CM1415fnw: Real jam

With the help of Dragon-fur, who sent me the service manual, I found the best way to get this Book:

Remove the right cover, remove feeder/scan CPL (refer to the service manual for the simple and safe instruction, only not to damage parts). It offers access no easy, but it's manageable. Try to prod and fiddle paper, little by little, until you can enter from both sides, then remove it. It is a simple re - assemble. Overall it took me about 30-40 minute, including a cleaning cycle. This way nothing has secured his place or misaligned and print quality is like before.

  • CM1415fnw: Real vs compatible cartridges

    Hi people,

I have a dilemma with this printer. It has been a great unit, I got from my employees when they closed an office. As it is just for consumption, he made only 20 000 pages. The print quality was nice, and we like to have a scanner available, so we were making good use of it.

As you can imagine, he was running low on toner, so we brought a real set of toners @ $385 only 6 months later, they were weak again.

We cannot afford to spend $770 per year on toner, so we opted for the cartridges "compatiable". 2 months later, the colors seem bad to align and erase each other.

So we called a center of service that said they don't look if we have non-genuine cartridges in it.

So, we either throw the printer and buy something else, or find us a way to use cheaper and maintenance cartridges it.

The compatible cartridges are really so bad? If so, why people still sell? and everyone claims the warranty on them?

HP printers can actually detects if your cartrdige/filled aid of counterfeiting. It may work sometimes, but must be changed whenever the printer detects fake and of course, conterfeits is the main cause of the printers print mechanism.

  • OfficeJet 6500 - printer constant jams

I just bought the Officejet 6500 a week ago.  No problem installing.  But, I noticed that I can print on 2-3 pages, then the printer starts to jam.  Real jams... I need to remove the paper and unity two-sided... only to have jams more once I print on more than 2-3 pages.  It is a constant, annoying and time consuming problem.  What is a problem for all printers Officejet or just the 6500 Series?  I saw the link on the cleaning rollers... I intend to give this option a try tonight, but I was wondering if there are other tricks or methods to solve this problem.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you!

As long as you are standard weights and quality office paper, I think you may have a bad printer (I'm sorry about that).

I have a J6500 prototype printer in my lab at home and it was a great performance for me.  My suggestion is to share the printer.

  • false Paperjam

I've owned 4 HP printers in the last 3-4 years.  They all have two common conditions... they all died the same problem (a false paper jam) and that they are made of plastic to last until the warranty is gone!   I used to swear by HP printers and the tone used to make a great product, but I'm not safer.  Please can someone explain why a simple jam can be the death of a printer?   In this case, it wasn't even a real jam, it just started to do the scraping or a pinging of the head and finally got caught in the initialization stage. Now you can't get to the distribution of ink or make a self-diagnosis. I ran worm. 4.4 the doctor printer scanner.  tried all the 6 steps to unlock. Don't know what else to do and cannot afford to throw away a printer that I spent a lot of money on for 4 ink cartridges!

After watching a little paper jam videos, I took the initiative and tried to dispel the thr problem.    I realized that what I had was a jam 'transport' instead of a paper jam, but the effect was the same.   The transport of ink was pasted to the right and wouldn't let me not reset the printer to get any kind of diagnostic report or go to another part of the menu!

So, I unplugged the power cord with the printer on and waited a few minutes while I gently a grab for the transport of ink and managed to do so move slightly toward the Center.   I went to plug the power cord back in and waited until it has reset to [Restart].   It will print now, but I can see a spot or two on the cutting edge of the print sheet where it looks like he might try to hang on...   So far so good.  It has been 2 days and no interference or false error code / message!

My printer is a HP7500a all-in-one large format.

  • First CS5 of emergency - please answer as soon as possible

    Hello world

I'm in a real jam: I worked on a film of long hours with special effects and many layers of audio, and just recently it froze PP CS5 upward. It seemed to be gradual, I added more clips, now when I open my project, it will just freeze. He seemed to have a lot worse after that I made my film in pp I have been using 1920 x 1080 clips directly from my digital SLR .mov and put them in PP. I have no idea what the reason is for this purpose; What is a random bug in CS5? What is a codec problem? My image is too big for my computer (i7, 8 GB of RAM + very low end GPU)? Do I need a better computer to work with images this big?

I would be very happy to any entry.

