Cisco NetFlow and required IOS image

Hello team Netpro-

I am preparing the documents concerning the deployment of Netflow version 5 for about 20 sites around the world. I would like to know what IOS images can support this technology. Currently, some of our routers run the following IOS Images:

(C7200-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4 (6) T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

(C2800NM-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4 (6) T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

(C3845-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.3 (11) T10, VERSION of the SOFTWARE (fc4)

(C3825-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4 (6) T2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

(C7200-IS-M), Version 12.4 (7), VERSION of the SOFTWARE (fc6)

Don't you think that we still need an IOS update or not?

Thank you in advance.

Jay

Also the information provided by the previous poster, I don't think you need to upgrade with the current images, that you have running, most SPSERVICES k9 images 12.4 versions take support netflow.

I also suggest go on this link, and the link provided in front of me.

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/iOS/12_4/NetFlow/configuration/guide/onf_gsg.html#wp1043332

You can check in the search of features here in feature navigator http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp

Another simple way to check is by typing a question mark to the cli without entering the command on routers.

example for this script very basic bellows on a router netflow put an exclamation mark without actual setting command

My iPod Touch 4th generation cannot be upgraded beyond ios 6.1.6 and podcast Apple app requires ios 7.1 or later version.  Is there another app, workaround or solution that would allow me to download podcasts on Itunes?

You should be able to get the latest compatible version of the app Apple Podcast and other apps too:

From when iOS 7 was released, Apple can now download the latest compatible version of some applications (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

Install the latest compatible version of an application on a previous version of iOS or OS X

My imac crashed resulting in a new hard drive. I downloaded Lightroom 4 according to the previous disc but none of my old photos are here

    Hello

You must copy the library Lightroom (.lrcat) file and the original images from your Time Machine backup disk. If you have not created a backup on a separate time Machine unit (or other backup processes) of your iMac, then you're probably out of luck, unless the defective hard drive can be recovered.

  • IOS image using TFTP

    Hi all

    I have several 2950,2960,3550,3750 Switch

they performed old IOS (I don't know the exact version, but I'm sure they don't support all the features and upgrade to the image of EI and newer)

    so I saw two articles

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-2950-series-...

    and

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/switches/LAN/catalyst2960x/software...

    -----------------------

so my question is to upgrade my ios to new version can I use two commands? and what is different between each CLI?

    Command1:

    first---> delete flash:

    then:

    Copy tftp flash:

    IP:

    name:

    .....

    order 2:

    Archive Download-sw [directory] / crush/recharging tftp:[[//location]/directory]/image-name1.tar [image-name2.tar image image name3.tar - name4.tar]

So what is or what are the different between 2 commands above?

can I use two of them or not?

    --------------------------------------------------

    question 2:

How can I download the latest version of cisco layer 2 switch (2950, 2960) and layer 3 (3550,3750)?

How can I find out what are the different differ between the two IOS image?  only I need (* .bin) no CMS (* .tar)

    Best wishes

    Thank you very much

    Hello

I'll give you the method that I use to upgrade the L2 or L3 switches:

1 install the new image of page Web of Cisco (cisco.com--> support--> DOWNLOAD), I advise you do not install the last being rather install the recommended. (It will have a star next to it)

    2. check if the version that you have installed if it has bugs.

    3. install a TFTP server on a computer that has access to an IP address on the switch (example: you can configure an IP address for management by using the command "Int Vlan")

4 - Check the Flash on the switch by using the command "show Flash" to make sure that you have enough space.

5 put the image in the folder root of the TFTP server on your computer.

    6. question a copy SERVICE TFTP to make a backup of your configuration. (it is always good to do a backup)

    7. issue a copy TFTP Flash to make the image to be copied on the FLASH of the switch.

8-do a "show run | "I boot" to see images of starting on the switch.

    9. do 'no boot system XXXXX"to the old images essentially copy the output of the command in step 8 and just put none initially.

    10. do 'boot system THENEWIMAGE.

11 - this step is not required but I highly recommend it, you can add the old image using 'boot system OLDIMAGE' he will place the old image as a secondary image just in case where for some reason any main image does not start.

