  Hi all

  I use NI PXI-1031(4 slot PXI chassis). I have the following cards in the respective locations
  Slot 1 = controller PXI-8106
  Slot 2 = PXI-6259 card (I)
  Location 3 = card(DI,DO) PXI-6509
  4 = Card (DNET) PXI-8532 accommodation

  Max (Measurement & Automation Explorer), I expect the cards above (PXI 6259, 6509 & 8532) to be detected under devices and Interfaces. But only cards and DIO are detected in MAX under deported systems > PXI > devices and Interfaces.
  PXI-6259 (PXI1 Slot2)
  PXI-6509 (PXI1 Slot3)

  The unit net card, PXI-8532 is not detected in Max MAX shows / detects the DNET card?

  In MAX, I chose the menu Tools > NOR-DNET > RT Hardware Configurations. Then a window prompt you for IP address of RT. After you enter the IP address, I pressed OK. A message appears that no device is found.

  Can someone help me how to detect card DNET in MAX and make the configuration of the port DNET?

  I try to answer two questions:

  1. the new APUI is compatible with the former, but if you use screws with the old APi you need to replace the screws with the new. There is a white paper related to the download page and here it is again that explains how.

  2. the devicenet driver does not yet support the plugin for the view of the PXI chassis. It appears under devices and Interfaces, and the name is not editable either. Currently the driver uses the numbers in the order of detection if several cards are present.

  Two things will look in our next version before the end of this year.

  I use a CRIO 9081 which worked well with MAX/VeriStand, but recently, I've reconfigured MAX and now, the chassis is more visible in remote system when I refreshed it...

  What I need to reconfigure the CRIO or reset the chassis and the IP to see him again?

  Have you tried:

  -disable the firewall

  -reset the compactrio system ip

  -Reinstall MAX

  If the firmware of the device implements the VXI-11 or the LXI standard, it will not be detected as one. You should try to use the: RAW type connection instead of: Instr.

• Ocean Optics USB2000 not detected by MAX

  I downloaded the drivers for the optical ocean USB2000. Initially, I tried just in the course of execution of the VI until I realized that I needed to install the fichier.inf. How I installed the wrong choice (I tried to install Windows vista and not xp file). After the correction of this error by copying the correct file in the INF folder on my computer MAX detects no device.   What is the version of your NI-VISA? The download page driver instruments here claims it requires 4.6 or later. If this is the case then a simple download of the new VISA will solve your problem. Please make sure you pointing the driver in to the 2000 USB Device Manager.

• cRIO-9025 is not recognized in MAX

  I have the cRIO-9025 controller connected directly to the computer, but it is not recognized in MAX.

  I tried to manually add the IP address, but that does not work either.

  I've disabled most of the virus protection software and added to the exceptions in the firewall for the software OR.

  What type of network are you on? Is it a computer University (I'm trying to understand why you can't change the settings of the firewall)? You can add measurement and Automation Explorer as an exception? You can add UDP 44525 as an exception? Another thing you can do to really tell if it is a firewall problem is to try another computer with a different firewall configuration (but with the same driver of RIO) to see if the cRIO is detected it. It looks like, based on my experience that something prevents MAX to communicate to your target. Your cRIO has an IP address? If so have you tried it ping via the command prompt. To get the IP address (of the kind that you can ping), you can use embedded in the cRIO out console.

  

• cRIO-9002 - sees in MAX but Can not control

  I have a cRIO-9002 with chassis cRIO-9201, I try to configure so that I can use it for a new project in the lab that I am working. So far I was able to get on our network and am able to see to the MAX; However, once I click on it in MAX, MAX is here trying to cool off for a while and system resources all is listed as not available (once MAX gives up on refresh). I'm not able to see the installed software and it disconnects frequently. I turned on the CONSOLE OUT on the cRIO and here is the result:

  What version of the drivers OR RIO, LabVIEW and LabVIEW RT do you have installed on your computer?

  OR MAX was able to communicate the fine before? Nothing changed?

  Is your cRIO executes any RT executable launch, request or communication with an FTP server?

  If your computer has all the software and drivers may be easier trying to format and reinstall the cRIO, it doesn't take long and it takes a few simple steps.

  How do I format my target in real time and reinstall the software?

• MAX does not detect the module

  I am part of a team of the FRC and putting in place a Board very easy test to use to test the components.

  I try to use a cDAQ-9171 therefor, with the modules normal FRC - 9201 analog, 9403 for digital and 9472 solenoid.

  When I connect the cDAQ to the computer, MAX detects it and displays it in the tree view on the left. However, when I insert a module (9403), it does not detect it.

