  I can not get the black to print.  All the other colors print OK.  Put in a new cartridge blk (though even the former was still 3/4 full) and that has not worked.   A ran the HP print and scan doctor, says all this bbut OK still does not work.  Clean the print heads several times, still does not work. Unplugged and powered by the printer, still nothing.  Any ideas...?

• HP Deskjet 1000 color printing not correct

  I have a MsacBook computer Pro, installed the driver for the HP Deskjet 1000 and installed new cartridges black #122 and color n ° 122.

  The symptoms you describe would be compatible with a color cartridge that is not correctly print magenta.  In the paper here troubleshooting steps can help solve the problem.

  If the above does not solve the problem, then remove the color cartridge and gently pat dry the printhead on a damp cloth.  A good cartridge will have a strong task of cyan, magenta and yellow.  I suspect that your cartridge will be only the cyan and yellow.  In this case, you can check the warranty as stated in the paper here assuming that the cartridge is an original HP.  If the cartrdige is a third party charging/reman, then contact your dealer for a replacement.

  I have a PSC 1610 printer all-in-one. Mac iBook G4. Never any problems.  I do not print in color. I have set up with the purchase of a color cartridge because I learned to print black and white, the printer HP must take little ink in the color cartridge. All the tests I just ran, black and white prints fine, but absolutely no color.

  Furthermore, there is little color used to keep the nozzles clean before and after printing ink, generally this occurs even if printing in color only.   In some modes of printing color ink is used to enhance black printing, for example color can be used to "underprint' black in best mode with a few selections of media.  See here for more information.  (In the language of the page in the link your printer uses a cartrdige "HPI".)  If you don't like on color printing, just to keep the current cartridge in place.

  You don't want or need to use the old setting 'No Color Management'. Is no longer the right way to print with a custom printer profile, in the current versions of Photoshop and OS X.

  To use a custom profile to print, use the attached picture settings:

  • In the print dialog box, set the Photoshop color management menu manages colors.
  • Select your profile to the printer in the printer profile menu.
  • In the settings of printer driver Epson (under Printer Setup button) make sure that the Epson printer driver is set to the color - off management.

  

  I don't know why Adobe Color Printer Utility works in 10.11.3, because I can throw on OS X 10.10 and 10.11.   I updated my Windows 8.1 operating system (64-bit) with the provided updates, automatic updates of Windows, about two weeks ago.  After that my HP Laserjet 2840 will not print anything in color.  It copy in color, so I know that the printer still works.  Ayone have any ideas as to why this happens, and yes I tried to reinstall or update printer drivers provided on the HP website.  Still does not work and want a solution or I will throw this printer out the window, literally and buy something new that works with 8.1.

• hp8610 color printer

  I have a hp8610, ink levels are ok, but when I print a photo, some, but not all the colors are not the same as the photo I took to print. like, I printed a picture of a flower and flowers are purple, but when printed, it came out a little pink. I printed another at a birthday party and all the colors are good, except my lips wifes were purple a little dark, and his stick to lips nothing like that. What could cause this?  Thank you, dennis

  I printed the image of purple flower, it seemed a little better, not as rosy looking, I guess just wait until I take more pictures and see how it comes out, thanks for the help...
