The Officejet 470wf has a USB or WiFi connection but no standard battery.

The Officejet 470wbt has wireless Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and a battery.

The Officejet 100 has wireless Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and a battery.

Only the 100 Officejet is currently offered by HP (at least in the United States), others have been abandoned.

  • Comparison of portable HP G6

    Hey guys,.

I am currently looking to buy a laptop and I'm undecided between two laptops: HP Pavilion G6 2395sa and 2276sa G6. The first is AMD powered by a dual processor core A6 4400 M with an AMD Radeon HD 7520 G graphics card. The other is Intel powered by an Intel Core i3 3110M processor and graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 card. I went to several stores around me which is better, and they said that the 2395sa is best for general use and graphic wise. But after doing some research myself, I believe that the 2276sa is faster with respect to the processor. That's why I wanted another opinion, laptop that is best with regard to global for everyday use material and in terms of games (such as simple games like the simulators/TF2, not heavy PC games).

    Comments are welcome.

    Thanks, Wailun

The graphics are a little louder on the model of AMD, but not as much as you think. The HD4000 Intel isn't too bad for something other than power games and the Radeon HD7520G will still disappoint, in this arena, just a little less. Overall I could get into trouble, but I tend to steer people away from AMD laptops. AMD has upped their game a bit recently, but in terms of power and heat, and just a power of zeros and each management Intel i-series are the best thing out there right now. That said, the AMD models offer an interesting value proposition, but for an extra $50-150, I'll take the Intel.

  • PSC 1610 all-in-one several error messages

Hi and thank you for providing this service.  I have a PSC 1610 all-in-one, bought in August 2005 which is used with a Compaq Presario Windows XP (they were purchased as a Pack).  I started to receive error messages, more which start with 0 x, I have determined is an ink system failure.  Sometimes the messages sometimes say 'failed to initialize' or 'hw_interrupt '. At this point, I can use the power button on the 1610 and it restarts, sometimes producing a print.  Other times he repeats just with a different error message.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software from the original CD, and also did the instructions on here regarding unplug USB cable, power unit, waiting, etc.  but unfortunately, I'm still having the same problems.

I guess my questions are 1) is there anything else I can try to solve the problem and get back to happily print my genealgical research and/or 2) because the machine obviously lack of professional maintenance and it's so old, I would be better off just buying a new all-in-one?  (New Anthing I would buy would have both with this older Presario and a laptop HP 3 year running Windows Vista).

    HI -.

I'm guessing you've already gone through the steps described in this document?  If so, on the only option I know is him having served.  In answer to your other question, with the price of all-in-one now, it is probably a better option to just buy a new one.  You can find the plug on current on this site printers.  You can do some comparisons between several printers to see what OSs are supported.  Wish I had better news.

    Hope that helps.

1: I have never seen a list of compatibility for Thinprint, but I guess that most of the printers will work without problem.  We have at least 20 different types of printers and the only one I ever had problems with was the Xerox Phaser.

2: I guess it depends how you try to map the scanner.   If it's a multi function printer/scanner/fax that it can work, but if you try to use the USB redirection, then he's going to need a driver.

3: in my limited testing, it should work without problems.  Actually I stole just my poster session that was on my desktop connected to my laptop and it mapped my unique portable printers.

I have been using this Toshiba 750 GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive to clone my computer with NTI echo regularly, but now I want to use the player to launch mirror Carbonite image on.  Because the player was not visible under 'Computer' on my machine, I tried the portable player to the computer for Windows 7 to my wife where it displays correctly and I was able to do a full format of the portable drive.  Despite this, my computer is not displayed under 'Computer' portable player, but it appears under "devices and printers"...    Thank you for your understanding!

  • WSD port for printers and TCP/IP ports monitor, what is the difference?

There are a lot of discussions on IP etc. addresses for printer problems. There is no mention of a new feature for the port for printers, WSD port for plug-and-play printers, I assume that the IP addresses have no importance with WSD, my printer is vaguely configured for the WSD port and TCP/IP port, can someone please expain

Here is a description I found

The WSD Port Monitor is a new printer port monitor in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.  This port monitor supports printing on network devices that are designed to include Web Services for devices (WSD) technology.  Services Web for devices allows devices connected to the IP-based network announce their functionality and to provide these services to customers using the Web Services Protocol.  Clients and devices WSD communicate on the network using a series of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) messages on UDP and HTTP (S).  WSD for devices offers a plug-and-play network experience that is similar to the installation of a USB device.  Services Web for devices also defines a security profile that can be extended to provide additional protection and authentication by using certificates based on the device.

WSD is not a port, but a port monitor.  A port monitor looks at information from the TCP/IP port and makes routing or changes based on what happens in the port.