  I can do a device simulated, and a simulated inside that module and which works very well. But of course that accomplishes nothing.

  Any ideas? I tried Googling this problem, but I guess that my research skills need work because I found nothing.

  We use an NI USB-6212. We had installed it and works correctly on a test system.

  Now it does not work and what are the symptoms:

  -When it is connected to the USB the led next to the connector bus is not turned on.

  Following the expression "USB-Loader of Firmware" as a hint, I found the following link, related to my problem:

• USRP-2921 not detected by my laptop

  I am now using Macbook Air and install Windows 7 using Bootcamp, so I need to use the ethernet adapter to connect the cable between the camera and my laptop. And I installed LabVIEW in Windows 7. However, even if I put the address 192.168.10.4 LAN IP (IP address of the USRP is 192.168.10.3), my laptop still cannot detect the USRP.

  I tried Macbook Pro that installs Windows 7, and it can detect the device correctly. So I think that the problem can come from the ethernet card, but when I checked the driver on the adapter information, it worked fine.

  Could someone help me solve the problem? I have to re - install the driver for the ethernet card?

  ethernet speed is the neck of the bottle.  then you will see a reduced performance with the switch because your laptop will not work 100 max.  So instead of 25 MHz, you will get 2.5 MHz of streaming.

  But yes, a switch at least you running.  I really recommend the tunderbolt Gigabit ethernet adapter.

• PCIe-8231 is not displayed in MAX

  I recently bought a PCIe - 8231 GIGE Vision Board.  After having installed the software of vision on the PC, I have installed the card as described in the installation manual.  Max does not detect the card, and when I plug the camera I bought (Basler Ace Camera, acA2000-50gc, color 2048 x 1088, 50 frames per second, PN 782654 - 01), nothing changes.  However, Deputy Manager of devices, windows detects that the PCIe card is connected, and I attributed the driver OR the card.  Not sure why it is not detected. Thoughts?

  How are power you the camera? The 8231 provides no power, if you need power to the camera via a PoE switch, injector or external power supply via the i/o connector.

• NOR-XNET Bus Monitor does not detect port

  Hi all

  I need somehelp. I have 2 PXI-8512 and assembla CAN1 CAN2, CAN3 and MAY 4.
  I want to control my XNET data traffic. Yes, they are available in MAX. But once I open the monitor of Bus OR-XNET, every channel I have are not detected.  Interface name box is empty, does not show anything.

  I'm sorry, but this is a limitation of the distant targets in XNET bus monitor. See the following Knowledge Base article:

• 5.1 ESXi does not detect my network cards during installation

  Hi I am trying to install esxi 5.1, but during the installation, I get an error not detected no physical network adapter and then abandons the instillation. I know that my network card is not detected until I have install the driver, but I don't know how I can install the dryers to exsi, during the installation of windows.

• Time Machine (on Mac) does not detect the airport Time Capsule

  Looking for advice on how to get the Time Machine utility for access to my Time Capsule. I use an iMac in late 2012 with MAC OS 10.12 TimeCapsule is 2015 7.7.7 running latest firmware. Airport utility is the latest firmware 6.3.7.

  When I run the application Time Machine, Time Capsule is not detected. I tried the two WiFi and with cables connected Ethernet (not tried USB yet) and my Time Capsule doesn't have a lightning bolt or firewire ports.

  Open Airport utility & see the airport time capsule. I can see all connected devices, including the MAC, but no prompt activation Time Machine on the Time Capsule.

  I recently used TM on this iMac with a G-Technology drive. It auto detects the time machine and executes a back up. But airport Time Capsule will not.

  Any suggestions?

  Sierra has been problematic with the TC.

  1. make sure you don't have any charge virus protection software. In fact, I would say that disable all software 3rd part at the moment.

  2. make sure that you can actually write to disk of TC.

  Attach the TC disc in the finder and copy a file on disk, you can delete it later... It's just to ensure that you have full write permission. If it does not for the most part, you won't be able to use Time Machine... If you can then try TM immediately...

  Just to be clear, the TC is a network device. You have tested with ethernet and wireless... Ok.. They are only suitable methods. You cannot use USB. And clearly, TC has never had nor will never be ports Firewire or lightning.

  3. no chance that a reset complete TC. This will not delete the files on the hard drive, but you must make sure that the device is configured on the current computer.

  4. There are many positions in these days... read through them and do some research. Sierra is a bleeding edge new... So wait you to spend a lot of the precious liquid if you choose to be an early adopt.

  Hello, so, as it is said, my ipod is not detected by itunes and it s not because taking usb does not work or has problems because it becomes a hard drive on my computer.
