CDR on CUCM 6.1.2 problem

Hi, guys.

I need assistance with CDR reports CUCM 6.1.2.

I checked for calls within a period of two days, I found a hundred calls have been sent / received but when I checked the statistics of calls, the necessary values (package sent, packet received, jitter, varVQMetrics) of all calls is "null".

Can someone explain to me, why do I not this result, and what needs to be done in order to get the actual values.

Knowing that I had the same problem with CUCM 9.1.1 where most statistical calls raising were "NULL."

Best regards.

Hello

Usually, it's one of two things:

-You could have checked "Load only the COR" in charge of database of CAR settings (most likely)

-RMC may not be enabled in the Service settings (less likely, as it's enabled it by default)

  • Cisco DX80 Microphone Skype for business

    Hello

I am facing a problem with a Cisco DX80 model. The device is registered to a CUCM.

The problem is the microphone when you use Skype for business. Please see the attached picture.

In the settings for the Skype for business, I can choose the DX80 as speaker and ringtone, but there is no entry for the DX80 microphone like the one for the laptop itself. Like the screen DX80 is also used as control for the laptop off course gives a poor sound quality to the listener. Now, I would like to have the Skype to use the construction of microphones in to the DX80. But it seems not to be possible. We use THIS software for the endpoints DX80.
I tried to make calls using the DX80 as videoconferencing unit to another system of videoconf Cisco test and here we have no problem with the microphone / sound of the system.
Of course, the problem is that the microphone can not be chosen in the settings of the Skype for business. I guess it must be possible?

    Best regards
    Brian

When you have a laptop connected to the DX80 or any end point of telepresence, you can use it as an additional monitor and speaker, the microphone is not connected, and cannot be used with the computer.

  • Content visible .bar

Developers who previously developed for meego or symbian know that the content of qml is visible by the decompression of the deb files or sis using certain tools. The two files are the installation for symbian and meego files. To protect the content, most of the developers will put in qrc qml so the qml is compiled in the binary instead of just packed along in Setup only files. Is this issue also affected blackberry Installer. bar.

Yes, he does. BAR can be easily unpacked. QRC packaging is recommended. Also, keep in mind some of us, decompile the CDR files is not a big problem.

Most important here is that BlackBerry is not really allow the download of BARs without control. If you distribute them, your problem.

  • Do you have conversion rules

Hello. I am very grateful to read you my post and thank you to everyone helping around. You do a great job.

I'm currently setting up a CUCM cluster.

    Problem is the following.

We have an autonomous group with a Publisher and Subscriber

We have a PRI line with head 2046800 number configured on a gateway, MGCP (2821 router)
The beach DID for this line is 204-6100 to 204-6899.

Each IP phone extensions are allocated in the format 6yxx, where y is a number between 1 and 8, and x can be between 0 and 9.

Thus, all receivers are 4 digits long and corresponding external number is the same extension preceded with 204; for example:
6100 (internal) extension is 204-6100 (external)
This configuration is functioning normally as it should and all users are able to dial in and out using their DIDs.

    For example: if I call 204-6123, extension 6123 will ring inside and;
If extension 6123 calls me on my landline, 203-6123 caller id appears on my phone.

    The problem is the following:
Management decided to keep only the last 3 digits in the extension number:
So the first '6' will be chosen for all extensions.

All the new extensions will be between 100 to 899

I tried to create the extension number 101 and he attributed to a phone to test.

    (A) problem: the phone loses his DID, in other words, outgoing calls continue with the number of head which is 204-6800, incoming and 204-6101 doesn't get a 'no response '.
on the side of the appellant.

    As a solution, I tried

    (1) to create a model of transformation of 101 at 6101. By that, it was expected that appeals to an external 204-6101
fixed telephone would ring the 101 post.

This was not the case. The problem remains the same as that described above in problem (a)

I know that this could be a very small problem and am missing something somewhere. The reason being that I am really new in CUCM and weak in the translation stuff.

    Thanks again.

Can you suggest a solution please?