12 save changes using "copy run start".

    13 - reload

    14. use the 'view version' to ensure that the new version is in place.

It is the process of upgrading the software on the switch. It will be useful.

Note: Make sure that you have console access to the switch before performing the upgrade, just in case something goes wrong.

    Best regards

For some systems, you can get Dell operating system through Dell hosted image images

Note: not all systems and service tags will have a picture available.

Note: Although Dell hosted Images have USB3, they cannot understand the pilot of TSRI currently. (some may know this the pilot to F6). You will need to install the driver of TSRI manually during the installation process of Windows.

Dell is currently working to add the driver to the TSRI Dell hosted images. No ETA on when this will happen right now.

  • Network IDS Sensor/system and retrieval of Images

    Ok.. on this page:

    http://www.Cisco.com/Kobayashi/SW-Center/ciscosecure/IDs/crypto/

Objective: I want to burn an image from the Images "system and recovering" rather than order a CD from recovery for IDS.

    Issues related to the:

1 is it possible or not that you must order the recovery CD?

    2. I see that the files under 'System and recovery Images' are in the format tar.pkg. Is this based on Linux or Solaris? Can I use Red Hat Linux to extract this file and then burn it to a CD?

    3. If so, is - anyone know how to extract the file?

    -TKS.

    Answers:

    (1) No, you must order the recovery CD.

    (2) there are 2 types of files: System and recovery.

The system Images (- sys-) are used only for the installation of sensors that support ROMMON (like the 4215 IDS, IPS-4240 and IPS-4255). The sensors supporting ROMMON have no CDROM drives, and so the image must be tftpd to the sensor through ROMMON.

System Images are used for recovery after disaster where the compactflash/hard disk from the sensor has been severely damaged or a new white compactflash/hard disk was placed in the sensor.

Recovery (r) - Inages updated only the probe recovery Partition. They must be installed from a running Application Partition. The .pkg is a special Cisco IDS application-specific extension. There are special methods for unpacking and installation of the unerlying files.

In ordinary situations the user will constantly update their software to sensor by the normal process of upgrade using large updates (- shift-), minor updates (- min-), Service Pack (sp) - or Signature updates (-- GIS).

It isn't that where the effective Partition becomes corrupt that a user must always start on the recovery Partition and load a new Partition of Application.

Most of the users will never update their recovery Partition. Thus, users who have purchased the IDS-4235 for example with the 4.0 software (1) will be a 4.0 (1) recovery Image. If they later upgraded to 4.1 (1) and the experience of corruption then they can always start the recovery Partition and reload 4.0 (1). If they do not want to return to 4.0 (1) provide us a recovery Image to update the Partition recovery to 4.1 (1).

The only time wherever a recovery CD is really necessary is when the user goes from 3.x, 4.x, because of the drastic change between the 2 versions, or if the recovery Partition has also been damaged, or if you use a blank hard drive.

    3.

I don't think the recovery or System Images contains the files needed to create a recovery CD. If I just remember additional files have been added to the recovery CD to make it bootable, which were not necessary on the system image or recovery since they were based on a sensor that was already underway.

  • The difference between an image of system of sfr and sfr boot image

    Hi all

I use ASA 5525-X with fire power module. I met 2 new concepts when I upgrade the software for my module of sfr, which is the image of the system and the boot image.

I would be grateful if someone can tell me what is the difference between sfr and sfr boot image system?.

    Hello

You will need to run the boot image on ASA, so that the SSD is responsible with the SFR image. The system image must run SFR services thereon.

  • The traffic load between the power of Cisco ASA and FireSight Management Center fire

    Hi all

I have a stupid question to ask.

Can I know what is the traffic load and the e/s flow between firepower Cisco ASA and FireSight Management Center?

Currently working on a project, client require such information to adapt to their network. Tried to find in the document from Cisco, but no luck.

Maybe you all have no idea to provide.

It varies depending on the number of events reported from the module to the CSP. No event = only health controls and policy changes are exchanged. 10,000 events per second = much more traffic.

Generally it is not a heavy load, however.