This link has some in the description of the depth of the WSD port monitor:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2008/02/11/WS2008-the-WSD-port-monitor.aspx

Back to the comparison of the IP address as a P.O. box.  Once the letter arrives in the POST box, someone needs to come empty the box or letters are going no where.

When the data comes in the TCP/IP port a port monitor is where I look for that to happen.  The WSD port monitor would take over this function from the standard TCP/IP port monitor.

  • Dell Portable backup drive hard - 2 to

I am trying to use a backup hard drive Portable Dell (2 TB) on my Asus 64 bit laptop running windows 7 Home Premium (SP 1).  When I first plugged it in the usb port, he showed that he was downloading drivers.  It shows in devices and printers as a portable device, but the manufacturer is unknown.  But I do not see the drive in Windows Explorer.  I also tried to work through a powered usb hub and it is still not recognized in Windows Explorer.  Y at - it ideas?

    Hi Adolphsendl,

There are several reasons why an external hard drive may not appear in the Explorer, a conflict of being one of the most common drive letter. The first two places to check if the device is recognized by the operating system are the disk management and Device Manager. In disk management, you can partition the drive and manually assign a drive letter that is not in conflict with existing devices.

I get this diagnostic report after trying to access the network, records, that I tried
access it from the same computer that is Windows 7. I do this first-hand

    Help. Thank you! :)

Hi Mr. Bennet Martin! Thank you for your response to my query. Articles somehow helped, but just to let you know, when I go to 'Share with' option, for some reason any is that I've only got 'advanced sharing. Anyway I always tried to navigate and wander through the dialog box, and here are the steps I'd like to share:

Local disk > share with > Advanced sharing > sharing tab > Advance sharing button > check the box "share this folder" > permissions * > click Add a button > click Advanced button > click on 'Search' > select NETWORK > CLICKED OK

Once the NETWORK is added, I clicked on all the check boxes under permissions to "allow".

He FINALLY solved the problem! I can access my own files on the same laptop when I go to 'Network' on the left side of the pane. Now the other laptop can also access all my files on the selected drive. Thank you for all your help Sir and I hope that this can also be useful to others! God bless you!

  • Compatibility of Portable HP Officejet H470 with Windows 7 wireless capabilities

I bought a HP Officejet H470 back in 2010 and the wireless features are not compatible with Windows 7.  Does anyone have information looking for drivers of compatibility?  I did not.

Original title: Portable HP Officejet H470

It seems that if cut off the part of your answer.  For this

When I download the base drivers or the full version, the system does not recognize my USB connection.  Can't find it on the

say you cannot the printer to be installed even by using a USB connection?  The printer must be installed using the USB cable before installing the wireless adapter (although this is not mandatory).

    This

When I insert the USB key for the printer (802. 11 b/g adapter USBeless LP/SC) the following message is what I get when I try to update the driver:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information.

To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.

sounds as if you plug the wireless USB adapter into your computer.  If I understand correctly, you're supposed to plug this unit into the printer.  See these directions: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01160515&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c01160515/loc:1 & cc = us & dlc = en & lc = en & product = 3619495 for some pictures.

I think it's time for a fresh start.

What follows assumes you have another printer installed on this computer (or you don't mind reinstalling all other printers).  If this assumption is not correct, proceed to the "light option" below.

This procedure also assumes that you have never installed this printer on a network that uses a router. Your printer is able to record 3 different network profiles.  As far as I know, the Setup program on the CD assumes that the printer is at its default value of the plant, so if you have already configured the printer works on a wireless network, Setup may not work correctly.  To deal with this, the simplest method is to reset the configuration of the network default printer (assuming that you have more need configured network settings before).  To reset all 3 network profiles, press and hold the Power button, press the Cancel (X) button twice and then press the Resume button (down arrow) six times.  See user's Guide page 58

    1. Unplug the printer from the computer.
    2. Uninstall all software of printer from the control panel > programs and features.
    3. Download and run Microsoft 'Full mode' fix 50979 from here--> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2793718/en-us
    4. Restart the computer.
    5. Connect the adapter to the printer wireless
    6. Run the "full functionality" package that you downloaded (OJH470_Full_13.exe)
    7. Click the menu button for the type of connection to use (wireless)
    8. Follow the on-screen instructions, temporarily connect the USB cable when prompted

For more detailed instructions, see pages 50 et seq. of your User Guide.

Light option (if you do not want to uninstall and reinstall other printers):

For step 2, don't uninstall the HP printer software

For step 3, use the "light" mode fix 50984 from the same web page, such as 'Full' Fix It mode.

For an explanation of what do Fix It mode light and complete routines, see http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2012/02/24/microsoft-fixit-for-printing.aspx?Redirected=true&PageIndex=1#comments
