clock E260 problem

quick question for you people in the forum wonderful sandisk.

I have an old e260 who sat unused for about 4 1/2 years.  The thing still works like a champ, but the clock is super fast. I set the clock and hours later, it is about 20 to 30 minutes fast. What is the problem here? Can it be fixed?  I would like some info.

Thank you

Tone

I have one that is the same way. No, it can't be fixed or adjusted.

My sansa e260 had a lot of problems the last few months. those with the firemware I could fix myself. But now I'm confused.

I'm a fanatic of music and my music need every morning on the train. The battery lives up to 3 days (whats normal for me).

During the night I put on an adapter and it load up, but I don't handle it again.

When I plug the drive in front of my computer nothing happens too. yesterday, I put the last updated music on it and before I slept in iput on the charger.

From one day to the next the entire battery and now it will not charge upward.

    Can anyone help?

OK, I hope it comes as soon he can come xD

  • E280/radio-alarm clock/dock problem FIXED!

(Not that anyone else in the world probably will never have that problem... ;->)

But in case someone ever does it, here is the solution.

    ************************

    Reminder of the problem:

Sansa and Timex clock radio play together well

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&thread.ID=29319&view=by_date_ascending&page=1

OK, I officially * had * it! (e280, clock radio and now dock)

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&message.ID=30169#M30169

    ******************

After communication with Sandisk (they * will keep talking about you, I'll give you em that...!), received suggestiion put in MTP mode and rename the folder 'Rhapsody' folder 'Services', if such were present.  Computer would only remove, so I again asked if the deletion was OK and if having a folder 'Rhapsody', it turns the e280 thought I had or used to have a Rhapsody subscription.  Positive on these two points, so I deleted the folder.  Problem solved.  Fix five minutes, including waiting for the computer to start...

Follows my email to Sandisk.  (It's * my * e-mail, so I figure that I can copy it anywhere I want and he said what I have to say about the problem... ;->))

    *****************

'Rhapsody' folder deleted. Unit works now fine with Sansa docking station and radio alarm clock.

Wish that someone had told me about this simple correction much earlier. (Like $500 earlier!) My husband and I love all the e280s and the docks and wake-scattered, in fact, and I guess we'll get our money out of them before die us, but what I originally wanted was to get the first e280 to work with radio-alarm clock, as it did before the problem started.

I * could * have waited until the initial problem has been fixed (possibly) instead of going on a buying frenzy, but I was afraid that if one) I waited and b) the problem has never been resolved, I would not be able to get another e280/clock radio, since the e200 series had been replaced by a new range of products.

    Suggestions for Sandisk:

Format should mean FORMAT! I don't know if I find more amazing than the left repeated formats this Rhapsody folder in place or that it took so much communication with you all luck to someone who knew that. It's not as if I did not mention Rhapsody first - due to my chance to see only fleeting message when the problem started, it was the * first * possibility I mentioned, I think.

It's also a problem the Amazon, DRM-free tracks somehow did it think that I had an expired subscription to Rhapsody, when I've never been and won't be anywhere * near * Rhapsody! (Especially after this experience!)

It would be nice if everything was at least * visible * in MSC mode - I didn't on this issue because it does not appear in the mode I use! If I * saw * it in MSC mode, I tried the suggested fix original (rename) on mine!

It would also be nice if your future mp3 players were more like the e200 series. I'm not terribly unhappy to have a bunch of e280s (well good, except for the money...), because I think they make your current line look sick.

    IMHO, FWIW... ;->

And thanks to at least talk to me until the issue is resolved (if any) - I'll say that for Sandisk!

You answer to me so that I can mark this FIXED!

  • pouches & ID tag with e260 problem

Can anyone help with these 2 problems:

Every album I put on the e260 has 1 album art, with a few albums, they are displayed with the other not? I changed the album art for another with a different size, but nothing works. The album art is in the right place, so I don't know how to solve this problem.

Second problem. I had an album that the e260 divided into 3 albums with the same name. 2 albums with just 1 song and the 3rd with the rest of the songs. I discovered he needed with identification labels, because on 1 label the name of the album was written poorly, so I changed the name of the album, but the problem continues. What can I do for all the song in this album are found in only 1 album on my e260. As far as I know has nothing to do with the mp3 licenses, so what it can be?

    Thank you very much!!!

I solved the problem of ID tag by changing the artist and the name of the album of all the songs with MP3tag. It must have been a space that I forgot because everything seemed the same. Thanks for helping me on this one!

