qosmio G30 (WXP MCE) without any problem and subsequently created the DVD using Ulead moviefactory program. I also tested it with VHS-recorder. Once again without any problem!

My camcorder was connected with firewire cable and it has been recognized correctly. VHS-recorder was connected with the aerial cable simply. I was able to record sources using Qosmioplayer (it was just to test because I'm interested, how it works). Movie from VHS-recorder was also possible to record using Media Center Edition.

I know I also tested it with pre-installed Win DVD Creator but camcorder has not been recognized as usual. If I remember well I put the TV source and that the camcorder is recognized correctly. To be honest I don't like this Win DVD Creator and I have not tested properly.

So I would like to know what your video source and what you hear in AV-in port.
Please tell me exactly what cable you use for audio/video data transfer and exact port on your Qosmio laptop?

  • Pavilion 15 bj000nh: very low wifi on the brand-new Pavilion 15 bj000nh

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my new laptop purchased 15-bj000nh HP Pavilion, a few days ago.
The wi - fi connection is too low, that if I keep the PC one meter away from router I get only 3-4 bars of 5 in the connection properties and if I go to 10 meters and a pair of rooms up to now I get 1 to 2 bars of 5 and frequent disconnections. Also the speed breaks I see, and close to the router is too not at the maximum.
Otherwise, my old laptop HP 6735 s with Windows 7, never had problems in the same position (10 m) and keep 3-4 bars no disconnections. I checked the resistance of the router wi - fi with mobile phone too (not), I tried all the solutions offered by HP support assistant on PC and on the HP support site also, but with no result... I have the card (802.11n) Broadcom software upgreaded. IT helped a little, but even with the latest software, my laptop has connectivity problems. I can't believe that a new NB may have a weak connection... I have some other ideas of a HW fault...
    Thanks for your help.

No wireless card will work well with only a single antenna and a dual band (2.4 and 5 ghz) won't work at all on a single antenna... An aerial cable can be added, but it takes almost complete disassembly. I doubt that the Service would do. I wish that it is something that I could tell you. A usb wireless dongle is your best option. $ 15 on amazon.com and you will have good reception at the cost of losing access to the usb port.

  • T540p - wireless issues

I don't have the machine to my site, so the info I have is part of me Teamview'in the machine and the response I got from the user on the phone.

One of our T540p machines are having wireless connection problems. He connected after a fresh reboot (most of the time) but if its connected to a wireless network and the sleep/hibrinate that it will not reconnect.

The strange thing is that issues disappears if the machine is connected to a wired connection, e.g. in docking station.

I installed all the latest drivers. If I don't get the advice here, I think that call patient support for a replacement wifi-card.

It turns out that there is an aerial cable loose causing the problem on this machine.

  • Dell XPS 17 3D edition with no 3G

    Hi all

My specific Dell's XPS 17 with 3D screen (model: XPS L702X). I checked the product support and on this laptop, it states that a card 3G is not available on the 3D Panel. I wonder why they excluded the card 3G of this laptop. As far as I know, a 3D Panel has no effect on a card 3G (when installed). Or did they used the port for the 3G card for 3D Panel that I find very little likely.

I contacted the customer service with a ticket, but the people that have helped me are not very informative, not to mention the use of the English language is atrocious. Only, they cannot tell me a reason, (out of their reach is the answer) and request more support on how to get one in my laptop just brings back me to square one with them not understanding me and telling me he only is not supported.

All the tips of you wizzes out there to make this 3G card in this laptop, or how to get one and do work?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Wipeout 3,

My name is Shomprakash and I'm Dell's Social Media team. I checked your question and I must say, it's a very good question.

We have a reason to not include 3G (WWAN card) on the L702X systems built with a 3D screen.

3D screen specifications allow no room for the Assembly of cable antenna required for the card 3G function properly. These aerial cables through the rear LCD of coverage on non - 3D models and activate the card WWAN work with the necessary signals.

This is according to the design guidelines. However, I suggest you to use a USB dongle, provider of respective services to take advantage of the connectivity of level 3G on your computer. I would also like to congratulate you on your choice of product. The 702 X is an excellent machine when it comes to 3d games. We wish you a wonderful time with your Dell machine!

I hope this helps. If you have follow-up questions, the right answer here. I'll be happy to help you to the best of my knowledge and abilities.

  • I want to reset iPad photos so it clones my iMac Photo Album via a cable. Get weird iPad 1/2 albums I don't want. How?

Something weird is going on my iPad 2 aerial, with the remains and partial albums. I have always used a direct connection cable USB-lightning to synchronize. My iMac photo album is perfectly formed, sorted, etc. I want to have pictures of my iPad to wipe all the photos, and then clone that I have on my pictures to the iMac. No muss, no fuss.

Then go ahead, I want both of them to sync.

I've tried enabling iPad iTunes > Photos > synchronize Photos (both TOGETHER and SELECTED (with all selected).) I end up getting half of the albums, they aren't right key group, bad photo, etc.

I already copied all the pictures I want from my iPad to my iMac, so I'm fine with losing everything that my iPad Photos has, as long as it takes all my iMac photos and on the copy material.

    Best way to do this?

Latest versions of iOS and El Capitan.

Bonus question. iPad Photos wants to import many (many) photos to Photos of the iMac. These images already exist. If I select all import them, is smart enough to go, synchronization "is a dup so I don't bother. Or I'm going w / duplicates ruin my iMac Photos? Having several hundred pictures showing whenever I have connect my iPad and then view it on my iMac annoys Photos app.

    Thank you very much!

