Cisco Telepresence EX60 records do not in CUCM

Hello

Can you help me regarding this issue. Our client has registered in VCS before EX60. Customer decided to registered on CUCM, but before the client has performed a factory reset on the EX60.

Now, EX60 is not save in CUCM. CUCM version is 9.1.

And also I already followed the guide for the retail version of CUCM with TC6 firmware.

Please see attached configuration please. And also attached are the newspapers. And also the error message, we enter.

Thank you

The following error may be seen in the papers attached EX60:

Jun 1 12:47:00.844 ppc appl [2971]: 156,29 SipStack W: [Transaction 32]: got exception SIP_MSG_EXCPT = 8 transport layer
Jun 1 12:47:00.847 ppc appl [2971]: 156.30 SipReg W: Transport failed to send record (sipexcept: 8 fermΘe by the remote side connection)
Jun 1 12:47:00.849 ppc appl [2971]: the State of the server SipReg W: SipReg F Unexpected 156.30: 8

Maybe something closes the TCP on the EX60. Is there a firewall between CUCM and EX60? Can we disable SIP on the firewall inspection and analyze the recording?

  • Integration of the Cisco Telepresence SX20 with Cisco Telepresence EX60

    Hi all

I have a question, I have the following device:

    -SX20 together

    -EX60 with touchscreen controller

Do I know if the EX60 can be deployed in an environment SX20? as each of them as functions of call I don't know if it will be in conflict or not because I have little knowledge about the voice and video. If the device can be integrated, can I request a deployment guide, the configuration guide on these? Thank you very much!

If your devices are not connected to any call (VCS or CUCM) control, search for SX20 autonomous in the forums - there are many threads that describe what you need to configure the settings.  Do the same configuration on the SX and exodus once this is done, you should be able to call the IP address of one of the other.

  • Telepresence EX60 with CUCM 8.5 - How to integrate?

    Good morning people,

I'm building a lab with 8.5 CUCM and presence Server 8.5

I'll install the Cisco TelePresence EX60, and I wonder how I do integration with CUCM.

Need to install the additional server? You simply add a SIP device in CUCM?

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    Bruno

    Hello.

You must have CUCM 8.6 in order to utlize the full potential of the CUCM / integration EX60. You save the unit directly to the CUCM.

I recommend you take a look at this guide, after that you did with your laboratory update.

  • Cisco Telepresence Licenses

    Hi all

We are in the testing phase & integrated 4.0 virtual Telepresence, virtual driver XC2.3 with CUCM 8.6.2 Adhoc & Meetme Conference.

We have THAT SX 20 recorded in CUCM endpoint. When Dial us the SX 20 its composition keep meeting & not connecting or not answered by telepresnce.

I just noticed that there is that no license screen is installed in the server TP.

Is it compulsory for allowing screen to make Conference calls?

Can I register for the demo licenses file?

    Kind regards

Yes, you will need licenses from the screen. Regarding the demo, I have not seen but is worth a visit with [email protected] / * /

  • End of sale (EoS) / end of life (EoL) information on Cisco TelePresence system 1700 MXP

I have a question about the EoL (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collaboration-endpoints/eos-eol-po...) policy and the announcement of EoS/EoL Cisco TelePresence system 1700 MXP (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints...).

According to the policy of the EoL, paragraph 4 ter, "after the first year and for the operating system SW - if available - we will offer bug fixes, versions of maintenance, workarounds or patches for a period of 4 years for operating system software."  Therefore, it is 5 years after the Date of the EoS, which could make the OS support close on 28/02/2017 EoL products.  I'm one to believe that a product and its applicable operating system are good as long as the company provides patches for bugs/flaws.

My question is about the migration of the product suggestions.  The suggestion is to "migrate to the Cisco EX Series (the EX60 or solution EX90) telepresence system."  However, when the announcement of EoS/EoL EX60 inspection, the "SW maintenance communicated End Date of: HW, SW OS ' 06 07, 2016.  Note that it is not the end of Maintenance SW verbiage in 1700 MXP EoS/EoL announcement.  I'm under the assumption that the new product within OS support only one model exceeded?  Why anyone would follow the suggested migration if I get fewer months support OS than an older model?  Should I go out of date on the announcement of the EoS/EoL, or use the 5-year rule as shown in the end of life policy.

