• DPS create App problem - can not download created iPad app

  Hello

  I created an application in inDesign.  I went through the process of creating my mobile dylancriou etc. The end result is my app was created in DPS App Builder but I can't figure out how to download the app on my ipad.  The only thing I see in the details of the App is to activate via integrated soft unique edition App.  I thought I could just create the app and download it to my ipad to view and test.

  Your best bet is to use the Adobe Content Viewer to preview your content. While that allow to improve the final application, it gives you a way to develop content and get all the interactivity made.

  You can either download the folio on Folio producer through the Builder Folio plugin Panel, then connect to ACV on your iPad to see it, or use the Preview on the device. • graphical waveform shortcut menu problems

  We discovered a problem about shortcut menus on maps of waveform with our current installation of LV2009f2.

  In the development environment ("IDE"), we have created a larger application. In the display section, we have several graphics (waveform), where the user can select the signal traced by the contextual menu (aka the context menu). When running the application in the IDE so good, the menus are displayed with all of the elements, we have defined.

  So we have finished the debugging (so we thought) and created an executable. Then, we tested the executable on the same computer (the computer with IDE installed full). Everything if fine, context menus are shown as expected.

  So, we got to the next step in the creation of an installation package (which resulted in a size of 0.99 GB btw...). LabVIEW makes no complaints and we have installed this app (using the Installer) on a clean computer. No problems so far, our application has started, everything was fine. But then we tried to change the display: NO POPUPS! Instead, we had error 1165 (problems with Insert on the Menu, "Can't find the menu"). What happens here? Anyone with a clue? Where is my menu (reference)?

  OK, we had a second computer. Install this package of 0.99 GB too. From the app: just fine, except the missing context menus!

  More information:

  All computers are Windows XP, Service Pack, even. Context menus don't require no RTM file, so no missing additional files in the installation package. Menu references created by LabVIEW (IDE or RuntimeEngine [RTE]) on right mouse click on the control, so that there should be no problem with the benchmark missing or false. The values supplied to generate the menu are the same for the IDE and RTE, so no difference. The graphics are incorporated into a secondary, but still only had events for them, so we no problem. New: the reference for the menu is provided by LabVIEW (event "Activating the context menu", MenuRef), so it should be valid...

  Sorry, no example. It is difficult to reproduce, when it only happens to RTÉ and only on computers, where no IDE is installed...

  Tomorrow we will fill to the top of the VI for creating menu with a lot of debug message subVIs to check everything and everything is going on in there...

  I found a solution for my problem (after a long session to create exe, deployment to a different computer, debugging and start all over again...).

  In deployments executable the shortcut menu for the chart is missing (and is missing only here!). So I first test a menu empty on each activation of the menu and create a new menu if necessary. To do this, you will need to turn off (disable) "default DURATION of the context menus" during the VI containing the graphic.

  A note more:

  All other paid (menus VI other) are loaded correctly, all loaded screws work dynamically. It's only the RTM shortcut missing... (And the RTM file is set to 'always include' in the application Builder!)

  El Capitan: App Store poster update available (for example the most recent iTunes update). It seems to be but then disappears from the two lists 'available' and 'installed '. This has happened too with a security update. Any ideas gratefully received!

  While holding down the option/alt key, click the  menu and select system information. When the report appears to look in the software section for the facilities. Updates show there? If so, can you control - click on the update and get an option Hide?

• How to force Windows 8.1 programmatically refresh/update the Apps menu after start lnk files manually editing menu

  I would like to know if there is a call to API or similar which will refresh the menu apps dynamically.  Because of the way that the applications menu groups of shortcuts by default, if you have multiple items of the same seller they will most likely be displayed together.  It becomes quite confusing when all the shortcuts have the same name.  This happens more often than I like.  To minimize confusion, I have a version icons to move to a different subfolder under start\program c:\programdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start.

  For example, two versions of IBM ODM are installed, they have almost identical shortcuts but both are needed by the developer, so we have:

  c:\programdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\IBM\ODM 8.5.1

  c:\programdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\IBM\ODM 8.7

  In the view menu apps, all will be grouped under "IBM."  I moved and renamed ODM 8.7 to:

  c:\programdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\IBM ODM 8.7.

