  I can't install the driver for my device wireless on my laptop Dell Vostro 1500 running Windows XP Professional. The laptop came with Windows Vista Basic Edition. I tried to install the driver for Windows XP from the CD of original drivers that came with the laptop and also by downloading from the Dell Web site.   Try to update the drivers using Windows Update.  If this does not work, try the versions of Vista of Intel and Ricoh under Chipset drivers on the website of downloads & drivers for Vostro Notebook 1500 . Make a restore point first.

  I just bought a vostro 1500 laptop with the 256 MB nvidia 8600M GT graphics card.  When I spoke a dvi port to dell customer service, I got two different answers.  a tech told Vostro is not normally a dvi output port, but they do if you get a 256 MB nvidia card, and another has told me that no all together.  anyone can check it for me?

  Mouse configuration panel - look for the TouchPad settings - perhaps under the parameters of the device and your own tab
  may be different (it is NOT the Scrollings tab which is for the mouse). On some, you can activate
  and disable scrolling and/or define the size of the area and the sensitivity of the touchpad.

  Some will have a TouchPad progam/control icon in the Notification area near the clock-
  at the bottom right.

  Some models also have quick access to toggle the touchpad keys.

  It was reported a problem with Dell Touchpads too sensitive - check with

  Unfortunately, it is not wwan adapter in your laptop. Laptop specs short descriptions on the Lenovo site includes the words "WWAN option. This means laptop is "wwan ready" has only - player of sim cards and wwan antenna installed, no wwan modem itself.

  Device Manager confirms that.

  I updated an old laptop, Dell Vostro 1500 from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Everything is great, the touch pad works, it is much faster than it used to be, one thing is, none of the USB 4 ports work.

  I went to the dell website, all I get is an alert indicating the device is not compatible with Windows 10 and that everything is up to date. I couldn't find the specific drivers on the website of intel and their program detects that too, everything is up-to-date

  I tried to uninstall and looking for changes, that did not work. I also tried fix registry of CCleaner

  The model of your system is not compatible with W10. I advise you to stay with W7/W8.1 unless you want to try your luck with W10.