If I am interpreting this wrong, please do not hesitate to correct me.  I am trying to understand the explicit verbiage in the end of life and ads EoS/EoL policy.

As the 1700 MXP announcement was published in 2011, at that time, the EX60/90 was a legitimate substitute. However years later, endpoints EX Series are now EOS, you should look at alternatives for the EX series instead.

The announcement of the EOS/EOL indicates a date of end of software support, you should go there. The reason that ad 1700 MXP does not list one could be that the date of assumption of the software had already spent or they simply don't have the list at the time. Looking at the latest version of the software for the 1700 MXP, it's F9.3.3 in 2014, I highly doubt, there will be another, but you never know given that other points of MXP endpoints that are not past their published end date of software support.

  • Content Server Cisco telepresence - separate content

We have a Cisco Telepresence Content server v5.3 build 3486.

My client is looking for a recorded video to divide without content. Kindly advice how to do it. Please note that it is a recorded video.

I went through the models that we have to TCL, but there just passing through, joined, stacked and PIP.

If you already have a record that contains content, that content is displayed, there no deactivation part as it is already registered.  I noticed you questions about video recording without content in another discussion, I hope this is helpful in this case.

  • Is any impact of a change of the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual computer?

    Hello

I'm looking to see if there is an impact to change the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual machine?

The software version is v6.2 build 4073.

    Thank you in advance,

    Robert

I'll assume, you are referring to the administrator account, but it can be applied to any local account which is located on the TCS server itself.  It has no impact to change the password, unless you are using doesn't say account to connect to the server of TCS or web interface, it will not affect the application of TCS as most things such as external storage or clustering rely on domain accounts and not the local server.

  • Driver of Cisco Telepresence - room LoopBack

    Hello world

Is it possible to create a meeting room on Cisco Telepresence driver that will return the video to the appellant alone in the room? As the [email protected] / * / Cisco's Sip URI? (A kind of selfview room)

    Thanks for your help.

It is possible to show only one participant connected to a MCU conference selfview, but not for telepresence Server conferences.  It comes without caring if the driver is involved or not.  The service provided by Cisco closure is obtained with the C40/60 endpoints where the audio and the video plays in a loop directly to the connected call (output HDMI to HDMI-in, output audio RCA audio-in RCA/RCA).

  • Configuration of the firewall Cisco Telepresence MCU 5320

    Hi all.

I searched all the documents of the MCU again, but I found nothing on the ports it uses.

    Help me

HI Sandra.  The 5320 MCU is the same as 4500 MCU.

    Incoming ports
    • FTP - TCP:21 + transient (dynamic rather than fixed) used TCP ports for passive mode
    • HTTP - TCP:80
    • HTTPS - TCP:443
    • H.323 - TCP:1720 + ephemeral TCP ports for incoming calls
    • SNMP - UDP:161
    • Outgoing calls to H.323 involve ephemeral ports TCP connections TCP TCP:1720 and a certain number of ephemeral TCP ports
    • Outgoing SIP TCP calls involve connections between the TCP ephemeral ports and TCP:5060
    • Outgoing SIP TCP calls involve connections between the TCP ephemeral ports and TCP:5061
    • Outgoing interruptions SNMP are sent the ephemeral ports UDP Port 162
    • Media (including audio and video, FECC messages) are ephemeral ports from ephemeral ports UDP.
    • The products acquired Cisco TANDBERG/Codian and gateway series series Cisco TelePresence allocate the ephemeral ports between 49152 to 65535 *. It is possible to change the ports on which these products receive and establish connections. For example, by default the Codian products Cisco acquired listen port 1720 H.323 calls and connections to port 80 web browser, but these can be modified (go to network > Services).

Keep in mind this MCU does not support the streaming or conference me and have either the GK aboard.  If these ports are listed.

  • Cisco TelePresence Manager version 1.7 does support Windows Small Business Server 2008?

    Hello

Is Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 supported the Protocol LDAP, AD and MS Exchange server for Cisco TelePresence Manager version 1.7?

