  Systems of lie detector (polygraph) generally work looking at physiological responses to the baseline subjects own and this in real time.  You can use a file that represents the stored "database" for the subject, but the overall environment, the circumstances, the general State of the subject, etc. is perhaps not sufficiently similar to easily see the subtle changes.

  From the stored file, you can determine a set of parameters or thresholds that indicate "normal, relaxed" for each signal.  You can play the file in your LabVIEW program, treat each channel and save these settings.  Then when you have the new data, you can read the new data file in and treat in a similar way and then determine if the settings are off limits you set for a 'lie '.

• How to generate two different analog signals in two different screws

  I use a card PCIe-6321 and a block of connection SCB-68. As it has two analog outputs, I use one of these outputs in a Vi to generate a square wave, and the other in an another VI to generate a sinusoidal output waveform. Each VI perfectly work separately, but if I run one then the other, the other sends no signal. Because I don't want to merge the two screws (it is more convenient to use them separately), how can I find out so that they work together (sometimes).

  Of course, independent maps with timing motors, controlled by the works of independent screws.

• simple DMA FIFO reading two analog channels

  I have a question on a method of data transfer between two analog inputs for a simple DMA FIFO in FPGA. The code is described here: http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-6303. If I use this method, and I got out in a graph of my host VI, the calendar in the graph reflects the same schedule as the signals that have been entered? Or will they be phase shift between two signals?

  Because it is not all information of timing with the signals in the FIFO, there will be no lag phase on the chart.

• myDAQ inaccurate reading of the analog signal

  Hello

  I'm usign the myDAQ in lieu of a USB6341 who is busy on another configuration. The DIF is with the USB6341 I connect two analog inputs without any noise problems, whereas with the myDAQ, I get what you see in the image as an attachment.

  Now, (the white line) of a flat line but often I get all these ouliers tips coming clearly through the myDAQ.

  Two different voltage on two analog input signals of the my DAQ I can see the same spikes descending in the same moments for both signals, which is another confirmation that the noise is added by the myDAQ.

  Also, try different myDAQs (we have many University) does not solve the problem.

  Any idea on how to solve this problem?

  How the signal looks like with the myDAQ scope Soft Front Panel?

  Although the USB-6341 has different (and better) specifications seems to be rather a noise or signal problem floating.
  Can you 100% certainly confirm that you do not see this problem with the USB-6341 when you perform a differential measure?

  Have you tried the method explained in Figure 7 on page 13?
  Do you see a difference when doing this?

• Create two independent signals and a pulse train with NI USB-6259

  Hi all

  I'm new to the forum, I searched but I've found no info about it.

  I have recently set up a vi that is able to generate from an NI USB-6259 case two different signals in frequency, amplitude and phase (see attachment).

  To do this with each cycle of the memory buffer size is changed accordingly for frequencies in order to see a whole number of periods and, thus, having not leak in the generation (or breaks).

  Now, I would like to generate a pulse train at a frequency that is an integer multiple of the frequency of the input signal (not the 50 Hz one).

  The resulting frequency of the pulse train could be changed on the fly (or at least be updated at each new round of vi).

  I'm stuck because I have already said that two analog output channels and I want the pulse train so that a digital camera for my Board (channel PFI) output, you have any ideas?

  PS. the vi is "program generazione.vi" but you must first install "signal.vi production".

  It is a simple .vi which generates a configurable, buffered pulse train dynamically. I also want to let you know that with this type of advice (DAQ), it is impossible to update the output in real time. You must be careful because the time between you use "DAQmx Write" and the output effective physical change not IS NOT FIXED.

• generation of digital, analog signals read snap SMU-6358

  I have two SMU-6358 card and I want to send control signals to my camera and read the analog signals from the device with them.

  For the digital control signals, I tried to set up a system where I specify the identifiers of the pins, bring them into arrays of strings - the respective waveforms would be collected in the tables too - and I transfer them to a VI of inputs/outputs multiples that puts digital waveforms for the cards output pins.

