  • Satellite A665-S6050 - wireless keeps dropping

    Hello

I have a Satellite A665-S6050 who keeps dropping my internet connection every 15 minutes. I'm sure this isn't my router. This happens in my library home, second home, main, Starbucks, appoint you.

I have to click on the connection many times sometimes disable internet and then reconnect or restart the computer, etc.. The weird part is that the window that appears when I knocked on the connection icon in the right corner of the computer shows that I am connected, but the small icon itself has that. on this subject. I'm so sick and tired of remove connections in the middle of paying bills and others, it becomes really aggravating. This just started a few months ago.

Is there someone out there who has had this problem and can tell me how to fix it? Thank you!

    Hi ctay122,

Let me guess. This happens while you are using the Eco mode on your laptop, right?

I ask this question because I noticed the same behavior on my Satellite A660 and the reason is that the WLAN Card for energy savings settings will be activated in eco mode to save energy. What you have to do is disable management feature in the power management Windows for the power of energy WLAN eco profile. You must configure the network card wireless for maximum performance, then the connection will not be lost.

  • Satellite C855D PSCC2E - Wireless keeps dropping

    Hello

I was hoping someone could suggest what might be wrong here.
When I turn on my laptop, I have often problems of wireless connectivity (other devices can connect to the radio without problem during these outages). A reboot or two usually solves the problem, but it's pretty boring.

Strangely, the problem varies. Sometimes the wireless NETWORK card can see the router and tells me I have an internet connection, and I can ping the default gateway. But there is no internet connection.
Other times I can find the router but it tells me that there is no internet connection.
And sometimes it can not detect all signals wireless at all.

    I have a laptop C855D, PSCC2E.
The wireless NETWORK card is a Realtek RTL8723AE PCI-E MC 802.11.n.
Windows tells me that my driver software is up-to-date.

I wonder if anyone has had similar problems or that she can offer suggestions?

Does it happen with the AC adapter plugged in, or by using only the power of dough mode?

In which case it would only happen by using battery power mode, I recommend to change the saving parameters as shown here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD12017W0001R01.htm

Watch wireless adapter power saving Mode settings
Also an update of the WLan driver would be recommended.

Have you tried to update the driver WLan? If this is not the case, do it!
Try to download the latest version of the driver. If the driver Toshiba page does not the latest one please check the card WLan manufacturing site; Perhaps Intel or Atheros.

Have you tried to disable encryption and to test the performance? It and if anything does not work you can set it back again once!

  • Y580 with Win 8 Wireless keeps itself turning off during sleep - new edition.

    I have a newer Y580 with Windows 8.

I've had this computer for months and the wireless worked perfectly well. I did no new changes and updates that I can remember recently have run.

  • HP 8610: Wireless keeps being settled WE

I have a new printer 8610, and although I put Wireless OFF several times, it returns!  What causes this and how do I make sure the wireless setting is OFF?  The printer is connected by USB and he didn't need a Wi - Fi connection.   In addition, when the wireless connection of the printer power is on, it interferes with the microcell and prevents to make or receive phone calls.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Thank you!  That seems to have put on the thing.  I have at least 20 scanned documents today without being bothered by the evil blue light

  • DMA2100 Wireless keeps resetting or disconnection

I have a dsl with built-in router n wireless modem.  My guard dma2100 media extender find and drop the signal for some reason any.  Them is not interfernace of the system as I tired of to move around the dma2100.  I even got it 2 feet away routher and it will say that I need to reconnect to the wireless device.  Which would be causeing the deivce to continue to do that.  I worked befor without problem only recently, it has started to do this.

    fix a problem:

Change the setting on your routher WPA TKIP (not wpa2).  Since then I have the netgear DNG2000 had to go to the wireless settings tab and change the mode of up to 270mbps to 130mbps per second.  If my router is in 270mpbs, he turns all about 40 MHz or 20 MHz of bandwidth, who do not understand the DMA2100.  LIKE when I first got in this 270mbps mode it would find the router, then a few minutes later, dropping the signal.  When mode 130mbps there are no problems and the signal is strong and constant.

  • Windows 7 Networking Wireless - keeps his back I remove profiles

    Hello

Just, I got my laptop working upgraded to windows 7 and am having major problems with the wireless connection.  So the first thing I want to do is to remove all profiles, but my main, if simple, go in manage wireless networks, click on a link then do a right click on it and say remove connection, then it disappears and comes back 2 seconds later.  The connection is 3000 miles away, so it's not finding it.  Also, when I reorganize, it changes it back.  Also when I reboot wireless is active.  I was competent in XP, but ready to throw computer laptop in the room.

    Help!

    Thank you
    Alison

I also had the same problem as even after the removal of the wifi profile, it kept reconnecting to it.

After reading this thread, I realized that it is not stored by Windows, but by managers of 3rd part wifi (in my case it's the Intel PROSet/Wireless connection utility) that automatically records all the profiles that you have (successfully?) connected to in the past.

No wonder he's been create and put the other profile to use, as soon as my favorite network was temporarily not available. Just went in his management utility and changed profiles here. It works fine now. I think that most new computers come with such utility pre-installed on their computer now when you install the drivers.

Just write here, so I hope that others might get a clue here as well and focus on something in this direction.
