This looks like a lightweight access point. In my view, there is no t conf option, because everything is done through the controller.

  • Satellite A135 - new installation of HARD drive "windows cannot be configured.

I have a portable Satellite A135-S4467 with a hard drive failed (WD 160 GB).
I bought a new hard drive (WD 320 GB).
When I try to install windows vista (32 bit) on the new hard drive by using the original factory software installation CD toshiba, I get the following error message:
"windows cannot be configured to run on this computer hardware.

After reboot, Windows will start normally or in safe mode.
I updated the BIOS to version 1.9.
I tried also to install the updated RAID/AHCI drivers of intel to the windows installation, as recommended by the windows forums - I always get the same error message, even after several attempts to completely reinstall windows.

Several forums, I searched for recommended to change the settings of the HDD (RAID COSM) in the BIOS.
I don't know how / if to do this. When I enter the BIOS, I see the hard drive, but I can't select it, so I couldn't try it.

It seems that I've tried everything, without success. I took care to unplug all external/etc devices during the installation as well. I also did all the drivers are for vista 32 bit.

    Help, please!

Have you tried to install the OS using the Microsoft installation disc?
There may be a compatibility problem with your new HARD drive.

Do you get a place another HARD disk capacity not more than 200GB and test it?

  • Cannot open Microsoft Management Console mode author because of current computer policies

Hello, I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

When I type "mmc", I get the following error. I am logged in as administrator.

    ---------------------------
    Microsoft Management Console
    ---------------------------
You cannot open Microsoft Management Console mode author because of current computer policies.
    ---------------------------
    Ok
    ---------------------------

Is this a normal behavior of the default Windows 7? If so, how to launch mmc or not if yes, how can I find the setting that causes this message?

I found the parameter restrict access, which has been the Local computer policy > User Configuration > administrative templates > Windows components > Microsoft Management Console > prevent the user from author, Enabled.

When I turned this option off, I could run mmc.

    Hello

you are using IBM AIX PowerHA for your database (active/passive) configuration. then you just install the binaries 'once' on one of the nodes. then coordinate with your operating system administrator to configure the fail the test scenarios.

for your question. before you start the database, make sure that there are no "orphaned" oracle process using the UNIX grep command:

    $ ps - ef | grep ora

Kill the oracle of the hanging of the process to release the lock on the database file handle:

    $ kill-9

    I hope this helps.

What are the best settings for the CPU plus top MHz high power Turbo is for the two parameters below?

Configurable TDP - Normal or - level 1

    X2apic-on or - off mode

Its use is for BOINC CPU as PrimeGrid project

    Thank you

    Hello

    bcavnaugh
What are the best settings for the CPU plus top MHz high power Turbo is for the two parameters below?

None of these options will affect the States of frequency or the power of the CPU.

    bcavnaugh
Configurable TDP - Normal or - level 1

It is a power and a cool option. Nominal will set fans operate at normal speeds. Level 1 will decrease the speed of the fans.

    bcavnaugh
    X2apic-on or - off mode

This enables or disables the new method of communication of the CPU. This should only be disabled if the operating system does not support. The processor will work more effectively by enabling this option. It can affect performance, but not in the States MHz or raw turbo.

    Thank you

    Hello

Can someone help me on how to access the CLI mode in cisco sf 302 - 08 p 8-port 10/100 Managed switch. I treid the each method they mentioned in the administration guide. I am not able to enter the command debug mode and comand menu after resetting the default password. Once connected, sound directly to guide me to switch main menu.

    Hello FAL, Mark,.

Thank you for your participation in the community of support to small businesses. My name is Nico Muselle of Cisco Sofia HWC.

To access the CLI, you must make sure that the version of the firmware on your switch is at least 1.1.0.73 or preferably higher. Then activate telnet or ssh on the switch and opening of these sessions or a console session you will see that you are in CLI mode. You can return to the console to function menu using the menucommand.

I hope that answers your questions!
