C510 black cartridges may not print.  Both are completely full.

I'm sorry to hear that the given steps could not solve your problem. According to the material of your product if you have already tried replacing the black cartridges and who could not solve your problem it would be a failure of the print head. The print head is what reads the cartridges and ink control goes on paper. Because your printhead additional cleanup steps failed to resolve some "butcher" or failure which could cause this problem I have to recommend that you replace the printhead or the printer to service.

If you choose to replace your printhead remember that there is always the chance that the print head is unable to resolve the problem and then you need to replace the entire product.

    Are getting you any kind of error message about the cartridge? If this is the case, please follow this ink cartridge problem: "Not compatible ink cartridge" or "Ink cartridge must be replaced" message for HP Deskjet 3520 e-all-in-one and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage e-all-in-one 3520 Printer series document and, hopefully, the printer will recognize the cartridge after these steps.

    It may also be that in the Photoshop (Edit) > preferences > Interface you can view layers in colors checked.

    There are a few steps to help solve this problem located here.

    If you tried to change the cartridge and clean the contacts, then you've done several of the steps already in order to answer the question.

    You can consider replacing the printer as well if the steps do not fix the issue. Have you considered the available through the Support of HPupgrade program, if the unit is out of warranty?

    I'm not an expert, but if there is no image on LCD internal display and the external monitor, I assume that there is a problem with the graphics card. I think you should contact the customer Service of your country partner and let check the device.

  • My HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One Printer does not scan the black and white film strips or slides.

    This problem occurred recently. Previously, the scanner accepted slides and strips of black and white film and scanned them without any problem. Since I've updated the OS on my iMac (I am currently using OS X 10.6.8), I contacted Applecare because I thought that it was possible that my current operating system might have some incompatibilities with the C8180. 'Expert' AppleCare then accompanied me by a uninstall/reinstall, but it has not solved the problem. AppleCare said then that the problem is no doubt HP hardware failure. I find it quite peculiar since the scanner otherwise Applecare analysis works and there is no problem with respect it print or copy.

    Your C8180 can scan slides or films fixed on the memory card.  This will allow you to test the scanning equipment.

    Deskjet printers 1180c or 1000 have printers IPH - the print head is built into the cartridges.  If the print head is clogged, the replacement of the cartridge will also replace the print head.

    The Officejet 7110 printer has IIC, individual with piping ink cartridges and print heads separated to connect.  The printer running with one or more colors of voids can cause the air in the plumbing and/or damage to the print heads.

If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out.   • Vista does not load a black screen with arrow

    Windows Vista will load only a black screen with the white mouse arrow.  I can move the arrow but by pressing the keys (including ctrl-alt-del and ctrl-shift-esc) does nothing.  The only way to turn off here is to press and hold the power button.  Same thing in safe mode.

    I tried the "Repair your computer" option (F8, or from the Windows DVD).  The Startup Repair option says that he finds no problem.  There is no restore point on the computer if it is not an option (it isn't my computer, the person who owns it is said that there should be a restore point, but if there is, the computer can't find it).

    The Dell (F12--> Diagnostics) system diagnostics found no problem (I'm sure this isn't a hardware problem).

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.