The album art problem remains. The name does not matter because the albums on which the name appears art are all different. I tried to call it folder.jpg anyway, but no. Why so strange on some albums it works and others not. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

  • Reference Dell place 7 clock/Web Browser issues

If the clock of my new (1 month) place 7 continues to ruin - it will just start to run fast, fast sometimes up to 45 minutes.  I tried different settings, called the support of the other night (and they had to get the low volume button + power) and even a factory reset on it.  The other problem is to do, the screen flashes, just stay white.  He can do only 1 - 3 times after that "refresh you" Web page.

These known issues or make me a defective unit?

Am happy to say I did upgrade the venue and clock the problem is solved!

  • Error-50103 occurred at DAQmx start Task.vi:11

    Hello

I use a nor-6008 to perform a thermal sector and I get the error "error-50103 occurred at DAQmx Start Task.vi:11 '. I have read other forums of discussion and it seems combe because I use the wizard DAQmx who don't properly resolve the resource when finsihed. I've dug further and saw that it is linked to an on-board clock synchronization problems. However, I can understand how to solve this problem.

I thought that I create a loop that continuously monitors inputs and sometimes to interrogate the memory so I'm not kidding to the top of the clock. It's much harder to do than sounds. Can someone take a look at my code and give me some advice/suggestions to clean the DAQmx assistants.

    Thanks in advance

    Cole

I finished by dividing my resource between the two input channels using a single assistant DAQ and dividing down the data rate and the number of samples. Works fine now.

Big pain in the ass well.

  • MIDI clock problem

I'm having a problem with sending the Midi out of Logic Pro X clock. It seems that every time I have connect my computer to my audio interface and open a new project (or old), I have to go into preferences and project settings for the Midi sync and restore 'Destination' under ' passed to ' to do things correctly implemented. Is there a way to set a default value? Thank you.

Yes... Create a new project... Configure everything as you wish... and then save it as a template via the file menu

Now, you can use this template with everything you want, set up the way you like it... When you start a new project...

  • My battery percentage is not accurate, I will let it charge all night, I wake up and it's on 80 so so I cut my phone to make it precise. Also my alarm clocks do not go to sea, and it's starting to be a problem.

I need a solution to my battery unaccurate percentage and help with my alarm clocks that they leave mounting

    Hi there alara11,

It seems that your phone battery does not charge, and your alarms do not seem to jump when you value. We should be able to solve that with troubleshooting software, so I would like to start by leaving the clock app and the settings:

Force an app to close the iOS
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201330

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you did this force restart the unit with the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons as described in the following article and test questions again:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset
    http://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201559

I don't think that, but if the problem persists, save your device in iTunes, then restore it like new and verify that it works.

How to clear your iOS device and then set up as a new device or restore from backups
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204686

If this is the case, restore your backup either check it still works and just reinstalled software or circumvent the problem in the backup file itself. Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, let us know how it goes!

  • Problem of drift incredibly strange clock in Windows 8 on ENVY 14 t-1000

I have a ridiculously strange and frustrating issue running Windows 8 x 64 (RTM) on my Envy 14 t-1000.

The first time I noticed this problem was when I ran the consumer Windows 8 build preview earlier in the year. I noticed that my clock might drift off-sync, usually at least a few hours, often more than a day (always drifted backward in time). I would sync it using 'Internet time' in the options of time & Date but it would soon become off once again in a few minutes.

Thinking it was a dead CMOS battery, I disconnected the battery and checked, but it read full voltage. I then did a clean install of Windows 7, no problems whatsoever. That lasted a few months.

I recently did a clean install of the final version of Windows 8. Exactly the same thing is happening now.

All this experience? Is there a particular driver should I install? An incompatibility permanent with Windows 8 on this machine?

    Hi chambo622,

Take a look at this document and let me know if the steps help solve your problem.

  • Problem with DAQmx Schedule VI (sample clock)

    Hello to you all,.

I'm new to this forum, please bare with me. I have some experience with LV, but I am relatively new to data acquisition projects. I use LV2009.

I want to make sure that I use the hardware timing (instead of software distribution) in my project so I followed some of the threads here as sugested to use DAQmx Schedule VI. The problem is that no matter how I set the system I get the same error-200300 invalid calendar
    type.

The project is simple. I encode with 1000 pulses per
Rev and it is mounted on a shaft of a turbine water goes thru. I'm watching the frequency
and so the rotation of the shaft which tells me that the amount of water flows through the turbine. In the end, there will be 2 channels
by every encoder and ~ 3 encoders (turbines) total and calibrated the main meter that will give me constant impulses and all encoders will be compared to this master frequency.

