  I am trying to create a custom step of multiple digital limit test. The custom step by itself poplulates the value of the limits of the measure. So I plan on Hide tab limits within the parameters of the step. Can someone guide me on how to do it?

  Make sure that you have checked the box 'Show hidden properties' in the StationOptions > preferences. Otherwise, you will never find the table refers to erik.

  Hello!

  I am quite new to Teststand and I'm stuck with a problem whose solution should not be otherwise complex... (I think...).

  I would use a "limit test digital"vi (LabVIEW module). " This vi returns 3 paintings and I would define 1 "min/max" for each table.

  that is to say:

  Array1 => each element compared to min - 1 & max1

  Array2 => each element compared to min2 & max2

  ARRAY3 => each element compared to min3 & max3

  For 1 table, I found this solution: I write Locals.ARRAY1 [RunState.LoopIndex] 'DataSource' and all the elements of the array are compared to the limits that I chose. Of course, when I add 2 tables, the same limits are compared to these new windows but I would allocate 1 limits given in table 1.

  Does anyone have an idea of an easy solution?

  Consider this example.  The trick is to repeat a measurement on the Data Source tab.

  I would like to test if a global chain of the station is a member of an array of resort chains. If this is the case, I would use a special digital limit and so do not use the normal limit.

• For the Boolean result of a numerical limit test success/failure

  Requirement

  My main sequence, I would like to call a subsequence of steps. If one of these tests in the subsequence fails, the main sequence must ignore all remaining events for this object to be measured.

  Plan

  I intend to have the subsequence return a Boolean flag in the main sequence, which would check this flag and jump to the group stage of cleaning if necessary. Most subsequence of testing is performed in a loop, so I thought of this approach:

  Question

  It's easy to do with a pass/fail test, I couldn't find a way to get the Boolean result of a numerical limit test.

  1. Is there a way to get this Boolean result?
  2. Is there a better way to meet my needs?

  Using the Post Actions would be so much easier.  You can configure the sequence to do various things in failure, including a step you specify (that is, cleaning).

• Adding a custom under the test Configuration profile

  In older versions of PS, if I added a custom format to test profile, it should be pinned to the Format menu to test (and the default profile).  That does not happen in PS CS6.

  Could someone explain what is really Logging.PropertyResultDetails.Order . And if there is another term I should use to get the Index of the numerical limit for a trial of multiple numerical limit?

  Also is it a sort of reference manual that shows what kind of properties I have access to in Logging.PropertyResult I can't find that anywhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I remember having this problem with the old version of the unit testing framework, but alas, it is still present in the new version.

  To do this, I use LabVIEW 2015.

  A customer contacted ask me what to do, because the expected output was table of NaNs and the VI under test returns an array of numbers and yet, the test was passing!

  My suggestion to use as a solution was to create a defined trial user who would test for the table of NaNs. I was wondering if someone here had found this problem and if you have further suggestions other than user defined Test.

  Until someone suggests we turn to JKI VI tester for this project, I can tell you that we use UTF and tester of JKI VI not because the client is in a regulated industry.

  Question: Is using a user defined Test is the best approach? We missing something in the way that the Unit Test is defined which translates the fake of the Test infrastructure Unit reports that the test successful?

  I was able to reproduce the problem on my machine and I have observed the same results. What I see in the video, it looks that you are setting the unit test. I think that this is a bug rather than your test configuration, so I presented a report on this issue will have to be reviewed by the R & D.

  Go ahead, I agree that a user defined Test is the best solution in this case. If it meets the needs of your clients, I recommend you take this option.

• Problems of LabVIEW with Test Unit under lvoop

  I try now provided with LV2012 with a LVOOP code Unit Test infrastructure but seem to be a few problems.

  I have built a unit test for a base class in the attached draft who is the source of class (it is another class in the project as it is an example of a method for recovering, but it is not used in the unit test). My problem is that I get results that fail for one of my tests, when I think they have to work.

  Basically, the unit test is configured as follows

  Case 1) test the VI without installation VI and ensure proper operation default values

  Case 2) test VI by setting specific values in the test in VI of disassembly and also check the single release of "Source Method.vi" configuration VI

  Case 3) Test of the VI with the VI of installation using the default values and confirm them through the VI of disassembly

  When running case 2 fails and indicates that disassembly of the VI return values by default not those fed to the installation VI. I don't see why.

  The behavior you describe is planned. When you first call the 'Source_Method.vi' by using the 'SourceAccess Unit Test Manual.vi", the"Unit Test Manual.vi SourceAccess' creates and instance of the "Source_Method.vi". In this specific case of the VI it will boot with the default values but will then retain the values passed by the "Unit Test Manual.vi SourceAccess' until the project we closed, or specifically tell you to reset defaults. Whenever she is called by 'SourceAccess Unit Test Manual.vi' it will access this instance of it. If another instance of the "Source_Method.vi" was created by another parent it would be initialized with their default values, until crushed by the top-level VI calling. Then would he behave exactly as the instance created by the "Unit Test Manual.vi SourceAccess". Whatever your type typedef and its configuration, as long as everything is connected correctly, this should be the expected behavior when you configure things through object-oriented programming in LabVIEW.

  I use the new unit test in 2.1(.0.62) SQL Developer functions and am really loving what is there - little about all the stuff that I'm used from JUnit.
  
  However, when I try to access built-in reports, I get a dialog box stating:

  This feature is dependent on a particular version of the database, or is it just something missing in the release of EA?

  I noticed, that when executing a sequence on test bench - the steps pane State is different, where some tabs in parallel model are all in one line, while the other workstations have them in several columns/rows.  I'm sure there must be a way to control it, but I don't know how.  See the pictures attached, if what I say is not clear.

  Tried to play with the configuration of the user interface under the sequence Editor Options, but he doesn't do it for me.
