Can I turn off a full Windows 7 (Ultimate) key so I can use it on my new PC?

Hello

I sought an answer to my question, but I can't quite find yet. I'm going to buy Windows 7 Ultimate Edition full retail to upgrade my Vista Home Premium PC current. But I was wondering if I could disable the key on my current PC, when I buy a new PC running next year so that I can use it on this one. I would only use it on 1 PC at a time, but I don't know if a retail license allows for it.

Must answer this question elsewhere already, please refer me to it and did not hesitate to remove this post and I thank you in advance for your answer!

P.S. English is my third language (I am from the Belgium) and it's not so much legalese, please try to explain it to me gently.

There is no deactivation, but you can install it on your new PC when you get it, as LONG as you format the hard drive on the old PC (and reinstall Vista Home Premium).  It is the joy of retail vs OEM.  With OEM, it is "related" to the first PC, you install and activate in the.

Inspiron 9300 my wife became severely infected.  I thought I had some weird things start popping up of the problem decided to wipe the hard drive and start over.  Unfortunately, I don't have to restore disks when I bought the computer.  I install windows xp pro service pack 2 full retail version.

Installation was not a problem until I installed the driver ATI Mobility x 300.  I followed directions for installation from the website, do the installation of xp followed of the dell system software update followed of chipset followed video driver.  After that whenever I put on, the screen turns off after the Windows Logo.  The computer is still running and if I plug an external monitor everythng is fine.

I tried all the troubleshooting tips I've seen in this forum.  I did a full install twice. made of safety boots (all right), started in VGA mode (works fine), I ran diagnostics from fn on startup, including express, extended and video tests and they pass all the controls.  I'm sure it's a software problem, but have been unable to solve.  I've updated the ATI bios although when I run it says already installed and done one installs x 300 driver on 6 ttimes own.

I know it must be something simple that I'm missing. My system is the Inspiron 9300 with 2 GB of ram and the mobility x 300 card.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • How could I give priority to my network connections, (without turning off the strap attached, as it took), so that it uses the internet from my main network connection?

    Prioritize network connections

    OK, here's the situation.
I have a regular ethernet connection that provides me with a network and the internet.
I have also a tablet PC which I attach to my PC so I can use it as a controller. (Not that it is important, but it's for a DAW/Midi controller)

My problem is that whenever I place my tablet, PC starts by ignoring my normal connection and taking the internet from my Tablet (even when it is not connected to the internet). As a result, my internet is de-energized once I tie it, if I'm not as under the wifi on my tablet.

My question is, how could I give priority to my network connections, (without turning off the strap attached, as it took), so that it uses the internet from my main network connection?

    Yes.

You will need to BUY a Vista Ultimate Upgrade product key/license disk

  • How can I turn off and my Windows 7 deregistrer authentic?

I have a laptop HP that came with Vista 32 bit. My young nephew upgraded to Windows 7. Then, by mistake, I installed Win 7 home premiumto. I tried to recover the operating system to its original state, but could not solve the problem and bought Win 7 Ultimate. My fight to return my laptop to its original state has not been resolved. Finally, I bought a set of a patner HP recovery disks. Then, these recovery discs has solved the problem. Now, I have my laptop in its original state and can use software, I have and which only work with Vista 32 bit. At the same time, I have 3 genuine versions of Windows 7: one is a upgraded version, another is a version Home premium and the third is a version of Win 7 Ultimate. I deserve to be called Dummy. But, can I disable/remove the version 3 of Windows 7 I have. They are all authentic. Could someone help me please?

    Reza

You don't need to disable them (there is no way to do it). When you go to use them, you may have to activate by phone.

Home Premium and Ultimate retail or OEM versions?

They have enabled on the computer or just installed?

also the Fn key works more :(

    > Although I still can't get the FN button work. I can not see the maps flash at the top of the screen, but I could never before. I tried to restart the flash cards, but which does nothing. I don't want to do that all the time, like using my mouse to click on them. I just want to use the FN key to use.
You can turn off flash cards so that they don't appear on the display.

So navigate to start > all programs > TOSHIBA > utilities > settings for Flash cards

Clear the option allow the mouse to make the maps. This means that cards Flash appears only if you press a FN key, but not with the mouse more. :)

  • L7680 All In One - scan light turns off before full page is scanned

When I choose to scan or copy, my L7680 starts the function chosen, but after scanning about 3 inches of the page, the scan turns off light and the rest of the document will appear as solid black. Any ideas on what is the problem and how it can be repaired?

    Thank you.

    Hi there SLM64,

    Welcome to the Forums

I noticed the problem you are having with your Officejet Pro L7680.

I understand that you notice the scanner bulb turn off and it's causing most of your explorations or copies of out of the black. It is a hardware problem that seems as the scanner begins to fail. I have a guide below for you that means two things to try, however, if the guide does not solve the problem, I would suggest calling technical support of HP. They have an option of recovery for you to buy a new unit.

A "Failure of the Scanner" Message appears on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy, or fax

  • Can I turn off Photoshop on my old laptop so I can use it on my new laptop?

I know, Photoshop CC can be downloaded on 2 platforms such as 2 laptops. I already have Photoshop on 2 laptops, but I get a new. I'm not planning to use Photoshop on my old laptop. Is there a way I can disable Photoshop on my old laptop and put it on my new? Thank you.

The CC has been activated twice.

    You must turn off PC,

When install you it on the third computer or for the third time & when activate you, if it installed & activated twice already, there will be a possibility to disable previous computers, please click that. (To disable preinstalled machine, open any application Adobe CC > Help Menu > Signout.)

Then it will allow you to activate on your new machine,

Now you can go to your first computer, disconnect & reconnect CC Desktopp app, launch any product, if there is no product to buy, which invites there will be an option for "software license", please click on the & sign.

It will reactivate the CC on the first machine.

You have already disabled it a machine, so you can activate it on the third computer.

  • Latitude D610 screen turns off after the Windows XP loading screen

I'm having a problem with my Latitude D610 where after the Windows XP loading screen, the screen turns off completely. No BSOD, no login screen, just a white screen. This started happening at least a year, however, I bought a new computer if it is passed to the hatch. I tried the system restore when it appeared first without success. The computer starts in Mode safe. Any suggestions?

If it starts in mode without failure, then its almost certainly a driver and with the blank screen problem, I suspect a display driver.