    I'll use PCI6602 DAQ, but
now, for the development, I use USB6221. Let's say that the
frequency is between 500 Hz and 10 kHz. What I am doing wrong? Or maybe better to ask - what would be the right approach for this project?

    Thank you

    Marty

    Hi Marty,

It seems that your question is already answered here, but Jason is correct that the 6221 neither the 6602 support a clock sampling for frequency measurements.

As Jason mentioned, your best bet is also likely set the mode of synchronization for "implied". This means that the frequency value is sampled at the end of each period of your input signal. In addition, a solution that is clocked by the software (On-Demand) might be acceptable.

X Series DAQ devices allow an external sample clock to use for frequency measures (described in the Manual of X series). Frequency of sample-clocked measures are useful in very specific
circumstances, but it does not seem that you need this feature based on what you've described so far.

(621 x) bus-powered M series can also be configured to use an external sample as the X series clock but do you not have the same features described in the manual of the X series.

    I hope this helps!

  • I use an analog input on a PCI-6224 and are having problems with the clock source

I use an analog input on a PCI-6224 and are having problems with the clock source. I'm trying samples of 16 different analog inputs very quickly. I have the sample mode: Timed Single Point material. The rate, that I am running is the maximum (250 kHz (15625Hz per channel)). I left the default clock source and trying to taste several times. The analogue input works for a short time (2-3 seconds) and then everything stops. I'm doing something wrong or is there something I'm missing? Any advice would be great.

That's how you samples using the sample clock clock. If you see a delay then something is wrong with how you track/data visualization.

Single point NI the hardware is for PID control with a real-time operating system.

  • Problem of clock sample e/s digital PCI-6229

    Hello

I use PCI-6229. I need to use the digital output channel to generate pulses of 20 kHz 30% duty cycle.

The datasheet shows the sample clock frequency can be 1 M Hz. But in may, only 100KHzTimebase may work to generate. But acctually I need at least 200K Hz.

I've done the Vi is attached. Can someone help me with this problem?

    Thank you

    Hello ossoo,

The PCI-6229 is not a timing engine digital to create a digital task which runs at 1 MHz, you must use an external sample clock.  However, one thing you can do is generate a pulse train at your desired frequency using a meter integrated 6229 and then using this output meter as the sample for your task digital clock.  Take a look at the attached amendment, I made to your VI which shows how to build your digital task to 1 MHz using the meter on board.  You can change the frequency of the train of impulses of the meter in order to change the frequency of your outputs digital.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Kind regards

  • LM3S8962: SPI clock problem

    Hello

I'm working on a project using the star LM3S8962 evaluation kit and a 4-channel analog digital converter 24-bit Texas Instruments ADS1274EVM.

I want to get the data sent by the ADC with the LM3S8962 using the SPI bus.

I have all of the example provided by the following link for my case: http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-7701

The ADS1274EVM provides 2 pins for SPI communication: DOUT1 and SCLK.

When it becomes a clock on the SCLK pin, it starts to send data via DOUT1 pin, there is no pin slave select.

If I'm right, I don't have to connect:

-PIN SSICLK for the LM3S8962 with SCLK of the ADS1274EVM pin

-PIN SSIRX for the LM3S8962 with the pin of the ADS1274EVM DOUT1.

The ADS1274EVM is powered independently of the LM3S8962, so I connect VA WINE GND as shown on the http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-7701page.

I write because it does not work: the ADS1274EVM sends no data given that I cannot get a clock signal of the SSICLK of the LM3S8962 pin that allows the ADS1274EVM start the conversion

I think that him 'ARM of SPI create Configuration reference VI' configures a clock that is sent through the LM3S8962 SSICLK pin, but it does not work as expected.

Can someone help me please? Thank you

    Luke Y.

    Hi Luke,.

I just tested the example and had no problem generating a clock on SSICLK.

I join the project I did with LV 2009 SP1. I hope that you could test and tell us if it works.

    Kind regards

  • Problems of synchronization of the sample clock with a frequency of a PXI-6229 counter!

Hi all, I'm having some problems with the synchronization of a frequency meter connected to a liquid flow meter (sensor only have 1 open collector output) with the sample of a PXI-6229 map clock. Someone there willing to give me a little help here would be appreciated?

The problem is that the reading of the meter in the whole loop blocks until the time-out period.

Suggestions for an alternative approach would be too good...