Of course, the translation will be the number that sends it to Telco, eg 7101, then to bottom of the template Page of translation the "called transform mask" 101

  • External access to CUCM 10.5 CDRs

    Hello

4.1 CCM 10.5 CUCM migration is now in the process. We have the task of verifying the COR on CUCM 10.5 every 10 minutes, get recent calls list and save it to external DB. On CCM 4.1 to get the necessary data from MSSQL weren't a problem. No idea how to do it on CUCM 10.5? It is possbile to get direct access to the DB? Perhaps, there is a mechanism of export of CUCM CDRs?

    Hi Bagretsov, Evgeniy

You can have all the flat files CDR, transferred to the SFTP server. From there, you can query to external db.

    I followed this Cisco_VCS_Cisco_Unified_Communications_Manager_Deployment_Guide_CUCM_6-1_7_8_and_X7 - 0.pdf deployment guide.

The trunk is in place, but I have the following problem: I can ring since an EX90 recorded on the VCS for a registered on the CUCM 9951 but when I take the call, I have a busy signals (audio and video). When I on the EX90 9951 ring, I have the following message on VC: can not reach the contact.

I have a 503 service unavailable status on the call history and "call rejected" on the event log.

My transformation is OK and the call is sent to my neighbor CUCM zone

You have an idea to solve this problem?

    Thanks for your help

    Best regards

    Bruno Z.

    Hello

Yes, it's true! It seems at first glance a problem with codec negotiation when I see the reason 47 code.

in any case set the region to G.711 trunk phone in case if you have different device pool and the trunk region and ip-phones.

make G.711 end to end and test again.

I have a problem with no sound when I make a local call.

    For example I have:

    6911 number 696

When I make a call from 600 to 696, I can't hear a ring in the combined, but 696 sounds. I have a short beep and then cut.

But if I make the same call and press twice the MIC OFF button on the 600, I can hear in handset ring.

I guess that the problem may be with a firmware on the phones?

    Someone had this problem?

  • problem of presentation on SIP calls in CUCM-VSC

    Hi all

If you would notice, I will be happy.

Where an end point is registered to CUCM - 8.6.2.21900 - 5 gave a lecture on the MCU MSE 8510, sharing presentation is shown on the media channel, it uses no content channels. But the same endpoint is registered in the VCS - X.7.2.1 and to appeal to MCU SIP, there is no problem, the channels of media and presentation are different.

End point SIP call-->--> VCS--> MCU CUCM - media and presentation are on the same channel.

Call--> VCS--> MCU SIP end point - media and presentation are on different channels.

    Hello

You can differ if it is hard or software problem when you perform a full recovery. After that your S2410 recovery is to default settings and should work fine unless your CD drive is broken!

If the CD drive is damaged, you must contact a Service partner and they must check that they drive!

  • call of CUCM to the router voice FXS thanks CUBE problem

    Hello

We had a problem in our test environment:

    - - - - Analog telephone

When we on the g711 codec, both directions of appeal are ok.

When we put the codec for g729r8, appeal from analog to IP has no problem. But for reverse, the analog phone can ring but will be disconnected after a few seconds. Before the call is disconnected, we find that the codec is "pre-ietf g729" using the command 'show call active voice brief' on the CUBE.

The configuration of the CUBE and Router (FXS) voice is attached. Really appreciate your advice.

    Thank you!

    Eric

It seems that the analog phone only supports pre - itf g729 format...

Unfortunately this codec format is no longer supported on any ios...

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice/h323/14069-codec-complexity.html#pre_ietf

You can try your luck and see if this pre - itf is available on ios, but I doubt it. You will need to have them on all your dial peers.

     maui-vgw-01(config)#dial-peer voice 100 voip maui-vgw-01(config-dial-peer)#codec g729r8 pre-ietf

The pre-ietf in this command option is not supported in Cisco IOS release 12.2 and later.

  • Call the recovery of CDR and RMC Records Manager

    Hello

I have my tent monitor QOS in a CallManager configuration and so I need access to records CDR/CMR. I read a lot of references to this subject and currently quite confused about which way to go. I know that CDR/CMR obtained records be retrieved a little ways, but it seems to me hit a roadblock in each. So if anyone can advice me which would be the most appropriate, it would be great. I have them listed below.

