• After being opened for a while (with several tabs) Firefox does generally and repeatedly play a sound - video will play again, but not sound.

  This problem started happening only recently. I often keep my Firefox open all night with sites like rainymood.com or grooveshark.com playing, as well as several other tabs, including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit. Sometimes, after a few hours/days to not restart Firefox or my computer, Firefox starts to become insensitive - i.e., pages take a long time to load, opening new tabs is difficult for the browser and videos will have up to 30 seconds to start playing. In addition, the sound stops playing. If I start a YouTube video, after the initial period of excessive load, the video will play, but without any audio. Also, sites such as rainymood.com and grooveshark, even Facebook, stop sound.

  Note that this is different from an incident of flash plugin - when flash falls down, the audio and video become inaccessible and a simple refresh or restart of Firefox will solve the problem. But what is happening here is different; If I refresh the tab, nothing changes, and even if I restart Firefox, it opens the same way again until I restart my computer completely.

  Also of note: I had, in the past, this same thing happens, but rainymood.com continued to play, however no other tabs would make sound. The problem is sporadic and I don't know where to start. Also, sometimes it's only a problem of Firefox specific, which means other programs on my computer can make sounds, but sometimes this problem makes my computer all stop making sounds, with the exception of Ventrilo, which works, but is also insensitive in the beginning.

• Inspiron 1521, vista - plays CD but not DVD

  Ive tried before to play a DVD, it worked. It was at Christmas last year. CD works perfectly fine, but the DVD doesn't come. I tried today to play some, but will not work. I go to the computer to look at the disks and it recgonizes the DVD, but if I try to open and play in Media Direct (this program also does not), or Windows Media Player, it won't appear. WMP will pop as its about to play, but it will simply disappear. Direct Media simply does not. I don't know what to do. Someone help me please.

  I have Dell inspiron 1720 I bought 1 year ago (just in time for the guarantee at the end) and the CD/DVD writer will play media correctly, but when I try to burn CDs of any type they will not play in any stereo at all. My records are closed properly so I tried to download the driver from dell.com, but when I open it, it will not install because it says I need to close applications even if everything is closed. • Published F4v video and html plays locally, but not online...

  I am running Windows 7/64 and Master Collection. I created a clip of the DV NTSC sequences to test F4V publication. Fact many times with CS3 and flv files, but it left me speechless. I can properly see the video and the web page locally in IE and Netscape but upload to my server I have the menu and the right implementation, but no video appears. I created the clip in first Pro CS5 and exported to the best quality F4V/FLV. Open a model Media DV NTSC in Flash Pro CS5 Actionscript and import the video that I had previously placed in my web folder root locally. Then I exported the swf file and saved the fla. All the files were then in my root folder and the scrpts in the scripts folder. In Live view in Dreamweaver CS5, everything was going well. In each browser locally the video read as expected. Once all the files have been downloaded video wasn't visible.

  at the root of the directory are... Sequence of 01_1.f4v, minimaflatcustomcolorall.swf, 2010movie.swf, 2010movie.fla and in the scripts folder, expressinstall.swf and swfobject_modified.js.

  It seems that the server is not configured to serve F4V files.  Make sure that the MIME TYPE is there (or ask your server administrator to do).

  They come from a variety of sources: smartphones, digital SLR cameras and a camcorder palmheld. It's OK, except for the videos from the camcorder. It is a Panasonic HDC-TM900, mainly used in automatic mode, recording in avchd (.m2ts) format. Lightroom plays his video stream but with none (format ac3, 6 channels)

  I use Windows 10 and Lightroom CC 2015.5. Windows Media Player and others read them with the sound.

  I guess that you would need a video editor more expensive like Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro for a surround sound.

  Since your only previous assignment is something completely different - I assume you mean that you have read all the posts on these forums (thousands are likely) things like that and tried all the suggested.  However, I would ask differ.

  One common thing is that the laser that reads the DVD got out of alignment or otherwise that went wrong.  The only solution to this situation is to replace the defective hardware.

  This test is to locate or create a DVD bootable on another computer.  Test that is bootable (you can start at this DVD contrary to boot into the operating system on this other HDD) on the other computer.  Now - setting up your machine to boot from the DVD in the BIOS and try to boot from the DVD you watched just to start the other machine.  If it boots - could be a windows driver issue.  If it does not start - replace the defective hardware.

  You have access to a different server/host?

  If so, duplicate the page and the files and upload them to the server in a test site.

  If it works on another server, I would push harder on the hosting company to correct MIME types in the .htaccess file.

  If it doesn't work, maybe there was a problem of encoding with the videos themselves?

  I would also fix errors html couple you have, just to be sure that this isn't some sort of Caprice caused by those 100%.

  Hello, all. I tried to update my site and have struggled.

  I designed my site in flash and put the file in dreamweaver. My file .swf cheek in Dreamweaver, and also when I select "Preview in browser" using Firefox, but when I upload the index.htm file in my directory and go on my site directly, play animations, but not my flash animations (which are f4v files). The links work. This isn't the problem. .F4v files will not play (all products are CS5).

  When I click the link, I see "waiting on the site" below. Which hangs my movie files? My site is wilson - Graphics.com.

  It looks like that your last post is not upward in the Forum so much to answer:

  No, do not re - encode, no. your file names are not too long.

  For me it looks like you have a path problem.

  "I have a big file named"New site"and in this folder is a folder called"WithWatermark", where all of my final .f4v files are kept. The real "WithWatermark" file is not transferred, but everything in this folder is. Who should not be the problem though, huh? "I've always done this way and that the flash file knows where all the files are located.

  Unless the folder structure is EXACTLY the same on your server, either on your local computer, the .swf will have trouble finding .f4v files. On your machine, you say that they are in the subfolder "WithWatermark", but you do not use this same folder on the server, .f4v files are in your root folder.

  If you have created the .swf video player using a subfolder in the path to the video files, but you do not use the same path on the server, the path is broken.

  Create a "WithWatermark" folder on your server and move all f4v inside files which, just like on your local computer.

  Just give a try.

• Model BDP-S350 will play the dvd but not a blu - ray disc

  So far has never had a problem with my blu - ray player.  The last time I used the player, I watched a dvd movie.  I tried t watch a disc blu - ray today and I kept getting the error message "cannot read disc - unknown.  I tried 5-6 different blu - ray discs.  I made sure that the firmware has been updated and I followed the troubleshooting guide.  Nothing has worked.  It will play DVDs but not blu - ray discs.  Does anyone have a solution?