  • PERC4 Controller drive failure

I recently had a Power Edge 2800 have placed disks mirrored both fail on the PERC4 controller and I'm now in a real jam. In order to get the operating system updated mirror installed disks and readyu I had to erase the configuration that doesn't has not given me a choice of channel to erase, then he ended out the entire configuration. Now, I have on the readers of channel 1 6 who were all in their own raid config with data on them. But now, I'm not sure if the data is accessiable because it does not appear that the configuration can be reproduced to recover the data on the good disks. My question is. I lose the data on the good disks because I erase the configuration or can I get this data online? Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated.

There is a small chance, you can get it online... it's called a change.  Start on CTRL-M objects adapter, disable Fast Init (important!).  Then go to configure, view/add and recreate the table, but do NOT initialize after it is created.  He NEEDS to use the same exact records, in the same exact locations, with the same size, size distribution.

If this does not work, then you will need to call a data recovery specialist or extract the backups.

  • Printer color LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw keeps saying paper jam after clearing the jam

Paper jam in my printer.  After graduating page printing, the printer has always said that there is a jam.  I tried turning off the power, unplug, open to all possible places to see if I missed something.

It is likely that there is always a small torn out of paper that still arouses a jam.

If you can't find it, it would be possible to help erase using a sheet of paper more rigid in the relevant paper tray.

  • Laser Printer CM1415fnw color: Color Laser CM1415 paper jam

Well, I was in desperate need of my printer, so I went for it. I studied a little maintenance manual and thought it best to start by taking off the charger/scan assy. After some studies further, I couldn't find an easier, so I started indeed insistence and juggle with Tongs and pliers pliers, as it was now, inaccessible until he is finally released. So, thank you for help out me! Really appreciated!

In the end, it was a pretty easy (UN) Mount: just the right coverage and the whole feeder/scan remove covers more does not make the best or most easily accessible output tray, because it seems a compact and closed an increase of subassy.

    Anyway, problem solved!

  • OfficeJet Pro 6230: Officejet Pro 6230 continous (not of paper) paper jam error

As soon as the printer powers on it the ink carrier Wizz backward real quick (as he struggles to move) and then gives me a paper jam error (the resume light flashes and error appears on my screen). He did the same thing when I try to print anything (including the status report page).

When I up the access panel upward (power on), the carrier of ink isn't even move to ink cartridges which can be changed. I try to move with force, but it does not move (if I use more strength, somethings will break). Ink is a bit new, so I don't know it still has ink in there.

    The steps I've tried:

plugged the power supply into the wall outlet

    roller cleaning

THERE IS NO PAPER or PAPER PIECES BETWEEN ROLLERS (I checked like 20 times)

    reset the printer

There is a large black gear coupled to a white average speed on the left side near the bottom of the printer. I manually drove the speed by pressing (rotation) of North (or forward or to the rear of the printer) for a few seconds and once I did that. the ink carrier was able to move as it's supposed to, and I could see the ink. but once the power is back on, the carrier of ink was in the locked position and fights again and gives me the paper jam error.

I don't have really any troubleshooting documents on the CV online on how to fix a jammed media of ink and clearing paper jams, so I'm out of options.

    It is plugged into USB

The main problem is the paper jam error.

I don't know if the stuck carrier of ink is the cause.

  • OfficeJet 6600: Paper jam resulted in ink system failure

Paper jam resulted in the failure of the inkjet system. Error 0 x 61000016 is reported.

I tried troubleshooting basic procedures, but the track of the cartridge seems to be poorly aligned, that is, when I opened the door, only the black cartridge is available. This is definitely not normal.

The above error messages persist after stopping and restarting. Replace cartridges results in the same error.

The jam massive caused many, many problems. I had to fish out bits and bits of paper of all nooks and crannies.

Too boot, when it was all cleared up I had to cold start the printer, remove and reinstall all the cartridges (because the printer is no longer recognized an any of them) and go through a three step routine cleaning print head.

    Very messy.

But the good news is that everything is all right work

My next gripe is about the ongong with cartridges properly filled with Staples, Costco, and al that so-called re - define the chip in the cartridges.

    That never works.

The result is that the printer does not recognize an original HP cartridge when it is filled again and then starts the everlong question when a cartridge is empty actually.

Of course, I know when a cartridge is empty, it weighs about 19 grams.

But we should not do that math.

I understand that HP would love everyone to buy their cartridges, but they cost way too new.

Seems average spririted. I could be wrong, but we are all in this together.

