Certification Vista
I bought a new computer all works well. recently I received a message that I could have a valid copy in Vista. I have no cleck to answer that I called the company that provided the computer and Software FX computers from Orlando, Florida. Eddie the owner told me to activate my copy of the software and could get back to me. It was there and he will not answer calls. I have a number provided with the software but does noy know how you get it to MS to clear up this problem.

I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there are two pilots;
I think that you should choose the ATI driver 8.477 display because this driver supports the Mobility Radeon HD 34xx/36xx chips.Other base system devices could be Bridge Media slot (for SD cards), touchpad, HDMI Control Manager.
I didn't find these drivers 64-bit on Toshiba page. Maybe you should choose some drivers for Vista 32 bit

Re: Vista Ultimate - should I not have upgraded?
I called support last night that I was unable to add memory to my PC laptop, had the correct memory etc, I asked about the upgrade to Ultimate and told me it was a good idea because Premium takes just 3g of memory.
I've improved, just phoned the helpline to ask if they are able to edit my profile here, so I can't download 64 bit updates and it told me that my machine will not work fine on ultimate, is it true?

Certification: S.M.A.R.T.As your laptop is already preinstalled with a version of Vista, it is not correct, that it does not work well on your machine.
It has some features, mainly for administrators or advanced users, but it can all be disabled or just don't use them.But, for the use of any memory that you add to your machine, you don't need ultimate. Just make sure, you use a 64-bit operating system for example the Home Premium 64-bit edition.
It could be, that you experience some incompatibilities with older hardware, but this is a rare case and I use it for almost a year and I'm really happy with it.

Vista Service Pack 2 - Cannot install
I have 3 computers, one is Vista Pro, one is Vista Ultimate Edition and a Home editions and on different machines e.g. Sony laptop computer, HP and an Acer. Three are set to perform the automatic download of updates through Microsoft Update and all three fired in Vista Service Pack 2 and the installation failed and referred me http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821 which in turn installs the update of Windows Vista 32 bit system analysis tool. Who won't install and therefore fails to get what she was supposed to find defects preventing the Vista Service pack work.
It's on three different machines, so it has to be a phenomenon of great. It cannot be just me.
There are already countless reports on this forum of the incompatibility issues with the previous updates that must be eliminated, installers windows that need to be repaired and other settings before installation not to mention now reported post blue screen installation. It is to whip up quickly to be a properly tested beta ServicePack. This has not happened once before with Windows 2000 SP2 or 3.

Certificate disappears from the Certification authorities store of trust roots
Recently, I tried to connect to the network wireless protected at my University. The process is to install the root certificate and specifying as trusted root certification authority when you configure the wireless authentication settings. However, the installed certificate does not appear in the list of CAs root of trust, despite my having (supposedly) the certificate successfully installed Racines (TRCA) trust in the Certification authorities store. I studied the certificates by running certmgr.msc (in particular, I searched this program name, right click and choose "Run as Administrator"). The certificate was not in the TRCA folder. I've tried several things:
- Installation of the certificate through the certmgr program: I click the TRCA file and in the window 'Object Type' I double-click the Certificates folder. In the toolbar choose Action-> all tasks-> Import... The Certificate Import Wizard as I navigate on the certificate, click the button "Place all certificates in the following store" and navigate to the Certification authorities folder roots of trust. I cliquerai on finish, and after a few seconds, I get a window saying that the import was successful. The list of certificates in the TRCA store hot flashes, but the new certificate does not appear. I think it is automatically removed from the TRCA Bank when the list of certificates is updated (see below).
- According to the method described above, I am unable to install the certificate in another folder (for example personnel or trusted publishers) except the TRCA folder. The certificate continues in these files when I refresh or restart the certmgr program. I am able to copy the certificate, then paste in the TRCA folder, and in this case it actually appears. However, she disappears from the TRCA folder as soon as I click Refresh or restart the Manager.

I had recurring corrupted files since I got this computer _ piece of Best Buy. It's a VelocityMicro. I tried sfc/scannow, shkdsk /f and repair to fix, install and nothing works. Since I bought my first Vista PC three years ago I never liked playing my music with Windows media player. This is because the sound quality is irritating. Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista
I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. The Wifi card is listed under NICs as being installed and activated. the hardware on my laptop Wifi switch is set on "on" and the light is blue, indicating that the card is working.
I can connect to the internet if I connect physically my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable wireless, so the modem isn't the problem. Other computers can connect to the wireless modem, so my Wifi modem functionality is not the problem. The problem with my computer.
I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.
I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? Wireless and WiFi Link"drivers for Windows Vista (32-bit 13.1.1.1 the latest version and the previous version 12.4.4.5 32-bit) for the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN directly from the Intel Web site at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Wireless+WiFi+Link+4965AGN. The map didn't always work with a driver.
