Creative Cloud Desktop shows installed Lightroom when it is not and will not upload.
I bought and installed 6 Lightroom before realizing that there was no update as with Lightroom 2015. I uninstalled Lightroom 6 then bought a subscription to Creative Cloud with Lightroom and Photoshop. When I download Creative Cloud Desktop, it opens saying that Lightroom is up-to-date, even if I uninstalled version 6. I can't Lightroom CC to download since Creative Cloud Desktop think it is already installed. Any ideas on how to overcome this barrier?
I had already tried these steps and it did not help. In my case I had to uninstall all Adobe products (Flash, Reader, etc.) and rerun the creative cloud cleaner, manually search in my registry for every vestige of Adobe Lightroom and restart before I could reinstall Creative Cloud Desktop and get installed Lightroom.
Thanks for the suggestions John T Smith

My Creative Cloud Desktop application said that apps that are not installed.
Important thing to note: I system restored yesterday, that deleted programs I had installed the day before.
After my previous discussion received no response, I looked for solutions more and found one of only two weeks now has suggested that the OOBE folder I have rename was not correct. I should go in Program Files/Common Files/Adobe and rename the OOBE folder it OOBE_old. While I'm looking for what I am on the phone with a customer service representative I annoyingly do not remember the name that is asking for the remote control of my computer, I am reluctant to give it, of course. So I tell him that I am running this solution, that he says is very well. So I run the solution, and finally, the creative cloud desktop application does not start with a blank screen! In fact, he asked my username and password! I enter and access the normal page in the list of installed applications, etc. Except, there is no trace of the apps installed on my computer, in fact, the creative Cloud Files folder is empty. They are not in my list of installed programs. Because, of course, they were removed yesterday by restoring the system. But, he now doesn't give me the option to reinstall. I tell the customer Rep this service. Then, the customer service representative hangs up on me. Hangs up on me.
I still don't have a solution, and the man who could have given me one clearly did not bother to do. It is representative of your customer service?
I care more about this issue, to be perfectly honest.
For the benefit of any person who has the same problems as me, that's what I did to solve it:
I run the Adobe CleanerTool to wipe the creative cloud. Then I executed a second time to erase any trace of cloud creative apps. Now! It works! No thanks to the customer service.

I've been subscribing to the 9.99 lightroom and photoshop for almost a year. Yet, when I go to the tab on the creative cloud applications he repeatedly told that I have to install lightroom. However, for photoshop it is said that I have to update the application. When I check in Lightroom under updates, it says my software is up to date. Why is this happening?
Yes, it's confusing, but simply install the new version of Lightroom. In the creative cloud application Lightroom still shows as a facility not as an Update.

Creative cloud wants my proxy password, when I do not have a proxy configured.
This is beyond frustrating.
After a few days of the installation of creative cloud for the first time I started to receive the screen below:
Problem is that my COMPUTER service repeatedly informed me that I am does not work behind a proxy server and that none has been established. What they did was download and install Adobe Creative Cloud.
Now, I can not connect to creative cloud to get new updates.
What is going on?

Hi Juliet,.
It is sometimes simply because of the example of .to install language, if you install the app in English and you change the language in the CC to the french desktop prefs, it will show as not installed.
Make sure that the language on prefs Office CC is the same as the installation language:

It was supposed to be just a simple process, but stubbornly fails each try.
On Mac, you can watch on your activity monitor and close the suspension process.
After that, restart your computer and install the desktop creative cloud application.

It is not recommended to restore creative cloud of time machine that not all necessary files have been restored.
Please try this:
Uninstall the creative Cloud Desktop application
Restart your computer
Download and install the office creative cloud at this link for Download Adobe Creative Cloud

No Apps on Creative Cloud Desktop (Windows 10) tab
The 'Apps' tab does not appear in the desktop creative cloud application. I can't install apps at the moment.
I tried the right answer here: missing Creative Cloud desktop applications tab
but it did not work for me. I modified the file, entered into the creative process of Cloud and restarted my computer, but the app tab is still missing.
Is there another solution?
I finally piece together a solution by using information in a comment in this thread, you have connected: don't see not the tab on my desk of creative cloud Apps
It was not the "correct" answer to this thread. The solution that worked for me, I will summarize here:
1. go to your ...\AppData\Local\Adobe folder
2. delete these folders: AAMUpdater and OOBE
3. start the CC cleaning tool found here: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems
4. Select 'Creative cloud' only and remove only creative cloud
5 reinstall the creative cloud
The comment that got me from this thread was this: Re: missing Creative Cloud Desktop applications tab
