Calls to Microsoft Support. ???

I keep getting phone calls from a person claiming to be calling Microsoft Windows.  He tells me that my computer is sending false messages, and Microsoft will stop it if I don't get on the computer with him and make some changes. I don't trust him.  Microsoft contacted me this way?

It's a scam.  I'm glad you don't fall for it.  All other calls suggest that tell you the caller you brought calls to the police who should dissuade continue to harass you.

But If you allowed the appellant to access your computer, you can have significant problems require action on your part to include contacting your financial institutions, change passwords and formatting/reinstalling your operating system.