The ink is ink. I think HP should be a little more forgiving for us "little guys" who need to pinch pennies.

    Just saying '

    Rainman

P.S.: And Yes, I agree the continuous message on 'counterfeit cartridges' when I plug a Costco filled HP cartridge. They are not counterfeit, they are actual filled HP cartridges of actual real RGB ink! And, of course, I accept the responsibility addressed by the messages of ad nauseam when I insert these original re-filled HP cartridges. They seem to work well. Perhaps there could be a happy medium where HP could give a little and the moniter ink levels. Of course, I can continue to weigh the cartridges when the print head cleaning routine fails to get good results. But again, HP should be a little more friendly and less motivated in this respect of profit.

But having said that, the disorder shoot works great, and I appreciate it!

  • Officejet J6480 carriage jams when printing wirelessly via the plugin from HP printing service

I try to print on my printer OfficeJet J6480 HP all-in-one to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet that runs Android 4.4 Wireless using the "HP Print Service Plugin on the tablet.

    Measures already taken;

Sucessfully downloaded/installed the Service HP Print on shelf Plugin

Radio wireless to the printer and correctly configured to communicate with the router wirelessly activated successfully.

    Problem:

When you try to print something from the tablet to the wireless printer, the printer is trying to perform the print operation (flow paper in the printer from paper tray, shows 'Printing' on the printer screen), but then never made a real impression and gets a 'Transport Jam' indication on the printer screen.

When this occurs above, I opened the hood top, checked for jammed paper in the paper path (Nothing), did tension of printer many times, cycle of fact alignments cleanings and cartridge many times, changed the paper to different types of paper.

None of these actions corrected the problem...

I'll also add that when you perform the steps of printing with the radio wireless on off the printer and the cable connected to the printer, the printer functions normally when you print from my pc applications - no traffic jams. Also, the printer works normally when you perform a function 'copy' locally from the printer control panel - not roadways of jams.

I thought maybe an update of the firmware to the printer could solve this problem - ideas about this being a likely solution?

BTW - how you normally clear / would correct a cart-jam regardless of printing wirelessly or through an ethernet cable?

If the firmware update is not a solution, any comment on what could be the cause of the problem?

If an update is available, could you tell me how to do the upgrade and where can I download it from?

Thanks for all your comments... Denny

    E - rog,

Two things I wanted to first of all thank you a lot for the response to my original message concerning the problem of printing wirelessly to my printer HP J6480 of the Tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 via the Plugin of Service HP Print.

Secondly, I wanted to aplogize for the very long delay in responding to your... I had some health problems with a family member who prevented me to try your suggestions to the problem.

I am pleased to report that I managed to solve the problem... I am now able to print to the printer of the tablet.

A little history on the fix...

I tried to download and install the update of the firmware from the link you provided, while having the printer connected to the PC (Windows) computer via a USB connection, as you suggest. (It was initially connected through my home network, so I had to first uninstall, then reinstall via USB connection). When you try to install the downloaded firmware it failed, even after several attempts to re-downloading/reinstalling.

Instead, I uninstalled the printer again, reinstalled over the home network, downloaded the update of the firmware directly from the HP site by locating the printer model, then the firmware. This time the firmware successfully installed (was able to view the progress of installation of the firmware in the display on the front panel of the printer). Make the installation of the firmware with the printer installed on the network domestic (instead fo via USB), the installation process allowed me to search for the printer on the network - it found it successfully and successfully installed the firmware.

After this successful firmware installation and turn on the wireless radio on the printer (via the button on the front panel), I was able to print successfully from the tablet... YES!

Needless to say, there is no carriage jam messages as before... and I did not try your other suggestions to go to the HP article on carriage jam error States/solutions.

I am really gratefull for your response/suggestions...fixing this problem did the usefulness of my tablet to increase dramatically to have the ability to print... cudos to you for your efforts on this forum and a big "thumbs up" for your records.

    Denny

  • On the Color LaserJet Pro CM 1410 Series HP printer paper jam

I can't find/see the paper jam on the color HP LaserJet Pro CM 1410 Series printer.  I checked the domains listed in the manual, but there is no sign of my envelope paper jam.  Y at - it info on how to do to remove the outside cover to try to find the jam?

The documentation provided by HP for a paper jam in the CM1410 series, I chose the CM1415fnw in this list of series as my example, can be found here.  HP does not have a document that has a complete failure of the product.
