CSA network dock

New implementation of CSA 4.0, try to deploy the agent to initial standard laptop kit. Installation of the kit works fine on the laptop of the client, which includes the installation of the network hold (you're invited there during interactive installation).

At startup, the local agent logs and reports: "agent could not start the csanet driver. The local log file indicates this will affect certain policies attributed to the kit/Group (obviously).

The current thinking is that a change in the network stack, caused by an application such as VMWare or a wedge of VPN client can be causing a conflict.

Has anyone previously met this problem or similar problems?

Thank you...

This is usually due to, as you think, another software that has itself placed in the stack of the PC network / laptop. The usual culprits are the Cisco VPN client (or check for other VPN clients), antivirus software, personal firewall, etc.

Try to remove the agent from CSA, removing the alleged perpetrator, then reinstall the agent. After installation, you should then be able to reinstall it guilty and things will run fine.

Note that this is already reported as bug and at least as far as the Cisco VPN client is concerned, is already fixed in the new agent of 4.0 (1). I'm sure this is fixed for all other guilty as well but just did not run in them these last time.

I m wondering why you started new thread on the Toshiba DVD Dock II network because I found another thread 2nd in this forum that you opened some time ago
However, as the LAN card is already recognized in Device Manager, the issue should not be the missing LAN card driver, but from my point of few LAN connection has not been configured correctly.

To be honest it of a long time since I worked with this ancient system in Win 98SE and I do not exactly remember the steps how to configure the local and internet network to help Win 98SE, but knowledge base Microsoft contain a lot of useful KB article on different themes.

    I found this one:

  • With the help of the cable network goes down TB15 Dock

I have a new XPS 15 9550 and a dock TB15.  So far, the road has been long and hard to get this operational PC.  One of the issues pending my couple is that when I plug in an ethernet cable in the TB15 dock, it seems to hang the dock.  I lose the audio and video of her output.  To recover, I can unplug the ethernet cable, unplug the Thunderbolt of the PC cable, wait a few seconds and then plug the bolt of lightning cable back in.  I installed all the new network and the drivers for the XPS 15 9550 dock.

Everyone knows a similar problem?  Any ideas on what I could do to fix it?

    Thank you!

This procedure seems to solve the problem of ethernet with the dock:

Go to the properties of the right WIFI, 'Control configuration\reseau and Internet\Network connections', click on the map of WI - FI, properties, configure, advanced, power output. Change from 100% to 75%.

  • How can I connect my Mac to a network server? As in windows yo go to my computer / connection to a network drive, and then you select a letter and write the name of the server that you want to be logged

I'm trying to adapt Windows to my new MacBook Pro with OS El Capitan.

I work remotely for a company and I want to connect my Mac to the server of the company.

My question is how to connect a MAc to a network drive with the permanently available connection.  For example, in my old HP I went to my computer / connection to a network drive. I've selected a letter and note the name of the server that I wanted to be connected to. The connection was then shown with my other drive hard 'sections '; I want to say C:, D: (for recovery), e: (for tools) and then connecting to the external server has been shown with the selected letter.

There is no "letter" under OS X. It's a hangover very old of BACK, devices of mapping and volumes labeled mailbox.

If you are connected to your corporate network, you should see the available network volumes listed in the Finder, in ' my computer > network ", or with the command K to connect to a server.

You can create an alias for the volume and put it in the Dock, or leave on the desktop or put it somewhere else, and the next time you want to connect to this subject, simply double-click on it. You can also add the server address to your "favourites" in the connect to Server dialog box.

  • Pier show shared network - Manager profile

Running the Server 5 and el cap, if I add network shares to a dock users that they show as a question mark that is not resolved when you click on it.  I think it's because of the network shares mapped AFTER THAT the docking station is responsible.  It wasn't a problem at the time of the Workgroup Manager, but things have changed to ovviously...

I created a login script to 'kill the dock' after a period of time.  I also have a logoff script that did other things, so I don't know that the correct settings are enabled to allow scripts to run.

Runs the script .sh during the session of the user refresh the dock and the network properly shortcuts card.  However, it is not automate as I want it too.  Ive has set the script to pause for 20 seconds, but it still does not for some reason any.

Here is my script that is saved as a .sh and CHMOD 777 and then transferred to the Profile Manager in the section "login scripts.

    #! / bin/bash

    # Dock charging

    sleep 25

    Anything obvious ive done wrong?

