  Thank you for your message.  Microsoft was right to put you in touch with the manufacturer of your.  The keyboard will fall under the material, so only they can fix or diagnose what the problem.  It could be something as simple as a bad supply or burnt cable bulb.  Anyway, that falls under HP support.

• Satellite Pro A120 - don't light - please help!

  OK, bought a new power supply, about a week ago (this could be the problem!) -on eBay and it was cheap. Laptop worked fine for a week or so, but now I get nothing from it. After activating the button walk / stop, the laptop does nothing - no fan, just a little click and a faint sound of snoring. The screen remains black. The front lights show green static when it is turned on. When I turn on with just battery, it shows orange. Any ideas, what could be wrong (and if I've done a mischief by buying an incongruous cheap adapter!). Thank you!

  You shouldn't need to disable the power management software, but simply adjust to where it is not longer Hibernate.  Take a look at this document, which should help.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP Pavilion Notebook dv9260nr and volume buttons does not.  Here's a solution.
  Try to open Device Manager by pressing the Windows key + X, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, then clicking Manager.In Device Device Manager, look for the network adapter, and then double-click the device name. Click on the driver tab, then click on set to update driver. Reboot the laptop.

  Yesterday, I opened my computer (Toshiba Satellite U940-11 t) to check the fan and clean.
  Today when I try to turn on my computer, it works as expected.

  Firstly, the launch of motherboard fan then stop.
  Second, the prior LED (power & CPU) are white, without blinking.
  My computer seems to be turned on but screen doest work... I can hear the fan going slowly...

  I tried to turn it off, remove the battery in and out of the charger, then hold the power button / stop 30 seconds then turn it back on but I does not work...

  I'm going crazy, I was so proud to do it quickly and on common sense... but locomotives mistaken.

  What can I do?

  I guess that the motherboard or a part of the motherboard (electronic power supply, CPU, etc.) likely to be affected...

  You need get better technology. There are many safeguards built into Windows Vista, but none that would prevent you to get on the Internet. Webroot is not particularly good, and has features that could be causing the problem. Uninstall Webroot and see if you can get on the Internet. If you can, then install Webroot even once if you need to and contact their support when he plays, or install a best free antivirus like Avast or NOD32 Antivirus (commercial). Use the built-in Windows Firewall.
