• IOM Login authentication fails when the IOM API call

  We have a small custom application written to make the update of some attributes of the user on OIM. This app works great on the development system, as well as the test system. However, when you run the program on the live system, it generates the error below. Please note that we use the IOM 11.1.1.5, test and production are under linux, while the development system is running windows 7. The test system is a single instance, while IOM in a production environment is clustered. Quick response will be very useful.

  There was incorrect values in the jndi.properties file causing problems. After the correction of the connection of IOM file worked properly.

  I have a client who cannot log in to the display of the content with its Adobe I.D. so he can't see the project that I have developed for him. When you connect, it gets the message "Authentication failed" dreaded.   I recently installed the Adobe Content Viewer app on my iPad. When I try to connect with my Adobe ID, it says "authentication failed".  I tried to uninstall, and then put it back, change passwords, etc.  Nada.  I can connect without problems on the site, but were not able to connect to the application successfully yet.  Thanks for your help.

  OK, I just stumbled on another post on that.  Apparently, he must go to https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/app.html and login here, precisely.  Once you do, it will bring up another set of terms you need to accept.  Once you do this, the ipad application will authenticate your login.

  Must be the best direction to what 'authentication failed' in the application.  It took far too long to figure out.  I'm not a creator of digital content and publishing, only one user ("pushed" to me).  So, I would have normally no reason to connect on the site digitalpublishing.

  In our case, we are sure that Kerberos will fail because we allow agencies 'B' to access this application of reliable source.

  Kerberos fails and the application should display the name of user and password page and then authenticate.

  In the web.xml file changed auth method basic with Kerberos, set up successfully.

  'A' agency users can make successful Kerberos SSO. But when an agency "B" SSO access will fail with 401 and the application appears pop base with the name of user and password fields.

  When the user provides the details and present application returns 401 again. not able to go beyond these steps.

  Did you go digitalpublishing.acrobat.com, connect with the Adobe ID and accept the terms of use? If this is not the case, do using a computer. You can't do this from a mobile device. This is not an automatic process, you must do it manually.

  Most disturbing is the installer claims installation succeeded, even if the installation of the ACV has failed.  I can install LCA by hand (by running 'Install Adobe Content Viewer.app').  This happens inside a computer virtual de VMware Fusion with Mac OS X 10.8.2 (I use a virtual machine because I have to build a distribution of the proceeds of the installation setup of base of AIR DPS Desktop Tools.  This was not a problem with previous revisions of DPS Desktop Tools).

  I have to connect and download problems after the Content Viewer on iPad 3.0 update.