I'm sure that you know--he put the photos in iTunes and then sync them to iPad - not sure from Photos - Mac directly, works

That said, I think I know that photos are stored with a specific tag, and if you import the same image twice, it will be stored again with another tag creates a duplicate

If possible try with just an image and see what happens

Also, if you don't want pictures opens automatically as soon as the connection of the iPad - there is a box at the top left which you can uncheck

  • Upgrade to modem cable with router?

I plan to upgrade my modem cable to take advantage of the increased speed that Comcast now offers in our region. I think my Airport Extreme of 2007 could be a brake on the increase in the speed of a new modem. I would like to know if it is better to buy a new modem cable with built-in wifi router.

My current Airport Extreme supports two iMacs (24 "in 2007 and a 27 '' 2010), two iPhones and iPad two minis. My current cable modem offers 34 mb/s download speeds and download about 6 MB/s.

I will be grateful for any advice... Thank you

I think my Airport Extreme of 2007 could be a brake on the increase in the speed of a new modem.

There are 2 different versions of AirPort Extreme offered in 2007... a 1st generation version and the 2nd generation.

The 1st generation version will manage an Internet connection speed of up to about 100 Mbps. The 2nd generation version will manage up to 350-400 Mbps.

If your new service provider will be 100 Mbit/s or lower, it is not really important what version you have. Either the version of AirPort Extreme will take care of this service.

If your new service will be 100 + Mbps, then you will have the Gen version 2nd of the airport to take advantage of the higher speeds.

IF you have the 1st generation AirPort Extreme... And... your new service will be well above 100 Mbps... THEN... it might be a good idea to take a look at a new modem/router.

HOWEVER... If your new service will be less than 100 Mbps... so you probably won't receive any improvement with a new modem/router and it would be wise to simply continue to use the airport until it fails.

So an important question here might be... what version of AirPort Extreme do you have?

Another important issue could be... your current modem will support the service high speed?

Open the AirPort on your Mac utility and you should be able to know which version of airport you have.  If you can provide the serial number and model of your modem, we will see if we can find out what he can do.

If you wondering if Comcast, you should know that the person you speak to will probably receive a bonus if you order a new modem or new modem/router...so you may not receive an unbiased opinion on their part.

Finally, there are a number of users who believe that, as a general rule that you need to replace a modem or a router in about 5 years... even if it doesn't work OK. So, you might get some interesting opinions together.

  • Widescreen - torn R61i cable under the broken right hinge

    Hey everybody,

I recently bought a used R61i which has been described as having only a right hinge broken. - However, the EC, I noticed a black ripped/broken cable protruding under/the broken right hinge all about.

I searched through many many sons of "broken hinge" on various forums, but no one ever mentions this black cable near the right hinge as far as I can tell. He is always on the left hinge antenna cables. I have also looked at the manual but cannot know what is function of this cable (a). I think it has something to do with the screen, but:

The laptop seems to work very well; I installed Windows XP and there is no problem with the screen (outside of not being able to set a higher resolution, but I think this comes from a graphic/Monitor driver problem).

Can someone tell me what is this black cable and what problems it might cause (in the future)? Should I replace it - is replaceable? I'll be replacing the hinge and clean fan anyway, so have to disassemble the laptop anyway.

Here are some photos to show you the black cable and its location:

    Thanks in advance!

The black wire is the wire aerial (secondary) to the wireless LAN. The gray wire on the left side is the main. You can get a poorer Black wireless reception. To replace it, you must remove and disassemble the lid/LCD

  • Is HP2310m Compatible with HPE-350 t Desktop monitor?

I am interested in buying a new monitor of 23 "HP2310m, but first of all, I would like to know if it is compatible with my HPE-350 t bought on July 15, 2010. My computer has an ATI Radeon HD 5570 1 GB graphics card. Currently, I use a VGA-DVI converter to connect my old school monitor, but I want to go digital. I need to know (1) if my computer system and graphics card is HDCP capable, (2) if my output DVI which seems to me to be the DVI - I (digital and analog) would work with the monitor in question, which indicates a DVI - D output, and (3) the question of whether I would be forced to go with a HDMI connection. I think that my graphics card has an HDMI output, right next to the DVI output, but it is difficult to read the text near the exit. Someone with the same system can confirm that it is well an output HDMI, and you recommend to connect the new monitor with HDMI instead of DVI cables (who cannot work because of the DVI has already been mentioned - I analog and digital format)? Please notify.

Good to see I can relpy to my own post. Here goes.

For those who are wondering, you pouvez connect a male DVI - d plug in a dual link DVI - I female repectacle. The dual link DVI - I female repectacle is the one who accepts the males of all kinds Sockets; DVI - A, DVI - D and DVI - I. DVI - I made double bond supports three formats. Hello:

There is no way you can activate the AHCI in the BIOS for this drive.

The only thing you need to do is to install the latest driver/software Intel RST that supports completely SSD on the RAID drives mode including trim from the link below.  Third file listed.

You can ignore these reports because there is nothing you can do about it and no need to.

I hope someday, device manufacturers will be re - write these programs to not report problems on any PC with a 7 series Intel chipset or newer, when the disc is in RAID mode.

The hard drive is set to AHCI by default.

I wanted to put a regular SSD instead of hard drive in my G1 of 350 HP, but I can't figure out how to get out the disc.  It does not move.

Manuals says to release the cable and lift up the drive.  With what?  I tried with both hands and it is stuck fast.

I didn't want to damage, so I put this project on hold for now until someone post a YouTube video on how to remove the drive.
