Hopefully you can guide me to the right direction to solve this problem.

I have a problem to export the configuration of a device of 1112.

It does not start correctly. Authentication and login GUI is not possible.

I can console and SSH for her but the only thing that I get the commands below and nothing else.

The database seems to be corrupted. I suggest you reimage the box with recovery CD 4.2. However, it seems that you have no database current or older we can restore to ACS.

NOTE: reimage will remove all configurations of the ACS.

What changes you pushed down in this situation? Have you tried to upgrade the code or a patch on it?

    Are you using Windows phone Device Recovery Tool?

    What application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?  What anti-spyware (other than Defender) applications?  What third-party firewall (if applicable)?

    I suggest you to disable the third-party antivirus and check if it helps.

    It is theoretically possible, but not so easy to do. USB option does not work. What you can try is to use the external CD/DVD drive, but it won't work so easy. The reason is that this external device will be recognized automatically.

    I didn't try, but I'm sure you must start your laptop with disk boot BACK, BACK to load a driver for the external device to access and as the last step of the installation of recovery.
    It's quite complicated.
    Best solution for you is to check eBay, buy the new optical disk drive, be happy with many of the workbook.

    You should be able to.restore the backup in Desktop Manager help - don't be a swap of the device.

  • Recovery CD work not (Satellite A10)

    I have a Satellite A10S503, I bought 1 year ago now I want to format using the product recovery CD. However the procedure do not work.
    1. I put the CD in the drive.
    2. active on the computer by pressing F12.
    3 choose the CD logo.

    And then reopened Win XP.

    Second, I changed the boot device main to the Toshiba HW Setup CD and I started.

    This time, at the start, computer tried a CD but 'failure to support' message came on the screen. And Windows XP open as before...

    To sum up, I couldn't format my computer.

    I have two drives CD-ROM that comes in the box from Toshiba.
    1 Toshiba Recovery CD
    2. Tools & Utilities CD

    And none of them works as a format XP bootable disc.

    I just want to format my computer and restore factory settings. Manual Guide Toshiba says it's possible, but the procedure does not work!

    On the Toshiba Recovery CD there is image that includes the operating system, all necessary drivers, Toshiba tools and some applications provided by Toshiba. Recovery CD is bootable and should be used only for the installation of the operating system.

    Tools & Utilities CD contained all the drivers, tools and utilities that you need for the use of portable computers. It is not bootable.

    If you want the updated CD-ROM boot CD device recovery CD. Press the power button / stop and keep the button C until CD-ROM starts to read the restore CD.
    Follow the instructions on the screen.

    Before doing this, you can also check in BIOS's power Mode option. If you can find it please choose boot option.

    Hey people;

    This thread is just to consolidate the info from a lot a longer wire, earlier.

    Currently, the Sansa Connect recovery tool may or may not work for you.  You can see an error like 'failed to connect to the Internet' or "cannot retrieve the device, SanDisk contact technical support for assistance."  If Yes, it's probably because the recovery tool is unable to download the firmware images he needs zing.net.  SanDisk has not (yet) recognized this problem.  The strange thing is that * sometimes * recovery tool works, if you already have images of the firmware on the drive... but usually it doesn't.

    So here's what you do (with thanks to Larlos for providing the firmware images and order lines to their installation).  This assumes that you're 'stuck' to the "necessary recovery" post on your connection.  If not and you are in the regular menu of Sansa Connect, first follow steps 2 and 3 in this paper: http://mp3support.sandisk.com/tools/connect-recovery-instructions.pdf, do the following:

    (1) download the zip file containing the images of the http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UNLDGZ1N firmware

    (2) search for the following files in the zip file, and then copy them into the directory of your drive "C:\Program Updater Connect Device Recovery\cmdline":

    • everest_initrd_ext_prod_1.1.1.50239.SRR.e
    • everest_vmlinux_ext_prod_1.1.1.50239.SRR.e
    • yeverest_zap_ota_rel_1.1.2.65799.tar.gz.e

    (4) connect your Sansa Connect USB.

