  Anti-virus software is notoroius spoil Safari. If you have one, uninstall it.

  The so-called ' cleaning/optimization/tune-up' apps will make a mess of your system.

  It's the Safari extensions that may be more embarrassing than plug-ins. Make the Preferences of Safari and click on the tab 'Extensions '. If extensions are displayed, turn off all resatart Safari, I and test.

• Random crashes Lightroom CC

  Hi there, since the last update (Lightroom CC) the application crashes when importing (from SDHC card) and/or during the convert to DNG, so now I have several double (NEFF/DNG) files. It happened several times today and I can't find anywhere, any solution, I'm up-to-date, optimized, done all the steps in the troubleshooting guide. I had no such problem with Lightroom 5, all started since the last update. Hope I see one updated shortly as it is very frustrating and consumes tons of precious time.

  Edit-it just crashed again just trying to choose another photo in the catalog, has nothing else, just select the next photo. It's completely absurd!

• Why I can't have correct colors?

  First of all sorry for my English, but it is not my first language.

  I have LR4.3 for at least a year. He worked properly until 2 weeks ago. But now, it is impossible to have the right color in the part 'development '.

  Better hold down the SHIFT key while pressing reset, as if the weird colors are there immediately, it can apply a change of tone RGB curve or calibration during the import.  Now shift will reset Adobe to zero.

  If it works go to the menu - develop: set default settings: allows you to restore the Adobe.

  Try calibration, curved tone and HSL off one at a time also. Last potential remedies that I can think of is to ensure that you have not got an 'alien' ICC profile is activated in the Soft proofing.

• Dynamic links between Premiere Pro and AE (CS5.5)?

  Okay, then, here.

  I edit my main footage in Premiere Pro. I recently bought a denoising software which is only compatible with After Effects, so I've been using the denoiser plugin in After Effects. Once I changed my basic video cut in first, I select all clips (included audio) in the timeline panel and open in a new model of EI. Once it has been opened, I do all my video major alterations in AE (for example, noise reduction). Now, when I try to export the project as a project of first Pro (PP) and open it in the first, it does not load the project. It's just an empty sequence. This isn't a big deal, because I tried something else. I tried connecting the composition of EI EI to PP which works, but it is very slow and precomposes all individual clips in a video clip.

  So, just to go on it again, that's what I did: cut clips in PP > selected all the clips in the timeline of PP and them open in a new AE comp > published the individual clips inside the model AE w / effects that are not supported by PP (only AE supports the reductive effect) > open the AE comp edited pp > then the model came as a clip video précomposé instead of individual clips.

  So, my question is, how can I get the model of EI to stay as individual sequences when I open it in PP in case I need to adjust something? Is there a way to do this? Or should I just do the very last denoise effect?

  Two other things:

  (1) I noticed that it is extremely slow in PP to render a model of EI parts... is it just because of the added effects?

  (2) I transcode my videos to the ProRes 422 format before I put it in PP. Once I put the clips in AE and then again in PP (if I figure out how), the clips will always be the same ProRes codec? I need them to be the same codec due to the adjustment of colours and effects later in the post.

  You use dynamic links, which consumes tons of RAM because it runs mainly AE and body at the same time. The temporal part of your denoising tool can slow things. Other questions are naswered easily

  • You can simply send clips separately to AE. No need to send a schedule around when you treat only the parts.
  • Still, simply make the clips in AE and replace in the body, rather than use the DL to return them

  In short: you make your living difficulat using the monstrosity that is the dynamic link. A more cautious approach based on files would most probably speed things up a lot.

  M177fw - toner cartridge black original of Windows 7 - no error message - replaced last week and print OK for the first five days - current state of toner == > black (new cartridge) > 1000 pages remaining, cyan (original cartridge) 100 pages remaining, magenta (original cartridge) 150 remaining, yellow pages (original cartridge) < 50 pages left - have shaken all the cartridges to distribute toner - Imaging drum and cartridges look OK - ran cleaning yesterday and today - page would print yesterday after startup (white pages), but satisfactory copy - print demo was empty and printing page didn't show band black - after a certain number of copies were made, print recovery and demo impression was excellent - today, copies and prints are mostly empty with only a few lines that display - page of print quality and impression of demonstration are today totally blank - weather has been hot and humid lately and printer is not in an air-conditioned

  I see that you have problems printing intermediate with the pages of hardware test also. I want to help you solve this problem.

  You use Genuine HP Toner?

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  I have a document with a few steps to try to see if this will solve the problem. Steps in calibration of the printer, cleaning again, printing a page of print quality to determine what toner/s are responsible for this problem.

  Recently practice LabView and review some of my old projects that make a few measurements in our lab. In this example, I have a very simple task: always get data (rate 1 sec) 2 multimeters Keithley (GPIB, 4 devices in case of calibration) and save it in tdms file if necessary.

  I have the state machine in the loop of the consumer (shift register), and I use notifier with CancelNotification to check if there are new GUI loop command. I cancel it, so in the next iteration if there is no user interaction, the (monitoring) case by default will run...

