Computer stops abruptly after games for 5 minutes

Ok

This problem is more than a gambling problem, but it started as one. I installed Starcraft 2 around the time he was released and in the beginning it was only a problem that has affected this game here.

What would happen, I log into the game and play some games online. After about 10-15 mins of gametime, the computer would just closed without warning, as if someone would pull the power cable. It happened several times, and so I decided to stop and uninstall the game altogether and settled.

a month later, he would start to happen again, but this time with another game, Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, it would work for 2-3 minutes and stop in the same way as Starcraft 2. And now, I can not update my antivirus without this inexplicable failure happening!

I don't get any error reports, just the black screen offering me to enter in safe mode and other and start windows normally. Finally, 2 day actually, I reformatted my computer and moved to reinstall all windows updates and, Lo and behold, stop you again in the middle of installation, updates and now my computer wont even get to the login screen, that he just stayed on a black screen does not. I ran the recovdery CD and tried to fix it but its been 3 hours "Repairs to try" and I can't cancel the process. where can I get help in this situation so I can get rid of this problem leads?

Hello

To be able to remove ALL and reinstall all the cables (both ends), card and memory - in fact remove and
replace - do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the vents. Check that the
fans of work (before and after opening the case). If a laptop on what you can do is reinstall
memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add a small fan as a test).

Try the installation again.

This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need the help of a
real computer store (not of leeks and glances at a Best Buy or other department stores) or the system
Support from the manufacturer.

I hope this helps.

    Hello
    1. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?
    2. what browser do you use?
    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    4. What is the full error you receive with network diagnostics?

If you use Internet Explorer, then see method 1.
    Method 1:
The cause may be missing or out of date addons.
    See the site:
The problems of games online using Internet Explorer
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2528246
Method 2: update the network driver
    See the site:
Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

Method 3: Safe Mode with network and clean boot
Check if the problem persists in safe mode with network. If the problem does not persist in SafeMode with network check if the problem persists in the boot.
Step 1: Safe Mode with networking
Networking in safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers with networking. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.
    See the site:
Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
    Step 2: Clean boot
When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.
    See the following site:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 7 of article to restore your computer to normal startup.

Note: If in case, you are connected via a connection wireless, and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check wireless see corresponding section are checked (enabled).

  • Buttons radio in the html page generated by cgi script has stopped working after update for Firefox 4 (from 3.6.16).

I have disabled both of the Firefox Add-ons, I use (NoScript 2.1.0.1 & Ad Block Plus 1.3.6) and restarted the machines, but that has no effect. This problem is repeated on more than one PC, running XP Pro (sp3), Vista (sp2) professional and Server 2003 (sp2), just after the upgrade to Firefox 4, so the problem is definitely related to Firefox 4.

This could be linked to the new HTML5 rendering engine. To check for this possibility, you can temporarily disable.

    • Open Subject: config
    • In the filter box, type or paste the html5 and make a pause until the list is filtered
    • Double-click html5.parser.enable to toggle it false

It is almost always a hardware problem, not a a Windows. Both
the most likely causes are overheating and power problems.

  • HP DV6 of the computer stopped working after the update of the Bios and Memoryupgrade

    HP DV6 - 3161EO

    XE068EA #UUW

Hi, I bought a brand new HP with Intel I5 processor computer and GUI double, its been working well so far and I thought that I should upgrade the Bios and memory as well.

So I did, I bought memory 10600 and crusial 12600 and corsair, a single and two put in correspondence of the sticks, just to be in business, and I've updated the bios. of F.13 to F.29

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=SV&CC=se&DLC=SV&sw_lang=&product=4344...

The computer worked perfectly for about 4-5 hours, then there are allmost quite dead.

Ive tried to pass on different memorycabsm like the original samsungs that came with the computer.

Ive tried the famous "hard reset".

Nothing, the computer starts "boots" but don't approach the entered message turnes off.

    Presedure same each time.

Any memory I put in, the same result.

Ive used different powerbricks, turned of the computer resets hard, between 10s 2 min, picked up the bios battery, has offered free energy.

Let the rest of the computer for half a day, put it all together exept cmos battery = exactly the same as before.

"take out all the memories and the computer works and get that caps lock flashing light.

    So my question is this

Why you encourage people to update, when it's clearly the fault at hand.

Sell your computers with 8 GB of ram from the beginning so the people do not have upgraded later because your hardware is not able to manage different memorycaps of accepted and authorized as crusial or corsair providers.

Ive built perhaps 50-60 computers and had about 10 laptops and NEVER had a fault like this.

My laptop $1200 is useless, and I actually held you at HP responsible of it.

The computer is of course out of warranty, so its my own falult, as usual.

«A simple question, is there a way to 'force' a new bios on the Board, without memory of the computer, because it is the only time where it works and works welll.»

    Thnx, 'a sick owner HP.

For later use, it's really kff upward, but I got it working again.

1 changed the original memorycabs for much faster, 1600 mhz, I know that this mobo doesn't support, but he did start the computer, so I could run the Windows + arrows Bios recover.

Installed the HP bios tools F10 + GIS and it worked.

so I guess I have to myself a thank you and a boost of the kudosbutton, hahah

Well, when your computer went down, don't give up and try everything you can, this prob took me about 3-4 days to eradicate, but now its working again.

    See you soon

Important info if you received a STOP Code

If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you have purchased
Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.

If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.

These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:

    1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
    2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
    3. Check your hard drive for errors.

If the driver responsible for the error can be identified, its name is printed on the blue screen and stored in memory location (PUNICODE_STRING) KiBugCheckDriver.

    Cause

Bug control 0 x 50 usually occurs after the installation of a faulty hardware or installation failure of material (usually associated with defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM or RAM video cache).

Another common cause is a defective system service installation.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

    Resolution

    Fix a defective hardware problem:
if the material has been added to the system recently, remove it to see if the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component. You must run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

    Fix a defective system service:
disable the service and confirm that this resolves the error. If so, contact the manufacturer of the system service on a possible update. If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 to menu mode characters that displays the choice of operating system. In the Windows Advanced Options menu that results, select the last known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

    A problem of antivirus software:
disable the program and confirm that this resolves the error. If this is the case, contact the manufacturer of the program about a possible update.

    Fix a corrupted NTFS volume:
run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition. If the SCSI hard disk, check the problems between the SCSI controller and the drive.

Finally, check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help determine the device or driver that generated the error. Disable the cache in memory of the BIOS might also resolve it.

  • DV8T-1100 - Wifi connection go corrupt if it remains unused for a minute

Router DI-524 H1 - never dealth with the firmware, since it has its latest version (4.05).

Reset and reconfigured three times to certify.

Another computer and three smartphones will not get this problem

Reinstalled (Clean Install) the Intel Centrino N 6200 AGN with drivers from the HP website.

    Power Saving IS disabled.

If I leave the computer without using the internet for a minute, when I try to open a page, it does not open. The Wifi icon goes from 5 to 3 bars and turns to an alert icon afterwards.

If I click on repair, it restarts the wifi and then returns to normal.

    Advice?

Yes, this seems to be just what you described.

Just check the tab driver for the card in the Device Manager.

He should at least show a driver version and date of some time in 2012.
