CD audio enhanced

I have a CD with audio, but also video tracks. Vista recognizes only the audio CD, i.e. when I go on my computer hard drive name comes up with some Audio CD next to it.

So when I try the Explorer, only the 5 beaches of Audi are indicated. If I open the CD on my laptop XP a work web page comes up with options to play the audi or the video files (under an index.html file).

How can I change the settings on Vista to display all the files on the CD not only the most

Thank you

Nigel

    Hi Marco

As I can see from another thread, you Satellite L50-A-1CU. According to the specifications of the laptop this laptop was offered with pre-installed 64 bit ML WIN8.1.
Preinstalled OS contains all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities, so I want to ask you if there is a problem with the feature.

Please don't get me wrong, but I use laptop 4 years but always with the original substance of preinstalled and everything works perfectly so I don't see the reason to change anything if the machine works well and pre-installed OS is stable.

One last thing. Do not use the Microsoft drivers. Some of them are offered as optional Windows updates. Don change anything. Use the original Toshiba drivers only.

  • Windows audio 10 X121e

    Hello

I have a X121e (3045CTO) and recently did the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Everything works fine except the audio, integrated speakers and the audio jack.

There is no sound at all from WMP, VLC or Chrome with clip & songs.

I tried to uninstall & reinstall the latest Conexant 20671 SmartAudio HD (8.32.34.50).

Test sounds do not work & troubleshooting he finds nothing.

I tried also all formats (for example, 24-bit, 44100 Hz), as suggested on some websites, but feel no joy.

Return to Windows 7 is a last resort, because it must be a new installation.

I contacted Lenovo about this, which suggested to contact MicroSoft.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Philippe

Google a lot and found this and it worked for me (to my x121e it works. My t420 is at home and I'll try it later). Seems that a lot of people have problems with this device under Win10:

Playback devices - select Conexant - configure. The speaker test produces a popup message error without code or usable information.

Go to properties - Advanced and disable the check box next to "Enable Audio enhancements" is committed.

  • L50D-a satellite - poor audio stereo / speaker jack

You have connected the laptop to your stereo equipment using the headphone jack?
    Is this correct?

In this case, you must change the parameters of the stereo (EQ, etc.)

In addition, you should check the pre-installed software called TOSHIBA Audio Enhancement Utility.
The Toshiba Audio enhancement request has been designed to deliver an audio experience strongly improved when listening for example your pieces of music favorite.

  • Problem restarting audio IDT on Windows XP (DV3-2150EP)

    Hello

I followed the guides on this forum to downgrade my laptop (DV3-2150ep) for Windows XP and I have the last problem: the driver IDT audio. The original driver on the site of HP drivers for this laptop did not work because the helmet kept silent when the socket is connected. After experimenting with different versions of the IDT driver, I found a working version (SP46918), but my situation the following:

-The devcon is necessary to restart the Microsoft UAA to mount devices IDT show after each connection, but that's OK.

-What I can't solve: even if I do the thing with the devcon, a update manual (forced) device is necessary to reinstall the sp46918 driver files from Device Manager to get the audio up to-and-operational.

    1. is there an idea that the driver IDT done when he is obliged to update? In this case, I can write a script to perform the same operations of each connection.

    2. is there a tool to automate a peripheral forced update of command line? I tried a lot of tools to backup/restore of devices without success. Only DriverMax works, but it doesn't have a CLI interface. :-|

    3. any other solution found by others?

    4 install Vista. :-((((((

    Thank you

I have to apologize, it turned out that I had F05 or F.06 instead of the latest version of the BIOS. Earlier I have not updated the BIOS as the changelogs have shown no related audio enhancement. I have reflashed the machine under Windows XP (However it is not recommended to several places, but I had success with that), and that's, audio in Windows XP started to work perfectly with the SP46918 without hacks.

  • Final Cup Audio improve the Discussion

    I'm curious...

Why the Audio improvements in Final Cut, for lack of better words, suck?  How is it that you are 'improvement' of the audio and it ends up sounding as if you were inside a tin can?  I'm just curious, because when you typically add a filter, it in fact "improves" everything you are working on.  Audio enhancement is entirely used for something else?  Maybe once out a 1000 x, especially background noise suppression, has worked the way it seems like it should work.  Like why the computer thinks that a perfectly fine tuned music video which is already been published by a production company has errors?  Looking forward to the cat.

    Chris

    PS

    I noticed similar:

The audio above is apples own sounds iLife.

Out of the box 'Apple', he suggests using noise removal, is not.

This setting market gives you the audio effect "in a tin can".

Thing, it's a starting point not a final result, tweak, as required for the 'Sweet Spot' If audio was indeed need to remove background noise.

My approach is to connect a set of quality headphones and listen.

  • need driver or app for ' beats audio control center "for HP Envy 14 1110nr

    Hi all

I have a HP Envy 14 model 1110nr. A while back I reformatted my computer and I tried to restore it to its 'presets' and something went wrong during the format. So I tried to use my recovery disks that I had done and for some reason whenever I got to the last disk as 86% done I would get an error and the installation from the recovery discs would not work.

For awhile, I thought maybe that could drive was bad, but after much research, I saw that a few people with my laptop even "HP Envy 14" had exactly the same problem in trying to use their recovery disks. If a guy said that he solved the problem by downloading Windows 7 64 bit and fresh install of iso of windows 7. So I did and it was working fine, and now I have my laptop works very well. One thing however that I do not have the Beats Audio Control center app came with my laptop. I tried to look on the official site of HP drivers however I can't find anything that has to do with «Beats Audio»

Did someone here knows where I can download either the driver for the "centre of control audio beats" or application if a driver is not required?

I would like to get the app to control audio specific beats for my laptop-> "HP Envy 14 1110nr".

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would great appreciate it...

Thank you all for your time and your help.

You can try to remove all the current drivers first and then installing those latest. I suggest that also consult you the site Web of Conexant for latest drivers, as is the real manufacturer of the sound chip.

If this does not help, you can also try to disable all audio enhancements, see:

    Hello.

    • Were you able to use this software sucessfully without this error before?
    • What changes have been made on the computer before this problem?
    • You are able to hear the sound on your computer when this happens?

Try disabling the enhanhcments on your computer and check if that helps.

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking on the button start picture of the Start button, click Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking sound.

    2. on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    3. click on the enhancements tab and then select Disable all improvements.

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated. If disabling audio enhancements does not resolve the problem, contact your computer manufacturer for assistance.

If you have any third-party codec pack installed on the computer, you can try to temporarily disable the codec pack or try to uninstall it and check if the movies and songs to jump into Windows Media Player. Later, reinstall or enable the codec pack after verification.

    Hi leonhal,

Are you having the same problem with the files on the computer?

    Two things you can try:

Method 1: Turn off audio enhancements

Reference: to disable improvements audio speaker

Method 2: Update sound card drivers

Because the problem recurs in many of the CDs as well, try to update your sound card drivers. Most of the problems seem to be caused by the wireless, video and audio drivers being unable to work together properly. Like the manufacturers to find solutions, they are incorporated into the latest version of the driver. If it's a good idea to keep up-to-date. Reference: update drivers: recommended links
