    Hello

    1. were you able to burn disc using Windows Media Player 11 earlier?
2 have you tried burning the disc manually?
    3. What is the exact error message you get?
    4. were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Download the Windows Media Player 11 from the link below and see if the problem persists.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=8163

Previously, reinstall WMP (Windows media Player), you try to burn manually.

Note: Yes, you can install Windows Media Player 11 from Microsoft, even if it has been installed by Dell. No, you do not have to remove the previous Windows Media Player 11, that it will update after you download and install from the link mentioned above.

  • Burn data disc in Windows 7

I have a disc with 32 files for a total of 550 MB.  I need to provide this file to 20 customers and have no any place of storage to the place that anything could happen to.  The best solution would be to copy/burn the disks to distribute.  I remember being able to burn discs in Windows Explorer in versions of Windows previouls, but can not find a method to do the same thing under Windows 7.  Can someone please advise?

    Thank you

    Paul

If you use windows, built in software, you can copy one of the disks to a folder on your hard drive, then repeat the process of engraving 20 times.

Personally, I use either Roxio or Nero software that I bring, tell him to copy a disc, then tell him how many copies I want and insert new records when he tells me to.  There are professional services, such as Kinko's and OfficeMax that will do this for a price if you would rather than route too.  Finally, you could watch free programs you can download like imgburn from http://www.imgburn.com .  You could also do a search on http://www.download.com for other free downloads.

    Good luck.

I loaded the latest version of iTunes on my XP computer and found that I could not burn a CD of my playlist has received an error message "no disk found" and 'records are missing', even if I can download songs from this album on iTunes and can burn discs of Windows media player.  I tried to reinstall iTunes, I deleted Roxio Creator and insofar as I could, the Windows Media Recorder. • Carpet * a DVD-RAM UJ-820 s do not read or burn discs

Hi, I'm Natalie and I need help with my problem that occurs.

    Operating system:
    Windows XP Home Edition
    Laptop Toshiba Satellite
    Model A75-S229
Multi recorder drive: CD and DVD

The problem that happens is that I can not get any CD or DVD to work when I put them. What is happening is he's trying to load but makes the window "Not responding", unless I have the disc, then everything will be fine. What is also involved, is that I can't burn discs at all, at any speed.

Also, I would add, when I go to my computer > right click on the DVD - RAM drive > properties and under the general tab it states:

    Type: CD player
    file system: unknown

    I don't know if that's the problem...

    Can someone help me?

    HI Isabelle.

Please check in the Device Manager to see if there is a problem with your optical drive. Normally this will be displayed as an exclamation point against the device.

The fact that the file system is listed as "unknown" is because the drive could not read the format of the disc so that Windors Explorer cannot identify any file structure.

Your problem could be something very simple like a lens dirty or a faulty device driver. It is not easy to tell from your description exactly what can be wrong, but I would say you try some of the easy options so try first to clean the lens, and if this does not resolve your problem, then try to remove the drive (Device Manager) and reboot for the device will be installed new.

If all else fails, you will have checked player be an authorized Service partner.

  • Re: Satellite P200 - TS - L802a Won't burn DVD on Windows 7

I have a Satellite P200. Due to the original HDD becomes full, I installed a new drive hard more - and installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it. I can't get my DVD burner to work (TS-L802a). The DVD player is fine because if I put the old hard drive back (Vista) it works perfectly. I have the 6.1.7601.17514 (TF32) firmware installed. I tried to upgrade to the WinVup2_L802A_RATO35 however the installer does not recognize that there is a DVD player - even if it will read DVDs without problem. It says update is not available and the Start button is grayed out.

I searched high and low for a solution and I'm out of ideas. Can anyone offer a solution please? Thanks in advance.

NB: I have not upgraded from Vista - I bought Windows 7 to install on new hard drive.

    Hey,.

    > even if it will read DVDs without problem
This means that DVD burning function is affected, but you can play DVDs without problem, right?

Well, this could be also related to the brand of DVD. This DVD you use for burning discs?
I m using the DVD - R Verbatim and TDK. The two brands works fine on my laptop.

What burning software do you use? Have you tried with CD Burner XP?
