  I bought a subscription, and now I am trying to install Adobe CC applications on my computer.

  Unfortunately, NOTHING works as it should...

  I tried calling support but they don't have me recalled more.

  Today, I finally managed to get the creative Cloud Desktop application installed, but it keeps giving me this message:

  "Creative cloud Setup no longer works, please uninstall and download again...". »

  I think I've tried all the suggestions, I've found. Uninstalling the application, repair disk permissions, stop and restart, using the cleaning tool, rename the OOBE folder in my library... All measures of any order and with a reboot and repair the permissions of the drive between the two.

  Also, I followed all the steps here: use of the cleaning tool CC to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

  The only thing I can think that don't go as described is the verification of the cleaning tool, also no log file is created.

  -When you see the message "Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool completed successfully", click on quit and restart your computer.

  -In a text editor, such as TextEdit, open /Users/ [user name] / Adobe Creative cloud cleanser Tool.log.

  
  

  I don't know what remains perhaps, is there anyone who has had similar problems and has found a way around it?

  Try following the procedure below

  Click on Finder and then hold down command + SHIFT + G keys on your keyboard

  It will open to go to the window of the folder, type exactly ~/Library and click Go

  Then open Application Support > Adobe files

  Files Recycle Bin AAMUpdater and OOBE.

  Now click on the finder and press command + SHIFT + G keys on your keyboard.

  This time, type / library and click on Go.

  Be sure to remove ~ symbol.

  Then open Application Support > Adobe files.

  Basket AAMUpdater, Adobe Application manager, records OOBE.

  Now click on Finder and then hold command + SHIFT + U keys on your keyboard.

  It will open the Utilities folder.

  Trash Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager files

  Cleanup tool download and run CC below link

  Accept the license agreement and click Adobe Application Manager

  Click then on clean selected

• Cannot get the PDF2ID plug-in to work.

  I bought the PDF2ID add-on for Mac and installed using the InDesign extensions Manager.

  It's in the Extensions listed as PDF2ID Lite 4.0.1 Recosoft Corp. Manager.

  InDesign Recosoft has among the drop down menus. I clicked and I get the following error message:

  PDF2ID can not detect the PDF2ID folder. The folder was moved from its previous loacation.
  PDF2ID requires that the files in the folder to use. Navigate to the folder PDF2ID from dialogue that appears. (2002)

  I haven't moved all folders. This dialogue is displayed, locate the PDF2ID application folder.

  I did a search, there is a folder PDF2ID. A InDesignPlugin that contains versions and resources as well as a "grayed out" Unix executable files. Which satisfies this request either.

  And now I'm stuck.

  Following this PDF2ID problem.

  I got instructions from Recosoft and the plugin works fine.

  The problem was that I had used the trial version was that collide with the PDF2ID plug-in.

  If anyone has this same problem, please email Recosoft to [email protected].

  I must say, the plug-in has been spare me steps.

  I recently updated my Satellite P100 - 188 (PSPA3E) to run Windows XP Pro SP2.

  I can't have the CD/DVD writer to work well. I looked on the downloads page, but there seems to be nothing. It reads the CD/dvd, but allow me to write to them. If I put a blank CD in nothing happens.

  Someone has ideas how to get this working again?

  Maybe you should install like Nero burning software. Original Toshiba image (WXP MCE) it was an engraving Sonic RecordNow software pre-installed.

  Back again with this problem and this thread began again as it appears the original thread has been 'locked' ~ been awhile so it is aceptable.

  Using the windows tool "FixIt" on a blank DVD got all green ticks OK but when I went to play DVDs ~ nothing!

  To be honest, the situation is strange to me, and I think that you spent too long with all this.

  In my opinion, you have to manage fast. The fist issue is: either defective or not ODD?
  The reasons why it doesn't work with a Toshiba DVD player is not relevant at all. You can test it with VLC media player to see how it works.

  So I recommend you to follow:
  You should not change your preinstalled operating system that you use for work or anything else. Try to get another HARD drive. Swap and install the OS by using recovery disc. Test the functionality of the WEIRD with the settings to be sure that the problem persists or not.

  In the end, if you are willing to trade the player s check Manual of use and you will be find the list of all compatible optical disc readers you can use with your model of laptop.

  BTW - my suggestion has not changed.  I still think that you get just around issues that still exist, probably, by fixing the little things you need at a given time.

  Backup important files/folders (for you) (including documents, photos, music, Favorites, Internet favorites, files installable application, serial numbers, product keys, spreadsheets, you saved to the desktop email, etc.) and wipe the disc completely - I'd even a zero writing on the disc (formatting) before installing the operating system from the original installation media.  Then install your applications and restore your files.

  As to what they were asked to do... Always seems that you saved the file as a *. TXT file and not a *. REG or there is much more wrong with your machine (see my suggestion above.)

  I tried to install the trial version of lightroom on my iMac 5K retina cc. Everything works well until the download and installation of Adobe Creative cloud. Installation went through, but thereafter the Creative Desktop application did not start and I wasn't able to install lightroom cc on my computer. Before that I have download creative cloud I entered my username/password username Adobe ID.

  I really want to give a chance to lightroom, but I can't even try it.

  A few old machines will not recognize a USB keyboard/mouse until after Windows starts.  Look at the back of your computer and see if you have a PS/2 (round) connector for a keyboard and a mouse.  If you do, then you will need to use a keyboard with a round PS/2 connector or a USB-to-PS/2 adapter and plug the PS/2 connector on the back of your computer so that it recognizes the keyboard until Windows starts on your keyboard.

  The SATA driver applies to your hard drive.  A CD of start-up/installation of Windows XP does not recognize a SATA hard drive.  If you install Windows, you will need to hit F6 at the right time and insert a floppy with the SATA driver on this subject.
