  Hello

  I am struggling with managing several tenants with vRO and vRA.

  Currently there are a couple of tenants that are attached to a device unique vRO, but am looking to automate fully (fabric/Business groups, reservations, profiles of build, plans, etc..)

  VRO, we have only the default tenant set up (under vCAC Infrastructure Administration) because I can't add others. The tenant by default, I can't handle some of the above.

  It is advisable to deploy an instance of separate vRO to each tenant?

  Running vRO version 6.0.1 and vRA version 6.2.1

  To add a tenant in vRO, I run the workflow Library/vCloud Automation Center/Configuration/add a host vCAC.  This workflow ask you the name of the tenant.  So for me in the inventory, I have several entries under vCloud Automation Center.  Sometimes I even different instances for the same tenant, just using a different connection.

  This seems unusual to me. Why and who do you call to keep your phone number? Do you take your phone with you when you travel? Just set up a reminder that you make the call. I'm not aware of any way to have the phone to make the call. Should what type of response you do when you get that call? I don't see how having the phone automatically call a number no response after that the call would end would solve anything.

  1. replace all quotation marks simple quotes

  2. place all the quotation marks double quotes

  3. change the entire multiple single space

  4 remove the trailing white space

  Right now, I open the FIND/REPLACE box and run all 4 tasks manually.

• Update AVAST again w of its Firefox browser browser windows just 2 min. Help!

  AVAST has been, for me, a horror of virus protection. I bought the version of internet security (3 licenses) in order to protect the banking info - & today on my laptop at home I have innocently allowed him to update. Now, he installed something called SafeZone, that I can't seem to turn off. It turns on automatically several browser windows on top of my 13.0.1 Firefox (which I love) and in this case literally every 2 or 3 minutes... even by typing here he did it at least 3 times. At the office, I have to disable Avast so my printers do NOT work. I tried their tech support. No response to several requests. I tried to connect tonight & none of my passwords previous work. I found the original e-mail showing the confirmation of my purchase in March, but google can not show so I can copy and send it to them (somehow) - it is NOT my default browser. FIREFOX is my default. So, what can I do? Any ideas? It's terrible.

  Not your answer does NOT solve my problem. But thanks for your advice and I understand that this is not a Firefox problem. I registered and posted in the user forum - Avast has been nothing but a headache. I'll use the uninstall feature (I just got it on Taskmanager applications, but of course I can't remove process).
  Lucky (?) for me - I'm exec dir of non-profit and just bought Norton via TechSoup very cheap, so going to have Avast asap & install Norton. I just hope that is not the same thing.
  I can't even ask a Q on Avast site - because it will not accept any of the passwords that I have listed here at home. I KNOW, I have contacted them several times in my office and got zero responses from support. I'll also try a system restore then.
  What a miserable program! going to restart this computer - the Avast windows browser YET to come despite trying to eliminate through the Task Manager while I typed this. It reveals the layers of browser - 12 or 13 windows - & I have to eject them.

• Satellite PRO C660 - 1LR Boot problem

  Had this laptop for a little less than 2 months, was in course of running really slow so I backed up my data and do a factory reset, during the reset of the machine restarts automatically several times. After about 6 reboots everything I got a black with a cursor screen (ctrl + alt + delete does not work), the cursor moves but nothing happens, I guess that something was wrong with the recovery so I id try again, only to find the menu F8 at boot is no longer list of computer repair. Ive tried to boot from a CD but when I press '0' and press F12 when prompted, nothing happens, I'll be just the screen windows mem test.

  Also, trying to get into the bios, I press F2 when prompted and the message very quickly becomes "HDD Recovery" then continues towards the screen of windows mem test.
  So im a bit stuck now, I tried to remove the power and battery all night, but that did not help either.

  Any suggestions how to get this working again?

  You mean that you cannot access the BIOS?
  To access the BIOS, you will need to press F2, immediately after pressing the power button. You can press F2 repeatedly in the line to make sure it worked.

  In order to boot from recovery disc, just press F12 (don t press the 0 key). This should allow the start on-screen menu. Then you may choose the CD/DVD drive as the boot source

  But this sounds like a hardware problem; I think memory or HARD drive problem so maybe that these two parts must be checked also.

  There is a nice tool called Drive Fitness Test that allows to test the HARD drive for errors

In some cases, these inconsistencies can affect the Windows Service store, and they can cause software updates not do not work. The system update tool attempts to resolve these inconsistencies. When System Update Readiness Tool detects obvious incorrect files or the registry data, it can replace the incorrect data with a corrected version.

  1. download the system preparation tool update from the link below depending on the Type of system:

• Photosmart 6510 b211-a does not print black ink.

  My printer has stopped printing in black ink. Tried several black cartridges, cleaned automatically several times, but no printerhead. The other colors work very well. I feel out of the printerhead and clean it manually, but then of course I buy another printer. Any good advice out there?

  I work with XP, and all other functions works well.

  I think I have a problem with Windows Installer.  I get error 1310: impossible to write in c:\config.msi\...

  It happens with Quickbooks first 2009 and a couple of other facilities.  I tried unsubscribing msiexec and re-application.  Does not help.  Any ideas?

  The detailed steps are included as below:

• Blue screen that says: "power driver error."

  I started having trouble with my computer (HP laptop) yesterday. It was Frost, which he's never done before. Sometimes it freezes completely and even the mouse doesn't move, but more often it freezes when I am trying to open something and he maintains that thinking and it is said that the program has stopped responding, but I can't move between programs and the cntrl + alt + delete won't allow me to close the program. For example, the control panel or even a folder of papers on my desk. I did some 'number of system recovery' and it doesn't seem to help. I'm afraid, it may be something to do with my diet, but I honestly only know the basics of operation and maintenance, so I'm not an expert. I've been out of the country in the last 3 months and I will not return to the States for another 12 days, so I don't know how long it will be until I can find someone that makes my phone look, so any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

  What is the full error message that you receive?

  Given that the problem does not persist in safe mode, the problem may be caused by certain third-party applications or drivers present on the computer.

  Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

  Step 2: The computer in the boot and a test to see if the problem persists

  Follow step 1 in the link below,

  How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

  If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

  Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

  After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.
