  The name of the connection that you created in the Workflow Manager must be identical to the value you passed in the value of the CAD parameter.

  To find the value of connection in workflow manager goto connections > relational. Here you will find the name of the connection, and this value must be the same value of the CAD parameter

• Configuration of DAC with Informatica PowerCenter Server Communication

  I'm setting up Communication Server DAC with Informatica PowerCenter, I configured the connection Imformatica (work test). The repository connection does not work.
  
  Here are the parameters:
  Name = repository Service
  Type = repository
  Host name of the server = myserver
  6001 = server port
  Login = administrator
  P/W = administrator
  Sessions of max = 10
  Name of the repository = Oracle_BI_BW_Base
  
  I set the path variable:

• Cannot configure synchronization of calendar with exchange

  Hello. I use my palm pixi to receive emails from my exchange online server. However, when I try to put in place the same exchange server to synchronize with my calendar on my phone, it won't let me. I get an error saying "an account using this e-mail already exists". I cannot select this feature from the accounts or defalt calendar under the settings menu, there that my palm, the default profile. Becomes really frustrating because I can't manage another other then the calendar on the exchange server. So far, I tried to restart, but that did not help. Thanks for any help

  Try to remove the e-mail account. Then go back and add the calendar account to see if it will pass then through. If it does not check if your email to see if he added, otherwise add it back into the e-mail settings.

  It seems that you are talking about the slideover function. To turn it off, go to settings > general > multitasking > Tower allow multiple applications off.

• Calendar not side available Wan

  Since a few days, I have a Mac Mini with OS X Server in my house with El Capitan (version 10.11.2) and OS X Server (version 5.0.15). And short... How configure you the calendar to access side Wan? I opened the 8008 and 8443 port and ordered them to my Mac mini. Nothing... Only accessible from the local network.
  Even when I put the server in the DMZ is not accessible from the Wan. When I activate Let's for example, Messages or Contacts, services are accessible from the WAN...

  It is generally a bad idea to expose services directly to the Internet, but it was not your question.

  In the sidebar of the application server window, please select the name server, and then select the Access tab. Access to the network for the service should be all the networks, if you want customers to be able to connect from anywhere. The ports on which the service is listening are also shown.

  If there is no entry for the service in the list of personalized access, the default settings will apply.

• Synchronization of old calendar items causing blackBerry Smartphones to reappear

  Hi, I hope someone can help me with a problem of synchronization, I have.

  When I synchronize between my office and blackberry lots "BOLD" of the calendar entries to the month that I rejected long are reactivated on my desk and reappear and reminders. For example I have an entry of 17 March 2006 now reappear.

  I tried to delete all the entries in the calendar of my "BOLD" and start again, but nothing helped.

  In the configuration for the Calendar Wizard, you have the possibility to choose the items to synchronize.

  You can select the current, all and a date range, make sure that you choose not to save all events.

  I clear the calendar from device again and check the configuration options.

• Cannot activate Google calendar when new accounts

  I'm new to webos (2.0.1). I tried the setting to the top of my main gmail account with my Pre2 using Google account option.

  Email and contacts sync fine, but then I get an error saying something like "this account is not configured for the calendars' and the calendar switch is set to off. (contacts, email, msg switch stays)

  Even if I turn it on then to we, the calendar will not sync at all.

  Is this a known issue? I've never had a problem syncing my calendars on my iPad, Android google or my old Treo. It also happens on my other service and google google apps accounts.

  Oh, and if I try to use EAS instead, it used to sync anything. e-mail, contacts, calendars, etc.

  I also had this problem for a long time.

  After testing autour a bit and find that the accounts of my friends have the same problem, I discovered that my password has been the problem.

  My password contained special characters (! @# $% ^ & *)-after to change that for letters and numbers only it worked without any problem.

  My guess is that the calendar app comes out correctly the password string before sending it to google.

  You can paste the DAC Server server logs?

  You can try to reboot the machine?

  You can also kill the Java process running for DAC?...

  I DAC 10.1.3 Server installed on a linux machine and I DAC client on a windows machine.
  