    Thank you

    AA

Hello Ahmed - although this configuration "can work", Windows 2008 Small Business Server is not on the support list. This means that it has not been tested and it certifies to work with telepresence.

To my knowledge, he's not on the roadmap for the future support however, I search and repost as soon as I have an answer for you.

    Kind regards

  • Cisco Telepresence SX20 and Touch 8 Configuration after paired

    Hello

I successfully connected and combined the SX20 Cisco's Telepresence and Cisco Telepresence Touch 8. Before using the 8 key, we used the remote control instead. As a result, I have two questions about this.

    1. as far as I know, when I use the 8 key, the remote control cannot be used. Is it possible to use both of them?

    2. How can I change the background of my SX20 touch 8? Previously, the remote I can easily choose the background for my SX20. But after pairing with Touch 8, background in my SX20 become a blue large clock. I really want to have a different background but cannot find the way how to change.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Bagus Hanindhito

After you connect the 8 Touch, you can still use the remote control, you will need to put on the SX20:

    SystemUnit MenuType experimental configuration: full

I think that the standard background when using a touchscreen device is what you see, blue with large clock.  However, after the MenuType return in full which will give you the full OSD which is used with the remote and not that of the button, you may be able to change the background then.

  • Cisco TelePresence SX20 + VCS 8.2 Server and Skype for business 2015

Nice day! My name is Dimitri! Have Cisco TelePresence SX20 + VCS 8.2 Server and Skype for business 2015. Is it possible to set up a conference call SFB and appeal to all subscribers of this conference? At present, we can only call on a single client and SFB. We have the current version of the software TCNC5.1.4.295090 SX20 - is it possible he obnoviti 7, and it will help to improve the situation? Thank you!

I'm no expert on this technology, but I have some idea and already deployed some projects dealing with the integration of Cisco (CUCM, VCS) video infrastructure to Microsoft video infra like Lync. It would be the same process to make it work in your case.

How does your deployed SFB? How do you do a conference for audio and video, participants can join the conference by dialing?

    • Mediation server would be required as a front-end server for you to integrate IP/PBXS using SIP trunk to enable voice (audio) Conference with the participants to the PSTN.
    • AVMCU Should be (Audio video Multipoint Conferencing Unit) will host the video conference that will include video endpoints as participants.
    • Video of Interop (SCREW) Server would be required to interface your SFB to third video conference infrastructure such as Cisco UCM or VCS for the endpoints Cisco call client SFB of endpoint of Cisco to participate to the conference organised on SFB by dialing the conference number.

I'd say contact your AM SFB or Support as well for queries about how to plan your infrastructure SFB and direction.

    Kind regards

  • Cisco telepresence video Communication Server (VCS) - compatibility CTX X8.1.1?

The Cisco TelePresence Exchange System compatibility matrix (CTX) does not cover version of VCS X8.1.1 (to solve the problem of software). Version X7.2 is recommended and supported which is affected by "heartbleed".

X8.1.1 compatibility is tested by Cisco and the updated matrix?

In fact we run CTX v1.3 with VCS X7.2 and solve the problem of software without leaving the support. What is the recommendation of Cisco?

    Kind regards

    C.Opwis

You could improve your VCS to X7.2.3 which includes a fix for Heartbleed.

    A. Cisco active development on this product and/or have predefined routes for this platform? We have not quite

hear updates during the liberation of UC SEVT 10.0 for this platform?

    B. what kind of support is available for this platform in a perspective of customization of the report?

    C. are there examples of SQL scripts that could be re-used to produce reports of the below type:

    • Video endpoint / use of rooms
    • Number of subscriptions too video session
    • Capacity Trending & forecasting for the use of a Port of MCU and increases endpoint.

    D. What are the technical limitations known from the point of view analytics platform? In other words, it does not imply that

the analytical potential lies in the hands of developer and NOT the platform, taking into account its APIs?

You aren't going to get an answer about the development plans and roadmaps here in a public forum, you will need to contact your Cisco representative for this kind of information.

If you want something where all the work has been done for you, and that is customized to your specific needs, then you might want to consider looking at vAnalytics, http://vyopta.com/products/vanalytics of Vyopta, http://vyopta.com/

No, I am not associated with Vyopta, however, we use one of their products.