    Thank you.

Just read this in another forum

    • The connection-hook script runs synchronously before other connect actions and must therefore be short.

This explains why my script doesn't work as I had hoped.  I will try to start a file of a volume mapped instead network and see if it works.

  • Elite x 3 Dock desktop: desktop dock use lan

Just a quick question: the x 3 uses the connection to the local network of the dock office. It seems to me that it does not work. There seems to be no LAN settings in Windows Mobile 10 when it is docked.

If this isn't the case, he plans to use the LAN DeskDock x 3 connectivity in the near future?

    Thank you

    Yes it works.

I tried on my HP Elite x 3 by turning off cell phones and WiFi and connect an ethernet cable. For example, I could update my Garmin maps, which was a 3 GB download. (Note that this is super fast like wired is generally much faster than the wireless.)

Also by email, browser WhatsApp and Edge worked as usual.

There is actually no settings to configure, but most networks are DHCP / autoconfig anyway.

  • Never connect some WiFi networks...

Sometimes, when you are traveling I'll find myself looking to take advantage of the wifi airport... about 50% of the time my mac connected without problem. The rest of the time he is there right and acts like it is connected but nothing never loads in the browser.  This happens only on wifi networks that require some sort of "disagreement with the terms" screen or a paywall.   If I leave everything and restart then sometimes it fixes, but not always, and it's a terrible solution.

Anyone know why this kind of thing happen?

If you connect OK 50% of the time, then you are doing very well.

AirPort WiFi networks are often overcrowded with too many users trying to use the same network at the same time. In this case, the result is slow... or not... connections. Nature of the beast, I'm afraid.

If you belong to a club of the airline which offers separate private space for its members, the WiFi in these areas almost always works fast and reliable.

One thing that might help a little... is to remove from the list of networks that your MacBook has signed in the past, allowing him to quickly find available networks when you need a connection.

Open System Preferences (gear on the dock icon)

    Open Network

Click Wireless on the left to highlight Panel

Click the Advanced Options button at the bottom right of the window

Here you will see a list of wireless networks that your MacBook is connected to in the past

Click on the name of a network that you no longer need to highlight

Then, click on the - (less) button at the bottom of the list to remove this network

Do the same for all the other networks that you no longer need

Click OK at the bottom right of the window

Click apply in the next window that appears

Close the windows and then restart your MacBook

Is this something to do with being properly "OFF"?

    PROTECTED 7020CT Windows XP

    Hello

Well, to my knowledge the PXE error because the device is not able to boot from the local network.
Have you tried to boot from LAN or something like that?

Enter the BIOS and change the boot order. Perhaps you set the LAN at the first stage in the boot order, and therefore the unit will try to boot from LAN.

  • Tecra A10 - 1GV and Docking Stations: Dynadock vs Express Port Replicator II

    Hello Forum;

Official Toshiba site proposes to use the Docking Station Express Port Replicator II for laptop A10 1GV.

I need for my construction work 2 monitors.

My question: can I use with the Express Port Replicator II two additional monitors at the same time (there are 2 connectors (DVI and analog VGA/RGB). Is it possible to create two different images in this way?
Some have said, that after a connection with the DVI - D VGA connector is turned off.

    Someone at - he experiences?

On the other hand Toshiba offeres the Docking-station "Port replicator USB Dynadock U" -.
This docking station is only connected via USB with the laptop. According to the data sheet - it provides an analog and a digital monitor with different views at the same time, up to 1920 x 1200 pix., extra headphones and 6 x USB 2.0. more network connection

This official docking station works with all USB-connect computers, but in the compatibility list does not mention the Terca A10 and gives only a declaration of compatibility for the series Toshiba NB200 from Toshiba.

Someone out there experimenting with this docking station?

What would be the best way to work with two monitors + the computer screen?

Thanks for all the good advice.

    Michael

    Hello

As much as I know Express Port Replicator supports the simultaneous use of RGB & DVI only if the laptop itself also supports the simultaneous use of RGB & DVI.
So if the Tecra A10 1GV would support the use of RGB and DVI port simultaneously then Express Port Replicator should support too.

The Port USB Dynadock Port Replicator support VGA or DVI port. I didn't find the Dynadock, which was equipped with two ports together.
The Dynadock can be connected to all computers with USB 2.0 and it beautiful s expansion.