  When I try to connect to the DAC repository via windows DAC client it does not connect to the server (Server connection symbol is red)

  you start the CAD server on the linux machine
  for example

  then it comes back

  then start your CAD client on your windows server
  C:\opt\infa\product\10.1.3\dac_1\bifoundation\dac\startclient.bat
  (you don't need to start the server of dac on you computer windows client)

  You must have defined in configuration - "CAD system properties.
  The DAC server for example myhost.local host
  3141 DAC default server port

  Make sure the port 3141 is open on the firewall between your client windows machine and linux server
  (you can test this using telnet myhost.local 3141)

• DAC as schedular tool for Informatica workflows (not for OBIApps repository)

  I have to use as administrative DAC / Informatica workflows Planner tool. Earlier, I set up the same thing for OBI Apps. It works well. Now I'm not referring to Oracle_BI_DW_Base.rep which is the built-in repository provided with OBI Apps. I have to run my workflow through DAC. I went through the below listed steps to get the same thing,
  (1) created the new USER
  (2) that the user are used to configure the DAC connection as well regarding the DAC repository tables. (not sure if it is a good idea or not)
  (3) create a new container of system Source. (no containers were there initially)
  (4) I Informatica as 'MyRep' folder, so I created task logical and physical files with the same name in DAC (Tools = > data seeds = >...)
  (5) created new area, tables, tasks, tasks synchronize.
  (5) configure informatica servers, physical Data Sources. Tested, no flaws.
  (6) added new execution Plan.
  (7) the area assigned to him.
  (8) click on the button "generate" in the settings section of the execution plan. No generated parameter. Now I got confused.
  (* 9) I couldn't find my tasks in TASK ORDERS tab.*
  (10) click on BUILD. Then got the error message as below,
  Task MESSAGE: No found to build this execution plan.

• Connection DAC Version 10.1.3.4 to iSeries, AS / 400 V6R1

  I am faced with challenges in the physical data source configuration for DAC 10.1.3.4 for iSeries, AS / 400 V6R1. What I see in the system (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12513_01/doc/bic.101/e12654.pdf) iSeries requirements document is not supported, but there must be a way to connect the DAC to V6R1.
  
  I'm really looking for installation tips or advice on how to set the physical data source. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Try this:

  Install IBM Client:

  In the DAC of physical data sources
  Using the JDBC driver: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver
  URL JDBC: jdbc:as400: / /.

  Move the file jt300.jar in the folder of \lib DAC
  and in the config.bat, change the following line to include jt400.jar
  the value DB2LIB=.\lib\db2java.zip;. \lib\jt400.jar

• How to set up multiple calendar to 7.9.6 OBIA

  Friends, could someone please explain to me what this 'Multiple calendar' option is to 7.9.6. There is not much information in the configuration in this respect guide.
  
  My Question is, is 'Multiple Calendar Options' means 7.9.6 supports different calendars but at a time or it support more than one calendar at a time in the application.
  
  Where I come from the East, our source is EBS and some business users want OBIA calendar to match the EBS so that they can see periods of adjustment so... but on the other side, they also want analysis weekly... which is not present in EBS (our EBS is configured with 445 calendar adjustments... is so much more low periods)... so do not know how to go on this issue.
  
  is there a possibility to use EBS from Claendar (company) as well as another 445 calendar that will give us the week level analytical skills? Lets say it allows different calendars at the same time... so how does it work?... t - it aggregates for different calendars?... Please explain.

• Could not import the DAC repository

  I install BIA7.9.5 on R12.
  
  Now, I want to configure the DAC but when I go to:
  Tools-> Dac repository management-> impoirt
  
  And choose the application Oracle R12.
  And truncate tables
  
  Now when I press OK nothing happens.
  I still see the same screen, no error in not other things. Looks like that the button does not work.
  
  I configured config.bat with JAVA_HOME and DAC_HOME good.
  
  Did anyone had any idea why this happens?

  I had the same problem because on my client machine, I had installed the last version of Java because the requirements said JDK 1.5 or higher. However, it seems that you get this bug "button does nothing" with 1.6. I installed the final version of 1.5 and mounted my config file.

  On your client change \DAC\config.bat

  REM JAVA_HOME=C:\app\Java\jdk1.6.0_12 set
  Set JAVA_HOME=C:\app\Java\jdk1.5.0_17

  The idea of this fix came to this post
