CM1415fnw: Real vs compatible cartridges

Hi people,

I have a dilemma with this printer. It has been a great unit, I got from my employees when they closed an office. As it is just for consumption, he made only 20 000 pages. The print quality was nice, and we like to have a scanner available, so we were making good use of it.

As you can imagine, he was running low on toner, so we brought a real set of toners @ $385 only 6 months later, they were weak again.

We cannot afford to spend $770 per year on toner, so we opted for the cartridges "compatiable". 2 months later, the colors seem bad to align and erase each other.

So we called a center of service that said they don't look if we have non-genuine cartridges in it.

So, we either throw the printer and buy something else, or find us a way to use cheaper and maintenance cartridges it.

The compatible cartridges are really so bad? If so, why people still sell? and everyone claims the warranty on them?

HP printers can actually detects if your cartrdige/filled aid of counterfeiting. It may work sometimes, but must be changed whenever the printer detects fake and of course, conterfeits is the main cause of the printers print mechanism.

  • Are compatible cartridges 301 and 344?

    Hello.

Sorry for the question that most probably will get a negative response, but in this moment of crisis, we're trying to save as much as possible: I had to abandon my previous HP printer (5900 series) because I have damaged it and now I bought a new Deskjet designed for cartridges #301.

Question: Can I use two spare cartridges 344 # and #339 (remains of my previous printer) as replacement for #301 these cartridges? They resemble dimensions (I did not open the package of the #344 / 339).

Thanks in advance to one that will give me an answer.

Unfortunately no, you can't. Only the mono HP301 & tricolor can be used in the printer.

For any other questions on compatibility, see SureSupply or the eSupplies app (just enter the printer no model and it will show the compatible cartridges)

Welcome to the HP community @N70amu,

I saw your post about wanting to know what ink cartridges work in your Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 and wanted to help.

See the image or the link below to see what cartridges will work on your printer. As you have changed places, the printer probably will need a regionalization reset made by telephone so that the cartridges are accepted in your new area. I'll leave their details below.

What cartridges work with my HP printer?

Hit the "accept as Solution" if we reached a solution and the "thumbs up" to say thank you for my help.

  • Compatible cartridges for printer HP D5360 Photosmart ink?

    Hello;

I need to buy two cartridges for color printing (text not photos), just a few documents arround 20. So I need to know what cartridges are compatible with my printer D5360?

Due to the pond of 350 and 351, which was on my printer, these two are unfortunately not on the market in my town today. So I'm looking for alternatives.

In the case where I have not found a model, I'll have more chances of finding another.

    Thank you

    Hello

As far as I can see the printer uses black 140 / 141 color ink cartridges in Africa, which should also include the Morocco.

I recommend to check this information with the local support center prior to buy ink cartridges:

    http://WWW8.HP.com/emea_africa/en/contact-HP/phone-assist.html#section1

Be sure to get two authentic ink cartridges in order to get free technical assistance for this porpuse, then contact local support center to reset the printer to accept the ink cartridges for your current location.

Be aware that the printer accepts only one form of ink cartridges now on.

  • Who are the real or compatible cards for the Portege M750-109?

    Hello

Anyone know who is the number of the actual card for the Toshiba Portégé M750-109?

I wonder if the PA3283U-1ACA iscompatible.
(15V) voltage and amperage (5V) are the same, but what about the decision-making that plugs into the laptop?

Can someone explain the significance of the various characters in the nummer adapter?
    For example, the difference between a (-1ACA) and a (-3ACA), a.s.o..

For 200V cord, country differences are not a problem, I can get the power supply one another.

But I need the adapter and its taken low voltage to be compatible with the M750-109.
So, how do I identify what Toshiba cards are compatible?

    Thank you very much.

Supports the adapter used for Portege M750 * 15 Volt ampere 5 *.
You must use a power adapter that supports 15V too!
    This is very important!

The value of intensity can be a little different but too low because in this case the laptop would not get enough power!

    > Voltage (15V) and amperage (5V) are the same, but what about the decision-making that plugs into the laptop?
The 15V AC adapter should be the same

  • HP LaserJet P1102w: No Office Depot compatible cartridge

Install a my HP LaserJet P1102w printer Office Depot remanufactured laser toner cartridge. Now, I can't print from the HP Pavilion laptop. My wife can always print from his computer apple laptop, and I still can not print from my old Pavilion Slimline desktop, but cannot print from my most recent HP laptop. I just get "INCOMPATIBLE CARTRIDGE" warning. Do I need a driver of dumbed-down?

    Hi @SafetySteve ,

I see that you are having problems printing since the departure of the toner with toner HP - no, but the other 2 computers are still able to print. I'd love to help you.

I guess so that the error comes from a computer then and not the screen of the printer.

You can try and uninstall and reinstall the printer software to see if it will solve the problem.

You may need to obtain a genuine HP toner so he can be recognized correctly if the problem persists.