  I developed this code here, but it doesn't seem to work. I can't understand how I can convert the string and form table wave to meet the requirements of the input/output VI or which another VI I could use to do the job. Or is there a smarter way to do it?

  Please find attached the VI in LV 8.6 format. Also, I HIGHLY recommend to rearrange the front panel and which makes it neater, your code is very hard to read and not structured at all. I hope this helps!

• Problem when the PWM signal combinning and analog signal TOGETHER!

  Hello everyone,

  first I DAQmx 6212, and I need to run the water pump small (9V - 16V) that should be driven by a PWM signal; I also have a motor (5V - 13V) for a water supply which must be controlled by an analog signal and it has built in a force feedback potentiometer, I logged onto this potentiometer correction + 5V the DAQmx and used the output voltage of the third extremety as a value to diagnose to know the position of the engine.

  My VI shows:

  1 is a normal meter production to create my PWMout signal.

  2 is an analog input, I use it as a PWMin to the LabVIEW to diagnose what is happenning in my pump water through the cycle and frequency.

  3 is an entry of the third extremety of the analog potentiometer.

  4 is an analog output that I used as power supply of the motor valve and I used an AC/DC amplifier for aplify signal the DAQmx and the motor road, between the two (3. 4.) I made a comeback with a few calculations, I had a P-controller to know the real position of the engine valve.

  My problem:

  When setting to 1. and 2. in the same VI only, I get an own PWM output with no problem.

  also with 3. and 4. in the same VI only i can control the motor valve without any problem.

  but when I put all these 4 set found in the attached VI, I have a problem as the engine valve turn continuously without stopping even if I change the position of the valve between 0 and 100%, I should mention that I see a PWM normal outside a signal on my oscilloscope, another thing to delete one of (1 or 2)  and run the engine valve VI works fine without any problems.

  so this my problem, if you can think of any solution please let me know.

  Here's your VI, slightly modified so the two analog inputs belong to the same task.  This if only for purposes of illustration, I him have not tested.  You will still need to do some debugging.

  While changing your VI, I noticed another potential problem with your original configuration.  You have configured the two tasks of AI for the same frequency, but read you 10000 samples of one of them and only 100 samples from the other (and throw it most of it).  Data acquisition data are buffered, and if you read as fast as you acquire, the buffer fills eventually.  If you read 10,000 samples of a channel, and the other channel acquires at the same rate, then when you read from the second channel you will get old stale data or an error full buffer.

  I subtract channels and use the CHNFIND function to search for string values that are zero or nearly zero.

  I'm reading 3 analog signals using PXI or 6070E simultaneously. I'm looking for on what axes correspond to what analog inputs? It's the same thing all the time, or should I set up?

  For example, currently, the pines 68 and 34 are the + and - of the AI0 channel. But I can't find the rest.

  How you are looking for the list of the pins? Look in the manual or in MAX, right-click on the device and select 'device pinouts. Ai0 is 68, ai1 is 33, ai2 is 65. The pins do not change. What changes is ending the pins to use if differential or single acquisition. For example, if you purchase a differential signal with ai0, you use pins 68 (ai0) and 34 (ai8).

• Help stairs analog signal

  Hi all

  I'm still new to LabVIEW, but I played a little enough to create a simple analog signal generator. Product signals appear staircased when displayed on an oscilloscope, but are smooth, when I read the signals in an entry (as shown by the graph on the waveform) analog. How can I change my program settings so that I can see this staircased signal?

  I run LabVIEW 2010 and use a data USB X Series multifunction acquisition.

  I was wondering if it was possible to use LabVIEW to compare two PDF files (that contain images as well as text) to another. I know that Bluebeam PDF viewer can do, so I was hoping there was a way to do it with LabVIEW.

  Read each file as a simple string, and then compare the two strings for equality.

  (You can also do a few tests before, for example just to see if the sizes are equal)