    (1) access options-mib on the voice gateway CISCO-VOICE-SELECTOR - giving quality of Service for calls active and historical values. But the problem here is if a Cisco Catalyst switch is used as a gateway, this MIB is not supported on it. It relies on many of the other Cisco routers.

    (2) access to the Microsoft SQL db and query the tables of CDR and CMR. But I guess that this option has been deprecated in Call Manager version > 7 or more

    3) CDR/CMR files through SOAP request. Is the format of the request for the COR and the same RMC? I found one example in the XML Developer's guide. But the application doesn't have a parameter that can distinguish between a request for the COR or CMR.

                   http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/SOAP/envelope/"container ="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"" xmlns: xsi = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" > ""

                   http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/SOAP/encoding/"xmlns:ns1 ="http://schemas.cisco.com/ast/soap/">."
                   200511161000
                   200511161059

                   "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/SOAP/Encoding/" xsi: type = "xsd: Boolean" xmlns:soapenc = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" > true.

How can I access the CMR records using this approach. This approach is valid ofr versions of the call manager and the GUY?

    (4) CDR and CMR can be sent as a syslog message using the CISCO-SYSLOG-MIB. Can you please tell me if there is a specific configuration to do for that? Is this valid for all versions of the call manager and the GUY?

If I missed a few approach let me know.

    Receive your answer.

    Concerning

    Roycey

    Roycey,

How are you.  There are many options to be sure.  Let's try to cut through this some:

    roycey_cheeran wrote:

I wouldn't go this route if you are talking about a Cisco UCM deployment.  Yes, you will find information on gateways, but that is not really necessary, and as you have discovered, depending on the platform.

    roycey_cheeran wrote:

    2) Access the Microsoft SQL db and query the CDR and CMR tables. But I guess this option has been deprecated in  Call Manager version > 7 or so

Fix.  In pre-5 x days CDRs were flat files collected by subscribers and send to the Publisher (for a part of MS).  A service at the Publisher (CDRInsert) take these flat files and push them into a database.  It's a MS SQL DB.  Here, the data could be maintained by other applications and processes.  In the version of the device, the CDRs are always grouped at the Publisher, but are kept in the form of flat files.  If you have activated the CDR Analysis and Reporting (ERA) on the CUCM system, flat files will be available in a database format and you can really ask of the CLI on the server.  More information on the CAR in a little.

    roycey_cheeran wrote:

    3) Access the CDR/CMR files through SOAP request. Is the request format for the CDR  and CMR the same? I found an eg in the XML developer guide. But the request has not parameter that can distinguish between a request for the CDR or CMR.

How do I access the CMR records using this approach. Is this approach valid ofr versions of the Call Manager and the CME?

It does not work quite the way you think. The CDR interface on SOAP request that you speak is simply a command you can send to the CUCM system to find out what the CDRs are sitting in the repository.  You can then use the interface to retrieve the CDRs.  The intended use for the COR on demand API is to allow a server to "pick up" billing all CDRs he missed due to a disruption in the communication of the CUCM system.  Concerning the differentiation between the COR and CMR.  I have not watched this API recently, but I recall it's your application/script will need to determine what type of call recording is available through the name of the flat file (cmr vs cdr).  But I could be wrong.

    roycey_cheeran wrote:

    4) CDR and CMR can be sent as syslog message using the CISCO-SYSLOG-MIB. Can you please tell me if there is some specific configuration to be done for this? Is this valid for all versions of Call Manager and the CME?

    I didn't know that's true for CUCM.

For CUCM, I would look to set up a server billing detailed call (CUCM maintenance of web pages).  Billing is fundamentally a FTP/SFTP server which the CUCM cluster will flow the CDRs based on a specified interval.  You just need a FTP/SFTP server IP address (I recommend SFTP) and a user name.  The default interval is 1 minute (defined in the parameters of the business).  You can change the interval.  This will give you the raw data that you can treat to your heart's content.  For CME, the data structure is different and you will need to send details of calls via syslog, I think.  You need normalize recordings if you want to compare/contrast.  I haven't looked this aspect of the CME myself.

I have already mentioned CAR.  It is a Cisco delivered with CUCM application for free. You just allow it.  As a free application, it is not really the most useful.  But it can sometimes meet the exact demand that you are looking to fill. Browse ORC "CDR analysis and Reporting tool.