    Ink and toner cartridges.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

With the help of Dragon-fur, who sent me the service manual, I found the best way to get this Book:

Remove the right cover, remove feeder/scan CPL (refer to the service manual for the simple and safe instruction, only not to damage parts). It offers access no easy, but it's manageable. Try to prod and fiddle paper, little by little, until you can enter from both sides, then remove it. It is a simple re - assemble. Overall it took me about 30-40 minute, including a cleaning cycle. This way nothing has secured his place or misaligned and print quality is like before.

  • Not compatible with my photosmart 5510 564 HP cartridges

    Hello

I have a photosmart 5510 printer I bought at the Japan. It came with a set of 178 cartridges.

I moved to the Korea and bought a set of new cartridges HP 564 here because 178 cartridges are not available in Korea. In the box of cartridges it is said that the cartridges are adequate for the photosmart 5510.

After the installation, I get an error "incompatible cartridge".

If I use sureSupply via the HP utility to find compatible cartridges and I select the Korea as my current position, I get the following message:

You have selected the following location: Korea

Is this your current location? We have detected that the cartridges purchased at the location you have selected will not work with your printer. Common causes of this include:

    • you bought your printer in another country
    • you bought your printer on the Internet from a supplier in another country.
    • your printer has been provided by your employer who has moved to another country.
    • you have selected the wrong location on this Web site.

Your printer can be reset to work in the location you have selected: Korea

Contact HP support for more information on having your reset printer to work in this place.

Below that there is a link 'Contact HP for support product' but if I click that I find myself on the sureSupply page and I have to choose my model and location. If I do that, I see a list of 564 cartridges I buy.

Top of the page, there is a link "Contact HP" but this link (a javascript link) does nothing (in safari on OSX).

How can I have my printer reset to work in Korea (with 564 cartridges)?

@ JeroenKorea - if you bought the printer in an area and moved to a new area, you must call customer service to ask a "regionalization Reset." Avoid any accusation to this effect; It is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.

See the document on regionalisation.  I'm sure you already used this link, but I want to offer again.

    Hello @bubbamoorea,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

You can go to the website of HP SureSupply here, which shows the compatible ink for your printer cartridge (HP 61 black and tri-color 61).

  • "Compatible" black and tricolor cartridges of HP 60XL online still not being accepted by D110a!

    1. product name and number: HP Photosmart e-All-in-One D110a printer.

2 operating system installed (if applicable): Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

    3. error message (if applicable): "Cartridge Incompatible."

    4. all changes made to your system until the problem occurred: I literally lived "wringer" on this printer, trying to get all of the features to work.

Finally, after dozens of hours of troubleshooting, reconfiguring and update the D110a works well, but it will accept 60 HP ink cartridges but still will not accept HP 60XL cartridges I bought at HP year last online; the HP site where I bought cartridges listed 60 and 60XL ink than those available only compatible cartridges.

Any advice on how to force the D110a accept 60XL cartridge?

Any advice on how to proceed to get my money back or get HP to send me replacement 60XL cartridges that are compatible?

I feel ripped-OFF... and I do not think that HP will stand behind their product.

NOTE: The Code of Mississippi does not any limitation period imposed by HP for products with latent defects or sold by fraudulent (whether due or not) misrepresentation because I believe is the case here.

    Thanks for your comments!

    Hi HectoRocker4

Cartridges are guaranteed for 2 years from the manufacturing date. I suggest that you contact support phone HP you may qualify for replacements.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a Premium: questions of the black cartridge

I used just to the top of my first black cartridge in the printer. Curiously, he did not use the whole upward, but gave me a warning message, long in advance and then just stopped printing in the middle of a page, with the page out to halfway to the front of the printer and told me to replace the cartridge. And the ink had not yet cleared up or whatever it is, it could have at least kept going until he has exhausted all of the ink, and he did?

So I bought a 'real' HP940XL"on Ebay for a good economy and just went to put it in, but it was only with the label upside. Maybe that's why I saved money on it? Because the label was put on backwards?

Then he told me that a genuine HP cartridge has been installed, drove to the partial sheet at the front and canceled the rest of the print job, that I had to reprint the firat 15 pages of.

So if he was not a 'real' HP cartridge, would he not accepted it? Because there is a much bigger economy if I get "compatible" cartridges, it seems.

In addition, is this old cartridge recyclable locally? We have a place local cartridge and I wonder if I could win by bringing and exchange it?

The printer recognizes when a non-genuine cartridge is installed. These reloaded or "compatible" cartridges may be able to fit in the camera, but are generally not a good idea.

You can find that information on this subject in this link for a market study conducted on vs real non-genuine cartridges.

Remember that ink not authentic is not guaranteed to be the same viscosity or acidity and is potentially capable of damaging the printer ink system.

Many companies such as Office Depot, for example, offers options for recycling of printer cartridges. Some even give small amounts of store credit for them.

    I hope this helps.
