Cannot parse after loading Office 2007

It seems that the installation of the new version of OFfice 2007, my scanning capabilities have since disappeared.  I think that would be the problem.  I have a HO Officejet 7210 all in one.  I usually use Corel Draw or Corel Paint to scan the acquired scanner still appears as the HP twain but when I try to scan I get the windows Setup window and it calls for an installation disc.  I have DL all the current drivers.  but it can not find the scan.msi file.   Any help is appreciated.  Windows XP Pro

The problem of not being able to scan after that loading Office 2007 has been addressed through an online chat with an HP technician.  It took 40 minutes.  For the record I have an XP, a Vista and Mac work all through my HP All in One 7210-no has ever had a problem with any impression.  It turns out that the scan.msi file disappeared after Office 2007 installed on the HP > after too long to try as many bugs that didn't work, the tech finally proposed I put in the original installation disc find the scan.msi file and copy it to the folder C/programs/HP and/or the program in C/Hewlett Packard.  That fixed it!  All right.  I do not understand then that when I told him I kept getting the error message was to locate the missing .msi file, it didn't suggest the obvious solution first.  They are paid by the minute?  In any case, it works now, FYI - any any graphics program, CoreDraw, Corel Photopaint, Photoshop Design and Word, I think has a "select him scanner-usually a Twain and then a command image acquisition."  You do not have to go through HP Director, although some of these programs scan to the Director.  The function of chat line, although long was a good immediate response to a problem.

  • OfficeJet 8500: Cannot parse after upgrade Windows 10

After the upgrade to 64-bit Windows 10 Pro, I can't scan my OfficeJet 8500 909n.  I get this message:

"The analysis cannot because another program or computer using the networked HP imaging device. Try again later. »

I have a / re installed HP Solution Center 5 times.  I restarted routers.  I'm power cycling my PC and the printer several times.

I can print to this printer from three PC.  I can't get the scan to work as before.  This has been driving me crazy for more than 5 hours.  I'm honestly ready to go back to Windows 7.  The printer is connected via the cable network.

    Can someone please help?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thanks for the comments, you can try this alternative software:

    HP extended Scan

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.

Let us know if it works.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: Cannot parse after upgrade to Windows 10

After switching to Windows 10, I found that I could not scan to my computer using a USB connection.  I ran HP print and Scan doctor and he said that everything was OK and I could actually scan a document into my computer using the "scan test" function of the program.  However, the normal scan would not work with the error msg 'connection to computer is lost.  So I uninstalled the current HP printer driver software and downloaded the recommended replacement.  The scan does not always for the same reason.  Still printing HP and Scan doctor said that everything is perfect with the scanner but now when I try to do a 'test' scan I get the message "HP Officejet Pro 8620 is not found".

This same package worked for many other clients, so I don't feel the driver/software it is, on the contrary, I suspect that the question has something to do with the computer.  I'm always happy to do everything that I can to help if you want.

I suggest running the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker. If you do not know how, you can use the following link for instructions: System File Checker: run sfc/scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 10 / 8 / 7.

Another thing we can do to help isolate the problem is to perform a WebScan.

I made some screenshots for you that might help, I know that sometimes it is easier when you have a Visual. You will need to get the printers IP address from the front panel of the printer. You can touch the wireless network icon and view in the menu wireless settings. Take the IP address and enter the address of a browser bar.

In the embedded Web server, click settings

On the left side, click the administrator settings

You will see the following message will appear, click OK

You can now select continue on this site

It may take a few minutes for the next page load. You might even see get a message that says: "Internal system error", if this happens please just refresh the page. (you can tap F5 on the keyboard to refresh)

Once the WebScan is enabled you can click the WebScan tab above and do a scan. Please let me know if it works or not.

  • PDF Maker does not work after loading Office 10

I've read other messages of the forum on this issue and none of the solutions worked.

Office 10 doesn't have a normal.dot file to rename or delete.

I applied the patches to register unsuccessfully

I uninstalled Acrobat 8 and installed Acrobat 9.

I checked the updates of Acrobat 9and loaded those as well.

The Acrobat tab appears in the office applications, but nothing happens when I select Create a PDF file or one of the other selections except preferences in Acrobat.

When I select Preferences it blocks of Word.  Word then restarts itself and said that there is a serious problem with Acrobat AddIn, I need to check updates and I would turn off.  The same goes for Excel as well.

I tried to place C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\PDFMaker\Common\ as a reliable source, but my security settings did not allow.

The add-in is in the Active AddIn section and does not appear in the disabled AddIn section.

I really like this feature.  A resolution would be greatly appreciated.

With OFFICE 2010 and AA8 AA9, you can print to the printer Adobe PDF and nothing more. For compatibility with OFFICE 2010 to PDF Maker, you must use X AA. In addition, if you are on a 64-bit computer, you may need to use the 32-bit version of OFFICE. I don't know if the last X AA is still compatible with the 64-bit version.

  • Cannot parse after installation of new Mac OS 10.6.3

I had no problem with my old OS 10.5 to scan.  The first scan after update 10.6.3 I received the diagnosis, 'Scanner could not be initialized. Scanner not found. "Printer worked fine.  I then reinstalled the CD software HP and now I get diagnosis "failed to open a session on this unit. No scanner found. "Printer still works.  What should I do next?

I can now scan with OS 10.6.3 after downloading the drivers for the HP customer service > all-in-one printer, HP OfficeJet J4680 > Software and Driver Downloads.  The Apple software update did not work, but this driver is HP.

  • Cannot parse after changing routers (MF229)

Everything worked well and then over the weekend, I changed my router. The printer's IP address has changed.

I can always print, didn't reset anything to print.

But I can't scan. The Toolbox MF said "a supported scanner is not installed." The Scan MF network utility does not display a scanner.

I read in an old post that a similar (2013) problem has been resolved by reinstalling the drivers. Is this really necessary?

    Thank you!

I finished to download and install the new drivers. I also had to install the Patch of digitization of the network. Now everything works.

  • AIO 810 cannot parse after re - install

My PC is a Dell Dimension 9100, 4 GB of RAM, XP Pro SP3-500 GB HD.

I'm extremely frustrated with my 810. For years, he has worked without problem. A few weeks ago, I replaced the C:\ drive with a new drive and reinstalled the 810 since the Dell that accompanies the 810. I think that it's all in a folder called C:\DELL.

It prints normally and a copy of its Panel 'copy' button but will not scan or copy from the menu screen (or whatever the thing that appears when you double-click on its icon).

Try to get it to scan or copy computer throws an error screen that explains, in part, "Scan was not seuccessful" and blames me for check cables, recycle, power, etc. No joy.

I then downloaded new drivers from Dell, still no joy. I reinstalled several times with the same result.

Someone at - it a fix for this situation? Thanks in advance for any help!

    Terry

    Terry,

Try the steps below and see what happens.

First run, delete print jobs to eliminate any print job stuck in the queue.

    Unplug the printer.

Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure that the printer is deleted. Driver Manual printer removal

Download the correct drivers or use the diskette from the Dell printer.

  • Cannot parse after upgrading to Snow Leopard - C4580

I have the HP all in one single C4580. No problems of printing or scanning up to that I've upgraded to Snow Leopard. I can still print but I can't scan unless I have used Image Capture. The printer does not appear in the window HP all in one device selector. I did set up the wizard again but my home network says that the server has failed and will not recognize the scanner. Anyone with the same problem?

    [title edited for clarity]

You still have the HP software for 10.5 installed.  It does not play well with 10.6.  Let's remove this way:

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Now run a software update.

Then, remove and reinstall the printer in System Preferences, Print & Fax.

You do not have the software now since Snow Leopard as well print & scan drivers built-in. scan from Preview apps or Image Capture. Scan from the front panel of the printer does not work yet.

After upgrade Office 2007 to Office 2010 on my Vista, then my computer turns off after being idle for a while. When I turn on my computer, I get the splash screen indicating that Windows has finished unexpectedly and I would like to start in safe mode or normally (pluss a couple more choice...).

Appears not to occur if there is activity going on--as if do me some work or have itunes playing music or I'm just surfing the internet. Curiously, it seems not to happen if I close Internet Explorer and Outlook.

I shot all automatic updates for Windows Vista (32 bit) and Microsoft Office.

    Concerning

    Hi B Odd Andersen,

I want to clarify if your computer seems to be sleeping or it completely closed after being idle for a while.

Method 1: If the computer is in power saving mode, check if you can wake the computer from this State by moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard.

Method 2: Change the power to another and check to see if the problem persists
Change, create, or delete a power plan (scheme)

Method 3: check the logs in event viewer for more information on auto-off down

    Open event viewer

What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)

Note: For your safety and security, it is not recommended to disable Windows Update.
Activate the update or disable automatic