  What do you think of this kind of approach? You will find the attached llb project. How would you best? (it works OK, but I think that is not optimal, elegant enough)

  PS. : in the PC being used there is an old card pci GPIB CEC, no idea if that's the reason, but I got data GPIB, error reading from one of the Keithley, once or twice a day. I realized that a simple HW re - initialize made communication Keithley works again, I therefore detect and work around this error as you see (since my data acquisition speed is low, I do not know if the soft reinits HW a couple of times a day...)

  From my experience, you never know what might happen.  I've seen Windows do really weird things.  If you need absolutely all orders to move, even if it is coming from the interface user, use a queue.

  In addition, what happens if you need another part of your program to order the recorder.  You will have the GUI and the other thread fighting over who gets their read notification.  A queue will not have this issue.

  Even so, I can't really point to cancel the notification.  If waiting for Notification has already seen this notification, it will stay there and wait another notification.  Again, you can use a timeout if you want to limit how long it takes.

• HP5525 calibration problem

  I have a problem with a HP5525 that not magenta, yellow is calibrated correctly.

  I replaced the ITB is conducted at 15% (also replaced toner waste bottle because it was full).

  I ran a full calibration several times but the colors were always outside.

  After disableing the control of the cartridge, I inverted the tonics, proving that it was the wrong slots rather than cartridges.  I also replaced it with the laser Assembly, was always able to get the same question.

  After reviewing the maintenance manual, can someone tell me where the density sensor and recording density Belt Perimeter sensors are located, they are part of the ITB or are part of the Assembly of the record? (it is not clear in the service manual)

• 1525 laser jet color calibration

  I have a 1525 color laser jet that has 2 problems. One is a very pale yellow stripe on the right side of the page.  I can live with that, but it would be nice to get rid of him.

  The big problem is that blue color for printing is not properly calibrated, and there is a shift to what makes it fuzzy.  I tried to 'calibrate' the printer several times, and it makes no difference.  He got only 40K pages printed on it overall, is hardly old.  What should I do to solve the problem of calibration?   Happy holidays! My new 305 yellow cartridge HP LaserJet (CE412A) is faulty. I get the memory power 10.1003 error on my printer (HP LaserJet Pro 400, M475dn color). The problem is that there is a failure of communication with this toner cartridge. The mitigation step to reinstall the cycle of the cartridge and the power of the printer. • Color Laserjet M476dw MFP: use of colour toner M476dw when printing in black only pages?

  I bought a M476dw about a month ago.  After printing the demo page of color a few times and one or two color prints and then until I changed the default settings, there are a few pages with "accent color. Other that that, I've only been printing black pages since then.

  Supplies report says I have 70% left on my estimated (printed pages: 310 750 remaining) black print cartridge and the remaining 90% on all color cartridges three ((printed pages estimated 33 remaining > 1000)

  I realize, these are just estimates, but I'm surprised that 33 pages of printing almost all who were just the accent color resulted in 10% of the consumed color cartridges.

  I have printer connected directly to the wall and leave it on all the time, so no excess cleaning cycles are generated, and my default print mode is: black & white / grayscale printing.

  I know that provided cartridges are cartridges 'starter' but are there still other factors under MY control on colour toner consumption?

  Hi Jim, The M476 turn all durning cartridges a print job mono-noir, even if the color toner is not applied to the page.  It's features of the motor to the drum cartridge luberciate and prevent damage.  The rotation is counted even if there is no toner applied to the page.  As you mentioned the status of supplies is an estimate and is controlled by the firmware of the engine, and levels of toner alerts can be set to low or very low, with other settings under each heading.  Basically, the State of cartridges supplies is an estimate, based on the use and rotations or print quality may continue until the age is observed or impression continued after the alert status.  A research on HP support/troubleshooting on this topic could provide additional resources.

  It's probably the default action (I don't know about you, since I don't have one of these printers).

  Via the integrated Web server (that is to point your browser to the IP address of the printer), look for the System. Print quality menu.

  Check or change the values for the calibration of market (default = 15 minutes) and the calendar of calibration (default = 48 hours) points.

• How to fix color on skin tones in a printer Photosmart c5180 on Windows 7?

  I use some time a Photosmart C5180 printer to print on A4 sheets, capture some of my Nikon D90 photos.

  If the prints generally show a reasonable quality, I was quite wrong with color moving in much darker tones of skin that appear more pink and against nature.

  Does anyone have the same experience or know how to solve the problem?

  It does not help.  As the calibration option is not there, it may be because you have the version of Solution Center does not offer this option.  If I remember correctly, it was deleted in the later version because it has been incorporated in the own options or alignment.  I think that the problem is in the print or color management driver in the computer.  The only option to tailor color management is in the printer printing preferences.

  1. Click on the start menu.
  2. Click devices and printers.
  3. Right click on printing preferences.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Change the setting of the HP real life technology.  If it is check, uncheck and visa versa.
  6. Try to print the photo again.

  If changing the color management setting does not resolve the problem, then follow the document below to assign the printer to use a different printer driver.  I recommend the 990c Deskjet.
