Closed network communicates not problem

vCD 5.5.5.3153714

ESXi 5.5.0, 3248547

Installation of networking

  • External network, Internet access
  • Routed network with an Edge gateway connected to the external network
  • vApp network

Need

Environment where multiples of the same TIME will be executed at the same time (identical virtual machines)

Question

Virtual machines can not connect to the Internet in a closed network

Test

  • Computer virtual connected to the external network has Internet connection
  • Computer virtual connected to the network has Internet connection (NAT and firewall active)
  • Computer connected to the closed network virtual has NO Internet access (NAT and firewall active)
  • VM connected to the TIME that has a connection to the external network has NO Internet access (NAT and firewall active)

A device of vShield edge gets deployed when fencing is configured but VMs seem not to be able to communicate on the external network.  Any input or thoughts on the issue or the direction where look would be greatly appreciated.

It was a problem with the physical network layout.  Once back-end switching was corrected all worked AW it should.  Thank you for your help

I have problems with my home network; my laptop is unable to access the files on my HTPC

    More precisely:

Laptops and PCs are running Windows 7 Ultimate. My laptop is connected to the home wireless network, the PC is connected through the LAN. Router is a Netgear DG834GV. Both computers have fixed IP addresses. They are part of the standard workgroup workgroup. There was formerly a group residential, put in place, which worked very well. We also have a Vista laptop that does all the unusual problems. Until a few days ago, the whole Setup worked perfectly. I could previously access/copy/distribute multimedia content, play on the PC via Zune music on my laptop and print from my laptop to the computer, but now I am unable to do one of these. The other laptop still works fine.
From the network on the PC screen, I can see the files from the laptop and access.

However, since the network on the computer screen laptop, I see the PC, but when I try to open it I get the error "Windows could not access \\MEDIACENTER. 0 x 80070035 the network path was not found. "I ping the PC with the IP address and name, and I can even remote to the computer desktop.

ipconfig on the laptop did something funny...

After a few suggestions on here I just went through the enable netbios over TCP/IP, but now I can't see even the PC! Still can ping and access internet tho.

Any suggestions as to what may be the cause?

Here is the solution for "error code 0 x 80070035 network path not found" on Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers. Click on the button 'START', select 'CONTROL PANEL' and go to 'DEVICE MANAGER'. Click on "NETWORK CARDS", then click on 'VIEW' and select 'SHOW HIDDEN DEVICES'. In the expanded view, you will see a long list of numbered "MICROSOFT 6to4 ADAPTER". My Windows 7 Professional Office had 200 of them. Right click and select 'DELETE' on all but 1 of them. You can only do 1 at a time, so it takes some time. When you have only 1 left, restart the computer and enjoy being able to see the other computers on your network, including the RESIDENTIAL group files.

  • Bluetooth network is not available

Been trying for a while to use AirDrop on my MacBook Pro (Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.6) and my iPhone 6 s more.

Just realized today that it might not work because the Bluetooth on the Pro does not work. With each device I try a pairing, it says that the network is not available and that I need to make sure that network access is enabled. Trying to do this, system preferences > network > Bluetooth PAN, I get the same message. I need you to ensure that network access is enabled.

Someone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to solve it?

Open system preferences > Bluetooth. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled.

  • Comments on Time Capsule network does not

I recently installed and configured my new Time Capsule (TC) and created my home network, that works without problem. The guest network distributes however, 169 IP addresses to any device connected to it. My TC has the following parameters:

Internet: Connect using DHCP, IPv4 address: 192.168.0.10, Internet Options configure IPv6: link-local, wireless: welcome and feedback network enabled with both wireless security WPA/WPA2 Personal, wireless Options: not used, network: router Mode: Off (Bridge Mode). I tried to use DHCP and NAT (distributes 172 IP address for iPhone and iPad and internet work), but my TC light flashes orange and the home network is not working correctly. What is the correct Assembly and my home and guest network can work properly? Thanks for your help!

Network: Router Mode: Off (Bridge Mode).

The prompt will not work with the TC in bridge.

I tried to use DHCP and NAT (distributes 172 IP address for iPhone and iPad and internet work), but my TC light flashes orange and the home network is not working correctly.

It of the right mode for wireless guest... but is the wrong way for the TC, because then you have double NAT.

Reset you the TC to plant before you set up or do you exchange you bridge DHCP and NAT... If the later, it won't work... you must first factory reset.

In my humble OPINION Apple made a stupid decision to prevent comments in mode bridge... but you can't change it.

The bridge is the right settings for the TC... you use the wireless on the main router as a guest... wireless or you should fill the main router in order to use the TC as the only router.

  • I can connect to the local network, but not to the internet

Why in an internet connection, I can connect to the Local network, but not to the Internet.
I have valid IP address and configuration is good.

I recommend you read some threads here in the forum about similar issues.
If this problem occurs using the WiFi network, then check if you can use the connection to the local network.
    Using the WiFi network, you must check if the common WLan parameters are favourable;
Check if the encryption key is right; turn off filtering by mac address, check the TCP/IP protocol settings if it has been set to automatic, disable the firewall settings, rest you WLan router, check if you connected to the right SSID.