    (5) run the recovery.bat file (double-click it in Windows Explorer, or run from a DOS command prompt).  The line of 'pause' is there only so you can see the results of running if you run it from Windows Explorer.  Expect the recovery to the end; at the end of that your connection will restart.  If Windows displays the hardware wizard detected during this process, simply cancel the wizard.

    (1) no; you see the version numbers are associated with the files of the firmware (names starting with "everest" and "yeverest" files) that you have either downloaded when you ran the recovery tool, or download in megaupload.com zip file.

    (2) Yes, it's normal.  Zing is the company that allows you to manage authentication of audio stream and firmware for the connection.

    (3) the Y! symbol indicates just that when you use the Internet Radio feature, you are streaming audio of Yahoo (in fact, now owned by CBS Radio).  There is also a function of Flickr photos, which is associated with Yahoo.

    I'll put up a new CSACSE-1113-k9 (acs 4.2 device).

    1st step is to perform the initial configuration by a connection serial (rs-232 port on the chassis of the device).

    I already did, but whenever I try to connect to the serial port, Setup runs allover again.

    Account admin, ip address, mask, etc., all that is there, but it keeps cycling through the same sequence of script, and I need to access the CLI to issue certain commands.

    Tips/advice appreciated please.

    It's because you keep giving Yes for the test running on the initial Setup. When you are asked to test the network connectivity you enter N for which. Hope that clarifies your query.

    This step is essentially running a ping command to ensure the connectivity of the ACS.

    g. at the prompt, enter host name or IP address:, type the IP address or the host name of the device connected to the ACS SE and then press ENTER.

    Result: If successful, the system displays the ping statistics. The system displays the command prompt: test connectivity network [Yes]:.

    h. if network connectivity is confirmed in the previous two steps, at the prompt, [Yes] network connectivity Test:, type n, or N, and then press ENTER.

    Tip the system continues to provide you with the opportunity to test the network connectivity until you answer No. This means that you can fix the network connections or retyping the IP address.

  • USB 3.0 hard drive "Unknown device" After sleeping

    I have a USB 3.0 external hard drive (1.5 to) that presents itself as 'Unknown device' recovery from my computer.  If I reboot, the drive works fine.  It occurs only after my computer goes to sleep.  I might just disable the sleep turn off hard disks, but I want to sleep/off hard drives can add some life to them and save me some powers.  I use Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit).  Also, I have my power settings so that my hard drives turn off after 45 minutes and my computer sleeps after 1 hour.

    Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    I think that editing the registry in the AdditionalCriticalWorkerThreads string may have worked.  I didn't have any problems today, but I'll keep testing to make sure.

    First of all it s important to know which model you have exactly-> PSAE1, PSAE4 or PSAE7

    After that I might give you some Tip If you have downloaded the wrong driver or drivers are actually available for your type of computer.

    With regard to the recovery DVDs: it s not available for download because Toshiba does not provide these images on some servers or elsewhere.
    If you want to recovery media, please contact an authorized service partner and ask them recovery CD/DVD.

    I recently installed a cat2924XL. I was setting up Ganymede when I'm distracted and the session has expired - now I can't get to the switch. The only part I had set up was aaa-new model and secure line aaa authentication login. Unfortunately, I have no authentication of secure connection configured on the vty lines cty. Is it possible around this other than breaking into the device - it's understandable that I don't want to take the unit down!

    If you have written your config, password recovery is required. If this isn't the case, you need to restart.

    It's always a good idea to install a local account as a roundabout way method. This is useful if the AAA negotiation encounters an "error", then it will try the next method. Some examples of this are if you have the wrong key in the device mapped to the AAA server or network connectivity is down to the AAA server.

    Personally, I like to turn off aaa on the port of the console for this particular reason. Certainly, it can bypass a security policy, but if someone has physical access to the console, they can break anyway.

    Here's how:

    If you use EXEC authorization or order, they should be disabled on port console as well.