  However, the menu apps will always show both sets of icons as everything under 'IBM' however a game does not work (because they have been moved).  without any other process, the only way I found to refresh, it's to open a session and return twice.  Reboot, restart explorer.exe (someone suggested that) or other tricks mentioned in the links down below has no effect.

  Steps to recreate:
  1 see the menu apps

  2. rename any existing subfolder which is directly under start\program c:\programdata\Microsoft\windows\Start

  3. open the menu of apps again.  the modified file should be not displaying and in the old group of folder shortcuts no longer work.
  4. open a session once and relog in.  Still, the change should not display.
  5. open a session once and relog again.  The change should now display.

  This delay in the update of behavior has been observed by several people, one that suits that I remember:

  I asked several days regarding the exchange of Experts to see if anyone knew a method without a resolution so far other than workarounds: Experts-Exchange: Windows Apps Menu 8.1 will not update dynamically when you manually change the locations of shortcuts

  Any advice would be greatly appreciated I know I will run into this many times in the future when the native installer does not permit you to change the location of the shortcut.

• Creating cloud App lists my version of LR in "trial" when I have a paid subscription. How can I fix?

Finally got everything settled, but Creative Cloud Desktop App tilts my version of LR in "trial" when I have a paid-up photography subscription which includes PS (PS app is fine).   Make sure that you install products on a new computer, rather than transfer, copy, or restore them.

  This is a unique feature of Mac.

• Creating cloud App open and close / crash immediately.

  There is no error message.

  I just saw icon cloud on the bar at the top for a few seconds and disappear from it and nothing happened.

  What I did:

  • reset and reinstal the CC App several times
  • Uninstall CC App and run a cleaning of Adobe tool and clean CC App. Install it again

  I still installed on Mac CS6 and cannot uninstall this time.

  I found what the problem was.

  Another application causing the cc crashing.

  If someone using GROWL for Mac this application has a conflict with CC App.

  I close this application and everything seems to work properly.

• Can I create an app preview of work without creating a certificate, etc.?

  All I have to do is create an app to work for a Tablet (Android - Galaxy 10.1) Preview to qualify as a presentation of the company only on this one tablet. It is an InDesign document of 80 pages with hyperlinks, interactivity, video, and I wonder if I have to go through the registration process, certificates etc all just to do this?

• Error creating new app

  Attempted to create a new application this morning and I get the following error:
  ORA-20001: unable to create modules. ORA-20001: unable to create the application. ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEX_040000.WWV_FLOWS_ALIAS_IDX) violated.
  
  We are on version 4.0 of the apex
  I take the default value for the number of app
  2 level tabs, theme 20, 1 blank page.
  
  Any suggestions on why this error pops up.
  
  Additional information [edit]. When I enter a number of different app I had no problem to create the app. I make an assumption, but it seems that the number generated app using both and was eliminated. Something somewhere still has the number of removed app stored and that's why I get the error.

  I had the same problem, but in version 3.2 of the Apex.

  It seems that an application alias must be unique inside a workspace Apex.
  The alias of the application is automatically created by the application wizard, but there is no verification whatsoever if this alias already exists or not.

  When the newly created application alias clashes with an existing alias, you will get the dreaded * "ORA-20001: unable to create modules." ORA-20001: unable to create the application. ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEX_040000.WWV_FLOWS_ALIAS_IDX) violated. "* error, it is not very useful.
  I think that might be described as a bug of Apex that has existed for some versions.

  To solve the problem, I use the following query to track the applications have an alias that does not match their application_id.

  select *
    from apex_applications a
   where a.alias like 'F___'
     and substr(a.alias, 2) != to_char(a.application_id)
   order by 2 desc;
  

  You will see that your new alias application is already used by an existing application, then you can fix it manually if you want in the screen of application definition.

• Start Menu problem - another file opens when I select a file to open in the start menu

• Remove Desktop Icon shortcut arrow without creating a black square problem

  I found the following on the web to make the desktop icons disappear (they are transparent rather).  However, it has created a new problem; black square after turning on the laptop the next day.  Black squares did not show up on top of each simple desktop icon, but it's quite a few of them.  I was able to get rid of the black squares by reversing what has been created in the registry keys. but of course the arrows are back.  I don't want to.

  These are the instructions for WINDOWS 7 Home Premium 64-bit: (this is what I'm running on my laptop)

  1. press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box, type regeditand press ENTER.

  2 in regedit, navigate to the location below:
