(The Canon EOS Utility software, which I also installed it, is exclusively for my Canon EOS camera models). However, the download of the image does not work either.

  From your description, it seems that if you have connected your iPhone to import your photos, she may have inadvertently changed the overall picture import settings by launching Photos for the first time (since importing default photos for devices iOS in El Capitan's Photos). Firmware or software of your camera may require update for compatibility El Cap.  If the Canon updates are not available, you should wait for them or go back to your version of Mac OS X older but functional.

  If you really Update to a 10.11.x El Cap to the latest version, you can simply need to use OS X recovery completely reinstall Mac OS from the recovery system stored on your startup disk.

• Captive capture, will not transfer files to PC

  I've been using lightroom captive capture for awhile with no problems. Now out of the blue photos are not transferred to the PC. Lightroom says 'transfer of files from camera' small wheel which turns, but nothing happens. I can use the camera to the PC. I have enough space on my hard drive I tried with and without memory card in my camera. With different ports USB on my PC and with different USB cables. Same result. I use: Lightroom cc and Windows 7

  Please turn off the graphics processor of Lightroom preferences.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

  
  

  If the steps above did not then you can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom to return to the default values only.

  Press the SHIFT key + option or shift + alt keys immediately after you restart Lightroom and select Preferences reset in the dialog box.

  I use LR 6.3 on a MACBook Pro with El Capitan 10.11.3 and try captive to capture with a camera Nikon D600. The appliance firmware is up-to-date. The laptop is the capture of the camera as 'Photos' starts when I plug in the camera.

• D810 Captive Capture

  Could someone please help before I go out my hair

  I've never done captive capture before but I have a shoot coming at the end of the month where I have to shoot captive.

  I have a D810 with 15 ft Teather Pro USB 3.0 cable connected to a MacBook Pro under OS X El Capitan and Lightroom CC.

  Before moving to Lightroom CC (today), I had LR5.7 that was supposed to support captive capture with the D810.  However, lightroom could not / would not detect the camera.   I contacted Adobe who advised the upgrade to LRCC that supported this captive capture with the D810.  However, Lightroom, for reasons unbeknownst to me, seems to refuse to recognize the camera.  I tried a number of different methods of connection and turn it on, but nothing seems to work.

  I saw the link Adobe captive troubleshooting online for capture, but nothing of what is described work or seems relevant to my particular problem, and to be honest, it seems outdated too.

  Am I just being stupid and overlooking on something really simple or captive capture with CRD and Nikon D810 just doesn't.

  All the answers, including the parameters of the camera that I could be on would be greatly appreciated before that I find myself completely bald...!

  AutoPlay does not start for my Canon camera now that I have installed a new hard drive. Dell has spent an hour setting up AutoPlay to open Windows Live, which is what I did before. Is there a solution to this? I can access Live, but I just want to do it automatically, as it did before.

  I found a lot on the Internet about wiaacngr.exe not opening not or refuses to recognize the camera.  My problem is almost the opposite!   Whenever I connect my Canon camera, by USB, my current laptop (Windows XP Pro SP3 of v5), wiaacngr.exe opens a window asking me to select the program to start.  But it offers only two options: M/S Office Word and scanner and camera assistant, neither of which I want to use.  If I close the window...  Not much, but it's a nuisance.  I would be happy if she has proposed to launch work stations.  I then click on the box "Make this every time" and will never see the window.  Otherwise, I'd be happy to remove the program completely.  Can someone tell me how to achieve one of these?  S ' Please!

  What is the model of your Canon camera?

  It is likely that you will need to download the driver chipset on the site of computer manufacturers.

• Capture of the camera without displaying on-screen

  Hi all

  I've been playing with this idea for awhile and it seems impossible, but I was wondering if anyone has been able to do.

  I would like to capture from the camera without displaying the viewfinder direct feed on screen. I tried in many ways, like simple do not add the field that contains the camera feed to the screen, the video setting to not be visible etc.. But all of these methods lead to a NullPointerException when getSnapshot() is called, because it is trying to capture what is displayed on the screen.

  Is it possible that this could be possible?

  Tethered shooting works fine with Lightroom 6.4 on El Capitan.

  You can then go ahead and buy Lightroom and perform the tethered shooting.

  Triple-check that you set the year, month, day, and hour just fine.  Given the small fonts and the gray color scheme hard to read, it is not uncommon to miss that you have set the wrong year, for example.   If this still doesn't help, please post a screenshot of high resolution of your view of LR showing the problem. Make sure you have the date/time showing under the library thumbnails (view > View Options).  (You cannot attach the screenshot of an email response - you need to get back on the Web to download).
