• Question of SmartView - members and POV are not displayed through the Ad-Hoc analysis

  I see a problem with a SmartView users where it connects to an Essbase database it creates multiple sessions under his user name. The first session is active against the App/Db, it is connected to. The second session is empty display for the App/Db. While trying to make a function of Ad Hoc analysis, none of the members appear on the worksheet, and the POV is grayed out. I can't say I've never seen this problem before. I did a complete uninstall of SmartView and installed again without success. I also assured there is no other 'rogue' didn't excel open instances and yes 'Navigate without data' is not checked.  Everyone is in a similar situation?

  Looks like he was using the Smart View functions.  If you installed to a different location, I think that the links can get broken - I've never seen, but it is referenced in the docs: links of attachment in the functions

  It is a partitioned table. Check DBA_TAB_PARTITIONS. INI_TRANS and MAX_TRANS are defined in the partition/subpartition upin and if necessary.

  Well, the pressure gauges and charts I think use flash player... try firefox on another machine... or try to install flash...

• SWF files are not displayed when the Web page is published to the web

  I was given 5 swf files to add to a Web page. I insert > media > swf and added each swf along the left side of the page. I can read the files when I saw in firefox, ie, chrome, etc. I copied then all the videos, Scripts files and html on the remote server file.   It seems to give the same strange message "the server cannot find the file specified" on any .swf. If you change a the .swf .jpg file, you get the standard message on the server 404 File not found.

  Try to place one of your .swf files in the same folder as your index.html page. Then navigate to it directly http://coeh.berkeley.edu/pehsu/oscar4.swf

  for example and see what happens.

  I wonder if it is not something your server administrator might help you here.

  The code in the HTML to the swf seems to be missing a whole bunch of settings, but I can't point the finger to say that it won't work.

  The best advice I can offer to get started is to use the code in the html page that Flash creates when you publish (be sure to have the html option selected in the settings of publication). You will see two sections of < script=""> and < noscript=""> which places the swf file in the html page and up in the head section will be one or two lines of code related to a javascript file: AC_RunActiveContent.js, you will need to include as well. Also, don't forget to copy the AC_RunActiveContent.js file on the server (Flash adds this file in swf file when you publish).

  See if it works for you.

• USB stick detected and works but not displayed in the computer

• Explorer.exe does not start at startup, and it does not display beyond the logon screen?

  I have a friends Compac laptop and he managed to stop loading explorer.exe when starting after logon is complete. I can't for the life of me remember what I have to do to restore this process in the startup routine so that his office will be in charge.   I use a rule in userContent.css to change this in small capitals.

• Spry region do not display on the Web page

  Hi everyone, I am currently working on a web page that uses spry regions and some xml data. I'm following the documentation on the use of xml with spry, but for some reason any when I view my page in a browser, the region appears then disappears immediately. When I look at the page source, I see that the div that I use has been truncated by the browser, even if within dreamweaver, the DIV tags of opening and closing.

  I have successfully created the profile and the profile list appear in my "Search" tab and check the news in a tab (see Image below)

  

  But, when I click on search Standard or Standard to check my profile that are in the list, the application form, ARA, and TRACS400 does not display in the drop-down list. (see image below)

  

  For your information, I use the standard field that is xIdcProfile and I put the value profile tab views without creating the new domain. (See image below).