    HTH.

    Kind regards

I had problems with my sp6000 - it refuses to turn on most of the time. 1 in every 100 tries it could turn as nothing ever was. Normally if the green light turns to less than second, then disappears.

  • Writing on DVD + R, DVD - R and CDR on M300 - what's up?

I'd like some comments on this post. I missed something - or Toshiba have a problem with their software on M300s distribution.

I run a small business, and have a network of 8 PCs. I am constantly evolving of DELLs - and I have just purchase a M300 after very careful consideration. I bought a Multidrive DVD.

I've gradually been bringing the laptop to speed by installing office software, my own files, partitioning of the main drive to separate OS/programs and my Docs. I then added the "additional software" (from CD) provided by Toshiba. Everything seemed hunky dory - so I thought I would create an image (using Acronis image) on DVD - just in case.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the placement of a DVD-R in the drive, it has not been recognized - and could not be formatted. Even with DVD + R. The error message made it clear that the OEM software provided by Toshiba (Sonic DLA) does not recognize these media types (or COR). After a lot of hunting, there is a short note to this effect, buried in the text "read me". By visiting the website of Sonic, they argue that some versions of OEM of DLA will not work with the write-once format discs.
    So much for multiformat!

I then considered using the recovery disk, I had already made (and tested) using the Toshiba Recovery console - just to get the system back to a State first. However, I couldn't read the disc. Once again on the Sonic site there is a list of the compatibility problems with DLA - and one of these programs is WinDVD - one of the two programs that Toshiba provides on his CD "additional Software"! It still gave me problems with the reading recovery disk?

    So now I'm almost snookered.

Fortunately, using a combination of Ghost and image I managed to get back to a working laptop.

Then, I uninstalled Sonic DLA and installed an alternative (Pinnacle InstantCD/DVD). Now I can record to CDR, DVD - RW, DVD + R, DVD - R.

    So my question is this.

Was I forgetting something - or is the version of Sonic DLA provided (closed 4.95 - build 490B41C) inadequate? Similarly is it wise to group "additional software" (Win DVD) that is listed as having an incompatibility with DLA?

    Hello

I'll try and help you with that. First of all, the drive is listed as Multi format to read multiple forms of media. However, and this is the crutch that not all media is the same and does the same specifications. As such, there are inconsistancies and incompatabilities, and while these are few and far between you will always get problems. Second, you cannot format a DVD-r or + R disc you can format only - rw.
According to the version of Sonic shipped on these machines is not a full version, and not later, because since the software was loaded on the machine and then sold Sonic may have released a newer version and why are they doing this? Well because find a fault or an incompatibility with some type of media and need to get out an update to make it work. It's pretty common, and if you use Sonic, nero or others that you'll find it. If you do a recovery DVDs on a DVD with compatibility problems you might get trouble. The fact that you show where able to make it work with another application the problem is with the software and DVD disc and not material in the machine. While I see that this doesn't help much, I want to emphasize that it is not uncommon and will be almost the same for all manufacturing.

Now, I personally recommend divert you to Sonic and use the latest version of the Nero software, this in my opinion is far superior and works with virtually all media.

In response to your question, no you don't have not overlooked anything. Is it wise to this software? Well I think for 99% of all cd/dvd media. If however you have the 1% or so this does not work then I guess that you have right to be annoyed. The most important thing is that you have found something that works in Pinnacle, I would go with that, its probably a better software package anyway.

  • Carpet * does not play a UJ - 846 s CDR and DVDR player

    I think that the drive is a carpet * a s drive, uj - 846.
It used to play and read the CDR and DVDR, but now it doesn't.
    How can I fix?

The computer recognize even there is a disc in the drive now when I put one less than his Blanck.

It looks a bit like a hardware problem. What do you think?

Before I will propose the replacement of CD/DVD drive you must remove the drive from Device Manager and reboot the laptop.
After the restart new BONE will again install the CD/DVD drive

In addition, you should access the registry and should remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Last bbut not least, you should try different CD and DVD media.
If this wil help nto the chances are that the player works bad and must be replaced.
